Snack with curd filling and herbs

We offer a very simple recipe for making Armenian lavash with curd filling at home. Roll with herbs and cottage cheese must be baked in the oven.   • the same amount of sesame;
  • garlic.

We lay out a sheet of pita bread and grease it with melted cheese, best of all creamy. Mix cottage cheese with chopped herbs and add garlic, passed through a press. Add a little salt to the filling to taste. If you come across dry cottage cheese, then you can add sour cream to it. Then the mass will be easier to apply to the pita bread. But this is not so important, since it does not lose integrity and the curd does not flow out. But the taste of the dish is excellent. Cut the finished pita bread and serve it hot or warm.

How to serve ready-made pita bread?

As you wish! If it is a large roll with a filling, then it must be cut into portions. If the finished small sheets, then they put the filling on them and twist the rolls and even serve them just like that. Only the festive version should be trimmed or cut beautifully.

Attention ... If you use mayonnaise or sour cream, sauce or tomato in the filling, cut the roll carefully - the lavash is very tender! And do not miss the consistency - make a liquid dressing, all your work down the drain.

Each filling has its own taste, needs, possibilities and, finally, the stomach. But the recipes I'll share are verified. Therefore, I wish you bon appetit in advance!

Bulgarian pepper, I have it everywhere and always. And in combination with chicken meat and other characters, he sounded even brighter. I decided to chop it up with straws so that I could then fill the rolls in length.

Since the onions will now be fried with peppers, I also cut them. Which format to choose? And this is for your taste. I love onions in any form, so I was not too shy - the circles looked great later in the filling.

We put the pan on the stove. Pour the butter so that the bottom is covered with a thin layer. This time I experimented - is it possible not to fry each ingredient separately, but all at once. Happened! But in large quantities, products will have to be fried separately. But it's worth it! So, let's send all our slices into the heated oil and fry, turning over. Only at the end will we season with salt and spices.

The filling is ready, in principle. But the process is not over. Indeed, the filling contains both cheese and mayonnaise with ketchup. Therefore, I will continue. Having made the slices, I covered the filling sent to the pita bread flavored with ketchup and mayonnaise with them.

  • chopped dill - 3 tablespoons
  • head of lettuce - 1 pc.
  • mayonnaise to taste

Cooking method:

  1. So, first of all, we put the eggs to boil (of course, cool). Then we cool them down and clean them. We rub the peeled eggs on a coarse grater or finely chop them with a knife (or knead with a fork).
  2. After that, grate the processed cheese (or you can crush it with the same fork). We disassemble the salad into separate leaves, rinse them thoroughly and dry them (put them on a paper towel). If you wish, you can grind them a little (or just tear them with your hands), however, as a rule, the leaves are laid out whole.
  3. We wash the dill greens very well under running cold water (by the way, it doesn't have to be only dill, you can safely use any of your favorite greens). We dry it and chop it finely.
  4. Mix the chopped eggs with melted cheese, and then add the chopped greens to the cheese-egg mixture. We peel the garlic and chop it very finely (either rub it on a fine grater, or pass it through a garlic press). Then we send it to eggs with cheese and herbs.
  5. After that, fill the resulting filling with mayonnaise and mix everything very thoroughly. It should be noted that the more mayonnaise you put, the better the pita bread will be saturated and thus softer. However, do not overdo it so that your filling simply does not float out of the roll.
  6. We spread one thin fresh sheet of Armenian lavash on a comfortable work surface, and lettuce leaves on it. Now put the cheese and egg filling on the salad. Then we spread the next sheet of pita bread and repeat the procedure. Put the pita bread again (already the last one), after the greens and the filling.
  7. Next, we wrap the pita bread in a roll (try to squeeze it more tightly while twisting). We wrap the finished roll in cling film (foil or a simple plastic bag) and send it to the refrigerator to infuse for about an hour and a half (or better - for a couple of hours).
  8. Serving a roll of lavash with melted cheese to the table, cut it into portioned equal pieces (approximately 2-3 centimeters wide) and put them on a beautiful dish, which you can decorate with lettuce, herbs, cherry tomatoes or olives.

Lavash rolls with melted cheese and tomatoes

Ingredients:

  • thin pita bread 1 piece
  • soft processed cheese 100 g
  • pommidor 2 pcs
  • sprigs of parsley and dill 6 pcs
  • vegetable oil
  • 10 g green
  • onion feathers 3 pcs

Cooking method:

  1. This dish is very simple to prepare. For it, we need thin Armenian lavash, it is better to buy lavash in the shape of a rectangle, it looks better in a ready-made dish, because it has smooth edges and, accordingly, rolls more conveniently into a roll.
  2. Lavash should be soft and not burnt (this happens), otherwise we will have to fry it anyway, but more on that later. As for cheese, it is better to use processed soft cheese (like "Viola", "Hochland") with a classic creamy taste.
  3. To begin with, we take our pita bread and over the entire surface (on one side) we coat it with a not thick layer of cheese (2-3 mm).
  4. Now dice the tomatoes and finely chop the herbs. We spread tomatoes on pita bread with cheese, then greens. We spread it over the entire surface of the pita bread, but not in a very thick layer, that is, pieces of tomato and greens should be fairly free from each other.
  5. We heat a frying pan with vegetable oil over high heat and spread our roll to fry. Within a few minutes, the roll acquires a golden brown crust (do not overexpose the pita bread in the pan, it will turn out tough).
  6. Once one side is fried, turn the roll over and fry on the other side.
  7. Cut the fried roll into portioned mini-rolls and serve. This dish is great both warm and cold. Great for picnics. The taste is soft creamy with subtle hints of greenery. In short, very tasty, I advise everyone to try it.

Rolls with cheese and garlic

The most popular appetizer for any table - cheese with garlic and mayonnaise, will serve you in different versions. You can simply put it in a bowl and serve. You can roll off rafaello balls from it, or spread it on pita bread and get several options for an excellent snack.

Making cheese and garlic filling

There is plenty of room for creativity, so I will not give exact proportions, experiment, I will give only the basis.

Products:

  1. Hard cheese or good quality processed cheese;
  2. Garlic;
  3. Mayonnaise.

How to cook:

If you are using processed cheese, my advice is to put them in the freezer for a while, they will rub better.

So, the cheese is grated (on a fine grater the appetizer will be more fluffy, on a coarse grater it will be denser, see how you like it). The garlic was chopped, mayonnaise was added (it is better to use homemade mayonnaise), everything was thoroughly mixed, put in a bowl and decorated, everything can be served.

Second option- roll up rafaello-type balls from a snack, you can put a nut, prunes inside, you can roll in coconut or chopped nuts. Lay out beautifully on a salad leaf - the appetizer is ready!

The third option- we take thin pita bread, pre-grease it with mayonnaise a little so that our lavashik is soaked and not dry, apply a snack, roll it up and send it in a bag to the refrigerator. There it will soak for a couple of hours and can be cut on the table.

Advice: know when to stop - if you overdo it with mayonnaise, the roll will crumble when cutting, if you smear it a little, it will be dry. You can also do this: immediately cut pita bread into strips of the desired size, and then form rolls from them.

Armenian thin lavash rolls with crab sticks

Crab roll in pita bread is probably one of the most popular and frequent guests at festive feasts. The filling turns out to be tender, spicy, and tasty.

First spread one sheet on the table, brush it with soft cheese (half a pack). Cut the crab sticks, grate the cheese, rinse the herbs, let the water drain so that it is not wet.
Put half of the sticks on soft cheese, sprinkle with cheese, put herbs. Roll everything up and send it to the refrigerator for impregnation, after wrapping it in film. Then take it out, cut it neatly and put it on lettuce sheets. Nice, tasty, simple!

This pita bread appetizer is perfect for a festive feast and for breakfast for household members.

Components:

  1. Champignon mushrooms (or others to taste) - 300 g;
  2. Cheese - 100 g;
  3. Lavash - 1 of 2 sheets;
  4. 2 onions;

Onions - diced. Fry the onion in oil, then add the mushrooms to it. Fry everything, add salt. Add ground pepper, taste it, so that it is spicy - the lavash is unleavened!

When the mushrooms have cooled down, we make a snack.

First, unfold the first sheet. Grease with mayonnaise or, for example, pesto sauce lightly, put mushrooms on the edge close to you, you can sprinkle with more cheese, if you have enough of it, roll up. Do the same with the second sheet.

Rolls with mushrooms and cabbage

In the evening, the filling was prepared, in the morning they just wrapped it in sheets, in a frying pan, for a couple of minutes - the seagulls boiled, the pancakes are ready - here's breakfast for the whole family. Cheap and cheerful, as they say in Odessa. You can change the fillings, experiment and get a different taste every time.

Ingredients:

  1. 2 Armenian lavash, 2 sheets each (you get 10 rolls);
  2. 0.5 kg of fresh mushrooms;
  3. 1 small fork of cabbage;
  4. 2 carrots;
  5. 0.5 kilos of onions.

Cooking process:

  1. Peel the mushrooms - remove the skin, wash, cut into thin plates. Then take 4 onions, cut into cubes and fry in sunflower oil (take refined so that there is no smell).
  2. Add mushrooms to the fried onions (when it is already golden) and start frying them along with the onions. In the meantime, chop the cabbage, pour half a glass of water into the cauldron and put the cabbage to simmer over low heat under the lid. Stir like this periodically - either cabbage or mushrooms.
  3. When the mushrooms are already well fried, salt them, add spices (I added dried dill, you can, if available, fresh), ground ginger, coriander. Then she added a spoonful of tomato to the mushrooms, mixed everything thoroughly.
  4. At this time, our cabbage has just gone out - we look, we try. It should not become soft, that is, when you taste it, such a light crunch should remain in it - then the filling will turn out delicious.
  5. I add the mushrooms to the cauldron to the cabbage, mix everything, add salt and spices again (we still have cabbage without anything), let it boil and turn it off.

Bean rolls

This is a wonderful and tasty dish in Lent, you can cook it for breakfast, take it to work or take your child to school. Hearty and healthy, because beans have many useful properties, and when is it still to be eaten, if not in fasting?

  1. I buy red beans and soak them in water overnight. In the morning I drain the water, and put our beans on low heat to cook. While it is cooking, I fry the onion in a pan (I cut it into cubes), carrots (usually rub it on a coarse grater) and put it aside.
  2. When the beans are ready - (that is, completely soft, but do not bring them to such a state that they fall apart), you need to grind them with a mortar - just like mashed potatoes.
  3. Then we add our refried onion with carrots to it, salt, pepper, add any spices to taste. You can (even need) add finely chopped greens there (which you like, or whatever is available), I prefer cilantro, parsley or dill.
  4. All this was mixed well, and if you see that the filling is too thick, add a little butter there. But do not overdo it, our rolls will still be fried in a pan.
  5. That's it, unfold one sheet, spread with filling, roll into a roll and cut into five pieces.
  6. We got such cute pancakes. Fry them in oil in a frying pan for just a minute or two to get golden - put them on a plate, pour in the tea and start eating. Bon Appetit!

We unfold the first sheet, grease it lightly with mayonnaise (the main thing is not to overdo it, otherwise the rolls will fall apart too much), and it is impossible not to spread it with mayonnaise, because they will be dry. Therefore, spread about 1 tablespoon on the sheet, especially on the edge that will be on top of the roll, the inner ones will be soaked in any way.

Put herring oil, herbs, fresh cucumber, cut into cubes, or red bell pepper inside - it will look beautiful in the cut and add a hint of taste to the dish.
