    First, prepare the cakes. Combine all dry ingredients in a separate bowl.

    Without stopping whipping, add the cooled milk-egg mass into the whipped butter in a tablespoon.

    We are preparing the impregnation. Instant coffee pour boiling water and stir until dissolved.

    Add sugar and brandy and stir until sugar dissolves.

    For the filler, cut the bananas into thin slices.

    Let's start assembling the cake. We soak each cake with coffee and cognac impregnation.

    On bottom cake apply the cream, lay a layer of banana slices on top.

    Apply a thin layer of cream on top of the bananas.

    Put the next cake on top, cover with cream, bananas, and again with a thin layer of cream.

    We spread the top cake on top, cover with a thin layer of cream, and put the cake in the refrigerator for several hours so that the cream will set.

    While the cake is infusing, prepare a cream for decoration. Chilled egg whites beat with a pinch of salt until firm foam.

    In a saucepan, mix sugar and water, bring to a boil over medium heat, and cook for 4 minutes. Then add citric acid, mix, and cook for a few more minutes until a drop of syrup, poured into a plate with cold water will not keep its shape.

Cooking steps

    Let's start by making the cakes. To do this, take 6 eggs and beat them until the volume doubles. Then add 180 g granulated sugar and beat for another 2-3 minutes. Sift flour and mix with baking powder, and then combine with egg-sugar mass. Pour in the poppy seeds and stir gently again. In the shape of a heart, bake 3 biscuit-poppy cakes, preheating the oven to 180 degrees. Each cake is baked for about 15 minutes.

    In the meantime, prepare the custard. First, in a refractory container, mix milk with 120 g of granulated sugar, 3 egg yolks, 2 ½ tbsp. l. flour and 2 tbsp. l. starch (better than corn).

    We put the container on the stove or in the microwave and heat the mixture over medium-high heat, stirring regularly.

    Ready cream should thicken well. After that, it can be removed from the stove and cooled, and if there are lumps, it can also be rubbed through a sieve.

    Interrupt the cooled homogeneous custard with a mixer to get the smoothest texture possible.

    Beat the softened butter separately.

    Then we add it to the custard and interrupt all together until splendor.

    Defrost the cherries and combine with the remaining sugar and the remnants of starch diluted with water.

    Boil the mixture until thick and cool.

    Now we collect the cake. To do this, cover each cake with custard, and then sandwich with a cherry mass.

    Heavy cream interrupt well with icing sugar and a thickener.

    Cover the cake with the resulting mixture.

  • milk - 25 tablespoons.

  • butter - 1300 g;
  • milk - 2.5 l;
  • sugar - 1300 g;

  • vanilla sugar - 40 g;
  • flour - 20 tablespoons.

  1. Combine eggs with sugar in a bowl, stir well, add honey, margarine, milk there.
