Who is talking about what, and we are all about food, dear friends! I think it has something to do with the chilly December weather. So, last weekend, after visiting, we went with an inspection to a new Moscow institution with Italian cuisine - Osteria numero UNO.
The space of the osteria is large and light, there is a lot of "air", the design is laconic and ascetic, but "with a twist" - linen folding chairs, wooden floors and benches, original lamps and dishes, painted concrete walls in pleasant-looking colors, a retro bicycle hangs on the wall , and in the middle of the hall there is an open kitchen, where Italian chefs Gianluca and Giovanni are baking pizza and preparing pasta (very sociable guys, one of them approached our photographer Masha and asked him to show the photos she took). Chef Antonio (ex- “Sirena”) reigns in the closed kitchen - he is also Italian, so the place is quite authentic.
The audience is pleasant faces, mostly young people, but there are also sedate married couples with children and without. I am glad that you can smoke in Osteria numero UNO only at the two farthest tables or at the bar. There is free wi-fi. Osteria has not yet issued a license for alcohol (they promise in January), so while you can bring your own alcohol (attention! A check from the store is required), the "cork fee" is 500 rubles per bottle. Glasses, ice and more included.
We also really liked the originally decorated Christmas tree at the entrance, but unfortunately it did not appear in the photo.
Well, now about the food itself. We started with sea buckthorn (140 rubles) and strawberry tea (180 rubles), because we were very cold.
Then came the turn of the Crudo pizza (mozzarella, mascarpone, Parma ham) for 450 rubles. The verdict is very tasty and very, very satisfying. It is better for girls to take not even for two, but for four! Well, a man, of course, can easily and alone cope with her.
Then I paid tribute to the hot eggplant "alla parmigiano" (250 rubles) - I adore them, although for many it is "too fat". after all, eggplants very quickly absorb oil when frying, and if they are also abundantly seasoned with cheese ... In general, dear adherents of a healthy diet - this is not for you, I say right away. Maria preferred a lighter and healthier dish - tagliatelle pasta with cuttlefish ink, shrimp and artichoke (320 rubles). She liked it too.
And our companion was brought a wonderful juicy chicken "alla devila" with baked potatoes (380 rubles), which he instantly dealt with!
We also wanted to try tiramisu and panna cotta, but ... alas, we were simply physically unable to do it. So next time. But we tried strawberry frulatti (milk, ice cream, strawberry) - 130 rubles, and this, of course, is a celebration of the soul and the name day of the heart. Moreover, in such a wonderful ceramic glass!
By the way, Osteria is open 24 hours a day and you can have breakfast there at any time. The menu always includes cheese cakes with sour cream (190 rubles), oatmeal or rice porridge with apple / raspberry / strawberry (180 rubles), omelets with salmon / mozzarella and tomatoes (240 rubles), etc. etc.
In general, friends, we recommend to go to Osteria numero UNO ... during the New Year holidays, for example. It is better to reserve tables for the evening in advance, just in case.

The main food in Osteria numero Uno are three Italian chefs working in a team at once: the chef Antonio Baratto, the pizza maker Gianluca Rolla and the pastiolo Javani Pinto. Gianluca and Javani were specially discharged from Italy for the project. Antonio is partly the same: for the last two years he and his wife worked in a restaurant in Mexico (before that he lived in Moscow for eighteen years and was the chef of the Sirena restaurant) and returned to Russia a few months ago to work in this particular osteria. The restaurant has two kitchens: an open one, fenced off by a bar counter, where you can sit and watch how pizza and pasta are prepared, and an ordinary one - everything else is prepared there under Antonio's control. The menu consists mainly of traditional Italian dishes from different regions: pasta, pizza, focaccia, soups, risottos, salads, snacks, hot dishes and desserts. There is Gusto pizza with gorgonzola, pear and walnuts, minestrone, pork ribs, pig ears and savoy cabbage bottomaggio and ricotta cannoli. There is also a separate takeaway and delivery menu. Delivered within the Moscow Ring Road, there are three tariffs: "Our District" (within two stations from "Trubnaya" and "Tsvetnoy Boulevard"), "Garden Ring" and the Moscow Ring Road.
Now the osteria does not have a license for alcohol, as soon as it appears, 250 bottles of wine and other alcohol will be put in the wine cabinet behind the counter of the open kitchen. Now you can come here with your own, paying 500 rubles for the "Cork" service, regardless of the strength of the drink and the size of the company. By March, when the business center opens, there will be dinners in the osteria. Also, a little later, a cookery will start working, in which they will sell pasta, bread, marinades, desserts and everything else that is convenient to take away from the restaurant prepared in the restaurant's kitchen.
So far, the restaurant is open from 10 am until the last customer, but from next week it plans to start working around the clock.

So we're going to have to work hard, especially since the osteria will be open 24 hours a day. But we have a professional team, I don't have to live here for days. As far as possible, I will go out into the hall and communicate with the guests. I like it. But when there is too much work, I cannot break free. I need to be in the kitchen, this is my place. " |
