The combination of potatoes with meat is a classic. There are many options for preparing these ingredients: baking, stewing, frying, with the addition of spices and herbs. If the dish needs to be prepared quickly, instead of a piece of meat, you can use stew.

I offer a simple and satisfying recipe for cooking potatoes with stew in a slow cooker. This is my second attempt at cooking potatoes with this kind of meat.

A prerequisite and a guarantee of a delicious dish is a high-quality stew. The type of meat from which the stew is made is not important, but the quality plays the main role. My first dish was completely spoiled by stew, bought in the store for a rather big price. Therefore, look for housewives who make the stew themselves, or cook it yourself. Stew is a very convenient thing, at the right time open the jar and prepare a delicious dish.

Prepare all ingredients. Peel and wash onions and carrots. Slicing form - any to your taste. My onions are diced and carrots are cut into thin cubes.

Peel, wash and cut the potatoes into large pieces.

Put the frozen fat from the stew in the multicooker bowl, heat up and add the onions and carrots.

Fry vegetables in the "fry" mode or any suitable mode for frying until transparent.

Add chopped potatoes to the multicooker bowl.

Add stew to the potatoes.

Add spices: bay leaf and pepper. Pour in boiled water. It is better to add salt just before the end of cooking, since the stew may already be well salted, and it is difficult to guess the amount in advance.

Close the lid of the multicooker, set the "quenching" mode for 40 minutes and do other things.

This is quite possible if you cook pasta and stew in a slow cooker. Ingredients:

  • Pasta - 1 pack (450 grams),
  • Onions 1 - 2 pieces,
  • Stew - 1 large jar,
  • Salt to taste
  • Spice,
  • Bay leaf,
  • Water.

Cooking process:

First, chop the onions into small pieces. If you want to add carrots and make a dish like, only with stew - please, it's a matter of taste.

Put the fat from the stew in the multicooker bowl and fry the onion on this fat in the "baking" mode. If this fat is not enough, then pour in vegetable oil.

When the onions are fried, lay out the stew, and fry it a little too, so that it breaks slightly into pieces. Take good quality stew, where there is more meat, and not fat and films.

Then we take pasta of any shape, horns, pasta or vermicelli and pour them into the multicooker bowl.

Mix the stew and pasta. Pour water, enough to cover all the pasta, as in the photo. Add salt, spices to taste, bay leaf. You can add any greens.

Here we switch to the "Pilaf" mode and cook pasta and stew in a slow cooker until the signal. On this, in fact, our participation in the preparation ended. In the meantime, you can make a salad, or go about your business.

When the multicooker notifies us of readiness, turn it off and sit down at the table.

The pasta turned out to be fried. Stir gently and place on plates. They didn't even boil, but turned out just right, delicious and mouth-watering!
