Semolina is just a storehouse of vitamins and trace elements that are very useful for our body, regardless of the season. Semolina is especially useful for children. BUT, as you know, not all children love to eat semolina porridge, so mannik is like a lifesaver for moms and dads who cannot force children to eat semolina porridge.

Of course you will like this cake even more when you find out how simple and easy it is to prepare it. The basis of this pie, of course, is semolina and a very modest set of products that can almost always be found in any home, these are flour, sugar, eggs and butter.

Ingredients for manna.

  • 1 cup semolina
  • 1 glass of regular kefir
  • 2 eggs
  • 150 grams of granulated sugar
  • 100 grams of butter
  • 1 packet of vanilla
  • salt
  • baking powder (if not, you can use regular soda).

Cooking process.

Pour the semolina into a container where we will prepare the dough.

Pour a glass of kefir into the semolina. Kefir is suitable for almost any. But the fatter the better, the more magnificent and tender our manna will be. It is important that the kefir is not cold, keep it at room temperature for about an hour and after that it can be used to make manna.

And so well mix semolina with kefir so that there are no lumps and dry pieces of semolina left. Now that the semolina with kefir is mixed, leave the mixture alone for about an hour. It takes time for the semolina to absorb the kefir and swell a little and become soft.

Now let's use the rest of the prepared products, namely butter, eggs, sugar and baking powder. The oil should be very soft. Soft enough to be easily kneaded with a fork.

Knead the butter with a fork and add sugar in small portions. Drive a couple of eggs into the butter with sugar, and mix everything well again. Now that the sugar is almost all dissolved, you can add baking powder, it will take about one and a half teaspoons. Mix everything well again and set aside for 30 minutes.

Now let's prepare a form for baking manna. The best form for a manna is a silicone mold. In this form, this cake turns out to be just awesomely tasty. But don't be discouraged if you don't have such a silicone baking dish. Our grandmothers and mothers prepared manniks in ordinary pans, when no one even heard about silicone yet.

Now we take what you are going to bake the pie in and grease the entire area well with butter. It is necessary to lubricate not only the bottom but also the sides.

When an hour has passed since we set aside the semolina with kefir to infuse, we can continue to continue to cook our wonderful pie.

Combine both semi-finished products together and mix well. After that, the resulting dough can be sent to a pre-greased baking dish.

We heat the oven to 200 degrees and reduce the heating to about 180. Now you can send the manna to the oven so that it bakes well from all sides. The cooking time is approximately 20-30 minutes.

When the manna is ready, you need to take it out of the oven, put it on a dish and serve. It is very good if sour cream and jam are served to the manna. Many people simply pour sour cream on top of the manna, and strawberry or cherry jam is poured on top of the sour cream. It turns out very tasty and appetizing.

How to cook manna in a multicooker

Progress does not stand still, and almost every house already has a multicooker. And what is most interesting, few people know how to use this miracle oven, but in vain. I suggest you cook a manna in a slow cooker.

Ingredients.

  • Semolina glass.
  • Flour glass.
  • Kefir glass.
  • Sugar glass.
  • Eggs 2 pieces.
  • Raisins.
  • Vanilla sugar.
  • Butter.
  • Baking dough.

Cooking process:

In a bowl, mix semolina and kefir. Kefir is not cold. Mix everything well and let it brew for about an hour. During this time, the semolina will be well saturated with kefir and will be ready for baking.

While the semolina is soaked, you can do eggs and sugar. Mix sugar and eggs in one bowl. Stir well so that the sugar can completely dissolve.

After an hour, combine the semolina with the eggs and stir well. The next step is to gradually add flour and also mix everything well until smooth. It is very good at this stage to use a whisk or mixer at low speeds.

Once everything is well mixed, add baking powder and vanilla. Mix well again and set aside for 5-10 minutes.

Grease the multicooker bowl well with oil. It is important to lubricate not only the bottom but also the walls of the bowl, too, do not forget to grease with oil.

Now we can send our dough to the multicooker.

Top with raisins or dried fruits, if desired.

We put the multicooker on the baking mode, the cooking time is 40-50 minutes.

After a specified time, we take the manna out of the multicooker and sprinkle with the prepared powdered sugar. Now we can say that the manna is completely ready, you can serve it and drink tea. Enjoy your tea.

After the allotted time, our mannik is completely ready. Here is such a simple and quick recipe for making manna on kefir in the microwave.

Well, what a miracle this decoy is! If you want - cook porridge, if you want - bake a pie. However, not everyone loves porridge, but the pie will certainly be appreciated by everyone who has tasted it. After all, manna on kefir is a simple and beloved cake based on semolina, which is made from wheat and serves as an excellent basis for baking. Mannik on kefir is simply an irreplaceable thing for us, who are always suffering from a lack of time for modern women. The main ingredients of manna are, of course, semolina itself, and also sugar, eggs, butter or vegetable oil, baking powder, flour is sometimes added, as well as other ingredients that give taste and aroma - nuts, poppy seeds, raisins, apples, berries, etc. ..

It is very simple to prepare such a pie, but first you need to decide what kind of manna you want to cook, you need, so to speak, to choose the base component of the manna, because, as you know, it is prepared on different dairy products: milk, sour cream, kefir, yogurt or yogurt. Mannik can be baked according to dozens of recipes, and each housewife adds her own ingredients during the cooking process to give her favorite cake a new taste. The most popular among other recipes is kefir manna, it is also called classic, most housewives use it. It is kefir that allows you to get high, lush, porous and tasty manna. Therefore, if you want to practice making all kinds of manna, prepare a manna on kefir. The main secret of getting this delicate and tasty cake is to soak semolina in kefir so that it is saturated with moisture and swells well. It is left in the liquid for 30-60 minutes, or longer (otherwise the semolina will not disperse well, and the grains in the finished cake will crunch unpleasantly on the teeth). Then all the other ingredients are added, mixed thoroughly. The finished dough is sent to a baking dish, pre-greased with butter and sprinkled with semolina, and placed in an oven preheated to 180-200 ° C for 40 minutes. That, in fact, is all. And now, from theory to practice.

Mannik on kefir "Classic"

Ingredients:
200 g semolina (glass),
500 ml of kefir,
3 eggs,
100 g sugar
a pinch of salt,
1 bag of vanilla sugar
10 g baking powder (or ½ teaspoon baking soda),
butter for greasing the mold.

Preparation:
Add semolina to kefir and leave to swell for 1 hour. Beat the eggs, adding salt and sugar, using a mixer. Then add vanilla sugar and baking powder (or baking soda) to the mixture. Combine the egg mass and kefir with semolina and mix thoroughly. Pour the finished dough into a greased pan and bake at 190 ° C for 40 minutes. Use a match or toothpick to test the doneness of a pie. If the match (toothpick) is dry, the manna is ready.

To give the cake a beautiful appearance, you can sprinkle it with powdered sugar, grease it with fondant, or cover it with icing.

Mannik on kefir with flour

This interesting manna turns out to be very tender. The whole secret is that the baking powder enters into a fermentation reaction with kefir, not while kneading the dough, but in the oven.

Ingredients:
1 stack. semolina,
2 stacks kefir,
2 eggs,
100 g wheat flour
200 g granulated sugar
20 g mayonnaise
20 g butter
10 g baking powder
vanillin or cardamom - to taste and desire.

Preparation:
Combine semolina, flour and sugar. In a separate container, combine eggs, kefir and mayonnaise, and then combine the two mixtures. Let the dough stand for 1 hour. After that, melt the butter on the stove, cool it, add baking powder and pour into the dough. Place the baking dish in an oven preheated to 180 ° C for 1 minute, then remove it and grease with butter. Sprinkle with semolina to prevent the cake from burning. Pour the dough into a mold and place in the oven for 40 minutes. Then take out the finished manna from the oven, let it cool down a bit and enjoy a delicious dessert.

If the previous recipes seemed too simple for you, and you are not averse to experimenting, you have a lot of room for creativity. For example, add a new ingredient to your taste before setting it for baking: fresh berries, poppy seeds, chocolate, lemon (orange) zest, raisins, nuts or apples.

Larisa Shuftaykina

Mannik on kefir is one of the first pies from which mothers begin to teach their daughters to cook pastries. In fact, baking a simple, but amazingly airy and very tasty manna in the oven is quite easy. Especially if you have on hand a step-by-step recipe with a photo that I will offer you. However, there will be more than one baking option. I love variety, so I own a whole collection of different desserts. In addition to the classic recipe, keep crumbly lemon, an unusual version of "Zebra", wet manna, the dough of which is kneaded on a fermented milk product.

I have a few more cake recipes -. Are you interested? I invite you to another page of the site, go and get acquainted.

Manna dishes matter. I attribute all my past failures to the fact that I used the wrong baking dish. In a silicone mold, you almost always get a perfect semolina cake. In glass dishes, sometimes insufficient air comes out. A good manna cooked in an old, worn-out frying pan, apparently due to the fact that it is perfectly calcined.

Classic mannik on kefir - very tasty and airy

The most delicious manna I know. It will definitely work out, even if you have been constantly failing before. A fluffy, airy cake according to the classic recipe will delight your home, and you can safely go further in your experiments with baking options.

Take:

  • Kefir is a glass.
  • Granulated sugar - 150 gr.
  • Eggs are a couple.
  • Baking powder - 15 gr.
  • Vanillin - a pinch.
  • Semolina - a glass.
  • Oil - 100 gr.
  • Salt.

Step by step recipe with photo

Take the dishes deeper, add cereals, pour in the kefir product. I recommend taking fatty kefir, this will affect the taste of the baked goods. Stir with a spoon until smooth. Set aside for 60 minutes. During this period, semolina will absorb kefir and become soft.

In a separate bowl, combine the soft butter and sugar. Take the oil out of the refrigerator in advance so that you do not have to quickly soften it in the microwave. I advise you to add granulated sugar in parts, it will be more convenient to mix the contents.

Beat in eggs one at a time. Rub the dough again in good faith.

Put baking powder last. Stir and proceed to the next step.

Spread butter in a circle. Proceed straight with your hands, smearing the entire area.

Combine the semolina with the egg mass, stir. Transfer to form.

Preheat the oven to 200 o C. Put the pie, immediately reduce the temperature to 180 o C. Bake for 20-25 minutes, no more. You will see a beautiful appetizing crust - take it out and check the readiness with a toothpick. Return if necessary and hold for a little more.

Boil tea, pour sour cream over the dessert, any jam and invite your household to the table.

I want to warn you that the semolina pie never rises very much. If you read that the mass will increase 2-3 times or more, do not believe it. This is not a biscuit. An increase in dough by one and a half times is the norm. This is a lush manna. But it is always crumbly and deliciously delicious.

Delicious mannik Zebra on kefir

By adding different ingredients, you can not only change the taste, but also change the appearance of the cake. According to this recipe, air manna is prepared with cocoa. It can be baked completely chocolate, but kids love the alternation of dark and white.

  • A glass of flour, granulated sugar, kefir, semolina.
  • Oil - 100 gr.
  • Cocoa powder 0 2 small spoons.
  • Cinnamon - ½ teaspoon.
  • Eggs are a couple.
  • Soda - ½ teaspoon.

How to cook a lush manna:

  1. As before, fill the cereal with kefir to swell. Set aside for an hour.
  2. Beat eggs with sweetener.
  3. Melt butter, let cool slightly. Pour into semolina. Add eggs.
  4. Transfer the rest of the ingredients to a bowl. You don't have to extinguish the soda. Stir the mixture, break the flour lumps. The test mass will turn out to be quite liquid.
  5. Divide into two bowls. Pour the cocoa and cinnamon into a bowl with less dough. If the mass seems too thick, dilute with a spoonful of kefir.
  6. How to make a zebra? Everything is simple here. Oil the bottom and sides of the mold. Pour 4 tablespoons of white dough into the middle.
  7. Pour chocolate into the center of the white mass. The dough will begin to spread, forming a random pattern similar to the color of a zebra.
  8. Love to draw - make any drawing on the surface of the manna.
  9. Bake the pie at 190-200 ° C. Baking time 30-40 minutes. If you want to check how the manna is baked, pierce it with a toothpick.

Delicious, airy lemon manna

You will need:

  • Kefir - a glass (it is permissible to replace with yogurt, sour cream, fermented baked milk).
  • Semolina is a glass.
  • Flour - the same amount.
  • Eggs - 3 pcs.
  • Lemon (take the zest from a whole lemon and measure out the juice from half of the fruit).
  • Granulated sugar - 1-1.5 cups.
  • Vanillin is a standard sachet.
  • Oil - 100 gr.
  • Baking powder - sachet.

How to cook:

  1. Beforehand, get the oil to warm up to room temperature.
  2. Mix cereal with kefir, leave to swell for an hour.
  3. When the food is ready for use, beat the eggs into a bowl of sugar, beat well with a mixer (whisk).
  4. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Make sure it does not boil, it is just hot, otherwise the eggs will curl.
  5. Pour the butter into the kefir mixture, stir.
  6. Finely grate the lemon zest. To do this, do not remove the peel from the fruit, rub the whole citrus. Please note that you do not need to rub the white skin, it gives bitterness.
  7. Add the zest to the dough, then pour in the juice from half a lemon. Stir the contents again in good faith.
  8. Vanillin, baking powder and flour are the last to be added to the dough. Knead the dough like pancakes.
  9. Grease a silicone mold, pour over the dough. Send to bake at 180 ° C for 50 minutes. Powder the finished baked goods, decorate with berries.

Wet manna on kefir in a slow cooker

Not everyone loves airy baked goods, so the recipe for wet manna will come in handy. The composition of the pie contains honey, thanks to which the pastries are very tasty. But honey makes the dough heavier, deprives it of special friability.

Prepare:

  • Semolina, kefir, sifted flour - in a glass.
  • Honey - 2 large spoons.
  • Sugar - ¾ glass.
  • Milk - 200 ml.
  • Egg.
  • Oil - 50 gr.
  • Vanilla sugar - pack.
  • Baking soda - teaspoon

How to bake:

  1. Leave the semolina, drenched in kefir, soak for an hour.
  2. Combine eggs with sand, beat with a whisk. Pour in melted butter.
  3. Having mixed well, mix with the swollen semolina. Add baking soda. Knead a not tough dough.
  4. Pour the dough into a multicooker bowl. Place on Baking. Time on the timer is 50 minutes.
  5. Dilute honey with warm milk. 10 minutes before the timer turns off, open the multicooker, pour in the honey milk. Close the lid, finish cooking.

Video recipe with a recipe for a delicious, fluffy, crumbly and airy manna on kefir. May it always be delicious for you!

Today I suggest you try a delicious semolina pie for dessert - this is a manna. Delicate, crumbly, with a light vanilla aroma and a crispy crust. It is prepared in an elementary way, from all available and very inexpensive ingredients. This recipe is classic and uses only basic ingredients. Their proportions should not be changed, since the recipe has been proven over the years and you can only spoil everything. But with additional ingredients, you can experiment however you want. For example, you can add dried fruits, raisins and nuts, or you can make a chocolate manna with cocoa. What I also like about this recipe is that manna can be given to young children (from 2 years old). I will not say that the product turns out to be very dietary, but it also contains nothing harmful. If you are preparing a manna for children, then you can remove the baking powder for the dough from the ingredients and halve the amount of oil - these products are not very useful. The mannik will turn out, of course, not so lush, but for kids - what they need. And you can serve a simple classic manna with jam or fresh berries and fruits.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp. kefir;
  • 2 tbsp. decoys;
  • 1 tbsp. Sahara;
  • 150 g butter at room temperature;
  • 3 eggs;
  • 3 tsp baking powder for dough;
  • a pinch of salt;
  • 2 small pinches of vanilla.

The recipe for the classic manna on kefir

1. Pour kefir into a bowl for dough and add semolina. It's better to use 1.5 cups for a start. From my own experience, I noticed that semolina somehow swells in different ways. For a glass of cereals from one manufacturer, you need 1 glass of kefir, and from another, you may need 1.5-2 glasses of kefir. Of course, the thickness of the kefir itself also plays a role here. We mix.

2. Leave for 5-10 minutes while we deal with other ingredients. The semolina should absorb some of the liquid and our "porridge" will thicken. In the step-by-step photo, the mass is as it should be: it is not liquid, but not dry either. If the porridge has thickened, but it mixes easily - that's it, proceed to the next step. If the mass turned out to be very thick, dry and dense, add a little more kefir.

3. Put the butter into another bowl and grind it with sugar using a fork. It is very important that the oil is at room temperature, so it is much easier to work with it.

I also want to say a little about butter. It is better to take a not very fatty oil, somewhere around 72%, so that the manna does not turn out to be too fatty. And yet - do not be afraid if during the baking process you see a thin layer of oil "boiling" from above. It will boil away, and an appetizing and slightly crispy golden crust will remain on top of the manna.

4. Break eggs into a bowl with butter and sugar. Pour in 3 tsp. baking powder for the dough, add 2 small pinches of vanillin.

5. Mix everything thoroughly with a fork.

6. Pour the egg-oil mixture to the semolina with kefir.

7. Stir with a whisk so that there are no lumps. Please note: the mass should turn out to be liquidish, in consistency it resembles biscuit dough.

8. Lightly grease the baking dish with vegetable oil. I use a detachable mold with a diameter of 20 cm and a height of 6.5 cm. It fits this amount of ingredients just perfect.

9. Pour the dough into a mold and send it to an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 35-45 minutes (depending on the height of the mold). Mannik rises quite a bit. Therefore, one should not be particularly afraid that he will run away from the form.

10. We take the finished manna out of the oven, let it cool down a little, then remove it from the mold. Despite its delicate structure, the manna jumps out of shape remarkably.
