These honey buns are quick to make, so they can be easily made for breakfast. I cooked them for the first time. And now, having tasted it, I will say that next time I will definitely add lemon or orange zest to them, or maybe raisins. Honey buns are delicious to eat with honey butter. The glass used 200 ml. Flour can go a little more or a little less, you will feel it when you mix it. It took me exactly 3 glasses for the right consistency.

Good day, dear friends!

My mom is learning to work on a PC, or to be more precise, work with e-mail. Form letters in Word format and send.
So, she chose me as the recipient of such letters. So I already have a separate folder on my desktop and her letters, and they contain recipes with photos right away. Very comfortably. It's amazing how I myself have not come up with such an idea before, otherwise I write everything down the old fashioned way in culinary books))))

So, we need to warm up the milk (I use a microwave oven for this) and send dry yeast into it (there is 1 pack with a weight of 7 grams). If you use fresh yeast, you get 25 grams. We send sugar to the yeast and set it aside, wait for the reaction to start.

Now let's prepare the other ingredients. To do this, sift the flour (according to the recipe, 450 grams is used, in my opinion the dough is sticky and you can add more flour, but the buns themselves are very soft), prepare butter (I used it right from the refrigerator), honey and an egg (plus another yolk).

As soon as the yeast has risen, we knead the dough. It turns out to be sticky, but I always leave it that way. And we set our dough aside (I left it on the table) for 40 minutes.
From the resulting dough, it is necessary to form the same number of balls and send them to the mold. I have a glass one, it is very convenient, since we will also pour honey oil on top. We leave the balls on the table for 20 minutes, so that the buns rise.
Meanwhile, the oven is heated to 180 degrees Celsius. As the buns have risen, we send them to the oven for 25-35 minutes.

Now we are preparing honey oil. To do this, mix honey and butter. I prepare honey oil right away, it is on the table and therefore is already soft.

When our buns are ready, we take them out of the oven and immediately grease them with honey oil. They quickly absorb oil and become very soft and delicate.

  • In warm (35-40 C) water, add a spoonful of sugar, dry yeast and two tablespoons of flour from the total amount of flour according to the recipe. Stir, cover and leave for 15 minutes to activate the yeast. A characteristic foam should appear.
  • Add the remaining sugar (3 tablespoons), salt, vanilla sugar, vegetable oil, an egg and warm milk or kefir (in my case, this is kefir). Mix everything well.
  • Sift half of the flour there and knead the sticky dough.
  • Add slightly melted butter and mix it with your hands into the dough.
  • Add the rest of the flour and knead the elastic, non-sticky dough.
  • Put the dough in a bowl, having previously slightly greased it with vegetable oil, pluck it and leave it in a warm place for one and a half to two hours. The dough should expand well.
  • Divide the dough into 12 equal balls. Roll each ball into a cake, grease with vegetable or butter, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon (optional), fold the cake into a roll, fold it in half and make a cut with a knife in the place of the fold, but not completely, unfold the cut parts with a cut up. It turns out a bun.
  • We put the buns on a baking sheet at a great distance from each other, cover them and leave them for 15-20 minutes for proofing.
  • We bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 30 minutes until golden brown. Be guided by your oven.
  • While the buns are still very hot, generously grease them with liquid honey. If the honey is thick, then warm it up a little in the microwave.
Thanks to honey, the buns are simply fabulous and, moreover, they shine very beautifully. Try this delicious!

Video recipe:

Bun dough:

  • Water - 120 ml (35-40 Ć)
  • Milk (or kefir) - 120 ml (35-40 Ć)
  • Sugar - 4 tbsp. l. (1 in dough + 3 in dough)
  • Vanilla sugar - 10 g
  • Dry yeast - 1.5 tsp
  • Salt - 0.5 tsp
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Butter - 60 g
  • Eggs - 1 pc.
  • Flour - 500 g (± 30 g)
Additionally:
Butter or vegetable oil + sugar + cinnamon \u003d filling
Honey for impregnating ready-made buns - about 150-200 g

Pour warm milk into a bucket of a bread machine, add softened butter and an egg, mix slightly.

Set the "Dough" mode (for me - 1 hour 30 minutes). You can knead the dough by hand: sift the flour, make a depression. Pour yeast and vanillin into the well. Melt honey and combine with milk, softened butter, add egg and salt, mix well. Pour this mixture gradually into the groove in the flour, kneading the dough. The dough should not be tight, a little sticky. Leave the dough in a warm place for 1 hour to approach. And this is what the dough looks like after kneading in a bread maker.

Cover the baking sheet with parchment and grease with vegetable oil. Form the dough into round buns and place on the parchment. I got 14 buns. To grease the buns, melt the honey and mix with butter, stir until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Grease all the buns with this mixture.

To sprinkle the buns, grind the peanuts in a coffee grinder or simply chop with a knife.

Sprinkle the greased rolls with chopped peanuts.

Bake honey buns in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for about 25-35 minutes - until lightly browned.

Allow extraordinarily tasty, fragrant honey buns to cool down and can be served with milk or tea. It is very tasty to eat these buns with jam or butter. I cut the buns horizontally in half, not completely and grease with butter or jam.
