  • one carrot
  • black peppercorns (6 peas)
  • toothpicks
  • cardboard box with low sides
  • colored paper (yellow two sheets for straw and brown for a trough)
  • colored corrugated cardboard of any color for the fence
  • toilet paper roll
  • pine twig
  • a small piece of yellow plasticine
  • second glue and glue moment crystal
  • millet
  • ruler
  • pencil
  • scissors
  • eraser

Cut three circles from the narrow end of the peeled carrots. Their thickness should be about 3-5 mm.

Cooking three potatoes, three toothpicks and three mugs of carrots. The largest circle is for the largest potato, and the two smaller ones are for the smallest ones.

Break the toothpicks in half.

We stick two halves of a toothpick into each potato in those places where the pigs will have a patch.

We string carrot circles on top of the toothpicks.

Cut out two ears from carrots for each future piglet.

Take 6 toothpicks and break them in half. For each ear, you need 2 halves of a toothpick.

We try on the ears for the potatoes and stick a pair of toothpicks in the place where they should be.

We put a carrot ear on top.

And so for every pig.

Cut out 4 legs from carrots for each pig. Prepare 6 toothpicks (half a toothpick for each leg).

We turn each pig over and symmetrically stick toothpicks into the potato in place of the future legs. We string carrot legs on toothpicks.

In the place of future eyes, we make small indentations with a knife.

We drip a drop of second glue into them and put peppercorns in place of the peephole, crushing it into the grooves. Piglet (pig) from natural material ready!

Preparing a residence for the piglets. We take a cardboard box and measure its sides. We will make a fence around it.

We take corrugated cardboard of any color, and draw a fence on it, any, arbitrary. We will have 4 fence pieces, one on each side of the box. The length of each piece of the fence is equal to the length of the corresponding side of the box. The height of the fence should be greater than the height of the side of the box. I have a side height of 4 cm, and the height of the fence is 6.5 cm. The length of the box is 25 cm, width is 17 cm. Accordingly, I have two parts of a fence measuring 25x6.5 cm and two parts of a fence measuring 17x6.5 cm.

From the seamy side, we glue the lower part of the fence with glue.

We glue the fence to the corresponding side of the box.

We take pine twigs and use plasticine to glue them anywhere in the box.

For the manufacture of straw litter, we take two sheets of double-sided yellow colored paper.

Cut the paper into thin strips.

Mix them, lightly crush them with your hands and randomly lay them along the bottom of the box, whisking a little.

To make a trough, we take a roll of toilet paper.

We cut the roll in half lengthwise.

We glue brown paper to the roll.

We will have a brown trough.

We glue another part of the trough out of brown paper. We glue it to the part of the trough from the cardboard roll.

We put the trough in our box.

We place pigs in our box.

Pour millet on the pigs. Craft from potatoes master class with step by step photo comes to the end.

The kids will be able to feed the pigs and put them to bed. The pig this year will enjoy special honor and respect, as it will be.

Description

At its core, it is potato casserole with meat. Delicious casserole with a pleasant crust on the outside and tender on the inside. Cook and amuse your children and loved ones!

COOKING:

For minced meat, finely chop onion, carrot and celery stalk. Turn the meat into minced meat in a meat grinder. Heat some olive oil in a skillet and fry the vegetables for 3-4 minutes until tender. Add minced meat and, constantly kneading it with a spatula and stirring, fry until tender and dry. During the frying process, the meat will first change in color, then it will give a small amount of juice. You need to fry until the meat juice has completely evaporated. The dryness of the minced meat is the main condition and the guarantee of an appetizing crispy crust on the casserole. At the end of frying, add salt, pepper, spices. Remove the frying pan from the heat, collect the minced meat in one half, place the frying pan at an angle (half with minced meat on top) and, slightly pressing the minced meat with a spatula, squeeze out the excess liquid. Remove any liquid that flows down. You do not need to squeeze very hard.

Sometimes the frying pan is simply placed at an angle, allowed to stand for a while, and whatever drains by itself is removed without additional push-ups.

Cook the potatoes until tender (along with whole garlic cloves). Drain the water and return the potatoes to the stove and dry slightly. Add butter and mash in mashed potatoes (along with the cloves of garlic with which it was cooked). Add a little !!! milk to the state thick puree... The amount of milk depends on the type and wateriness of the potatoes, so it is very difficult to say exactly how much milk you need. If you add a lot, then the mashed potatoes will not keep their shape well, and if not enough, then the potatoes will be thick and it will be difficult to sculpt from them. Line a baking sheet with baking paper and place a layer of potatoes about 1.5 cm thick. Put the minced meat on top and lightly compress.

Use a spatula to fold over the bottom edges of the potato layer.

Spread the mashed potatoes gently on top to completely cover the minced meat. Leave a small amount of puree for the pig's ears and legs.

Cover the casserole with foil, and with your hands smooth-smooth the potato layer, give it the shape of a pig.

Form and attach the ears, legs and tail from the left puree.

Make eyes out of the black peppercorns. Attach a couple of peas to the patch. Sprinkle the grated cheese on the piglet with bread crumbs... Spread small pieces of butter on top.

Alternatively, you can lubricate egg yolk or sprinkle with dry sweet paprika. Bake at 200-210 ° C until golden brown (about 30-40 minutes). Transfer gently to a serving platter. Serve hot. My family loves with sour cream.

Enjoy your meal!

Potato casserole with meat, decorated in the shape of a pig, is well suited for a children's festive table, children will be delighted.

Products for the test:

1.5-2 kg of potatoes,

0.5 cups of milk

25 grams of butter

Salt to taste.

Let's make regular mashed potatoes. We make sure that the mass comes out dense, and not liquidish or completely liquid, otherwise nothing will work out and the whole pig will fall apart.

Filling products:

700-800 grams of meat (preferably pulp) take meat or pork or beef,

3-4 medium onions,

3-4 tablespoons of fat or butter

Salt and pepper to taste

2.503 cups boiling water.

Cooking. Wash the potatoes, peel them and cook until tender, then crush and add butter and hot milk. Cooking the filling. First, wash the meat, cut it into small pieces, salt and counter, fry in a pan for 5-7 minutes (you do not need to fry too much)

Add boiling water and simmer under the lid for 1-1.5 hours over low heat. We clean and wash the onions, fry the onions separately. Add it to already ready-made meat, mix everything well. Lay out a small part of mashed potatoes in a thin layer on a baking sheet, which we covered with foil in advance.

Put on top meat filling, cover with a layer of mashed potatoes and start sculpting the "carcass" of the pig: lengthen the face, make a snout on the nose, ears on the head, round the sides and tummy. We make the eyes from allspice peas. I made the nostrils with a pencil - the blunt side.

And we sculpt the tail from the remaining mashed potatoes. Draw the eyelashes with a fork. Next, grease our mashed potato piglet with a beaten egg and put in a heated oven for 30 minutes or 1 hour (depending on the heating of the oven). The finished pig should have a beautiful golden color, but at the same time, make sure that the casserole does not burn or dry out.
