A place with great service and delicious food)

Background. I got carried away by watching videos on YouTube about Korea, the food there looked so delicious that I decided to definitely try it) Thanks to Kostya Pak for the tip on delicious dishes)

I noticed the restaurant a long time ago, walked by and saw that it had opened. From the metro - literally 30 meters.

At the entrance we were greeted by a friendly administrator who made us sit at a table by the window.

The interior is very simple, but at the same time interesting - brick, leather sofas, wooden tables with holes in the middle. I suspect that they put a Chinese "samovar" there, or just hot pans with meat. The rest of the time they are closed with a special lid. Above the tables, there are cool hoods, which can often be seen in the video from Seoul - supposedly you can smoke with them without disturbing others. But, as Nikita mentioned, they do not function, tk. not allowed by law)))

I liked the moss picture very much)

We chose for a long time. The main dish I came for is TokPokki. They took gimpab and seafood soup to him. In general, I wanted to try more, but the portions of 500-600 g were stopped)

The waiter asks the level of the desired spiciness of the dish - this is a plus.

The order was traditionally served with snacks - pickled daikon (it seems it was he, a terribly tough thing), kimchi (standard sauerkraut, not even spicy), pickled quail eggs, seaweed, pickled hot jalapeno peppers and sweet potatoes (soft something similar to pumpkin, carrots and potatoes at the same time).

The first was the seafood soup. Although relatively simple, but very tasty - rich, spicy and served while still boiling in a special cast iron on a stand. At our request they brought us another portion of rice, one with the default soup. I recommend the soup unambiguously and exactly for two people) The only thing I might not like is that mussels with shells are floating in the soup, but this did not cause me any discomfort. But not peeled shrimp - yes. Of course, I understand that they are there for the broth, and not to eat. But somehow ...

Gimpab - almost Japanese rolls, but some more "home" version. The filling contains crab sticks, carrots and tuna. Tasty, but nothing unusual) I took it purely for the sake of interest, are they different from my homemade ones)

Tok Pokki - something like "dumplings" made of rice flour with vegetables in a sweet (most likely Teriyaki or so) sauce. Our dish also included dumplings - gedza with minced meat. This dish is present both in Korea and China in the form of street fast food, if I'm not mistaken) A very unexpected dough structure - like a rubber one. If you ate spring rolls, then you should quite imagine this :)

In general, the dishes are very tasty, very good. Next time I will ask you to make TokPokki sharper)

The service is really good - every time our dishes were emptied, they instantly disappeared from the table. Also we were served fruit drinks periodically. When we finished and asked for the bill, we were asked if we liked everything. Even twice :)

And when we left the waiters, who did not serve our table, said goodbye to us with a smile and invited us to come again :)

Ap. I forgot about the ladies' room. It is common, located on the right side of the room. Clean, there are rag towels, which is nice, because paper dries the skin strongly. There is also a large all-wall mirror, if you know what I mean;)

A Korean restaurant Hite has opened in Moscow. Its owner - Korean Lee Myung Ding - already had experience in the restaurant business: he owns the Kimchee restaurant on Profsoyuznaya; not to be confused with the Kimchi chain, whose restaurants are located on Belorusskaya, Ploschad Revolyutsii, Serpukhovskaya and in the Moscow City complex. The chef from the same place, from Kimchee, is Korean Han An Pil.

Now the city has at least a few places with Korean barbecues (Sammi cafe on Yugo-Zapadnaya and Silla on Vorobyovy Gory), but Hite is the first place where visitors can cook on their own at some of the tables with built-in copper hoods above them, and even within the Third Ring. Two floors, modern interior, barbecue. A real Korean restaurant, such in Seoul, you can find it at every turn.

For a national restaurant in Moscow, good interior design is already a rarity. Here, everything is done in such a way that you can easily imagine any restaurant of modern cuisine within these walls. The interior was thought out by the owner himself, who is an architect and designer. Nothing complicated: wooden tables, even forms, lamps in the form of hanging bottles.

As they say in the restaurant, Hite was opened primarily for Koreans, of whom there are many in Moscow. The name was chosen specifically so that it became familiar to them - everyone knows Hite in South Korea, this is the most popular beer. It is, of course, also on the menu. You need to book a table in advance, as Koreans seem to understand the signs well, and in the evenings it is jam-packed. It is better to come in company, simply because trying several dishes will not work otherwise - the portions are large, which is typical for Korean cuisine.

Every dish that you can cook yourself on the barbecue is marked with a light. A choice of fresh or marinated pork and beef: for example, samgyeopsal (pork belly), tedi moxal (marinated pork in a sweet sauce, with sen kalbi (beef ribs) and a dozen more options. After the fire, the meat should be cut into pieces and put on a lettuce leaf , add sauces and garlic, wrap. The barbecue menu is not limited: there are pancakes with kimchi, fried anchovies, six options for kuksu soup, fried rice with kimchi, bulgogi (marinated fried beef), champon (thick spicy soup with meat, seafood, vegetables or all at once), ramen. Many dishes are served with gochujang sauces and from soy paste.Banchang is traditionally brought with each order - small cold snacks such as kimchi, pickled soy sprouts and zucchini, pickles. The menu is similar to any Korean restaurant, features it is not, only everything is very tasty here. In this case it is not cheap food, but it is definitely worth it. Hite may be the best Korean place at the moment. ohm within the Third Ring.
