Chicken with carrots and onions is a daily dish. Such a chicken can be prepared from chicken and small chicken pieces with bones. Most often, in this way my mother cooked the fish, and it turned out to be very tasty and juicy, I decided to experiment and cook chicken fillet according to this recipe, it turned out a very worthy and tasty dish. Chicken stewed with carrots and onions is soft, juicy and very aromatic.

Composition:

  • Chicken breast - 800 g (I used chicken breast, but you can take any chicken pieces)
  • Carrots - 3 pcs.
  • Onions - 4 pcs.
  • Tomato paste - 2 tbsp. spoons
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper - to taste

Cooking:

Wash and peel the vegetables.

Cut the onion into small cubes. There should be a lot of onions.

Grate peeled carrots on a coarse grater.

Heat a little vegetable oil in a pan and lay out the vegetables. Immediately add a little salt to the vegetables so that they start up the juice and do not burn. Simmer vegetables until soft, with occasional stirring, for about 15 minutes. Then put tomato paste on the vegetables.

Mix thoroughly and leave on the stove for another 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, turn off the heat and let the vegetables cool.

At this time, wash the chicken, remove excess fat and skin. Each fillet is cut lengthwise into 2 parts and slightly beat off on both sides.

Season each fillet with salt and pepper on both sides. Instead of salt, you can use soy sauce. To do this, simply pour the chopped chicken fillet 2-3 tbsp. tablespoons of soy sauce and mix thoroughly so that the sauce evenly misses each piece of chicken. Soy sauce will add a special taste and aroma to the chicken, as well as make it even softer and juicier.

Lubricate the baking dish with a small amount of vegetable oil and put half the vegetables on the bottom.

On top of the vegetables, lay the beaten chicken fillet evenly.

Put the remaining vegetables on top of the chicken and spread them evenly over the entire surface.

Send chicken and vegetables to the oven preheated to 200 degrees for 40 minutes, covering the form with a lid or tightening the foil.

After 40 minutes, the chicken stewed with carrots and onions is ready, you can serve immediately. You can choose any side dish, but, in my opinion, rice perfectly complements such a chicken.

  Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan, lay out the chicken slices and fry on both sides until a light golden hue appears.

Tips:
