How to decorate Easter cakes with your own hands? This question already worries those who are going to bake Easter cakes. After all, the holiday is getting closer, and very soon we will be captured by the whirlwind of the pre-holiday excitement. Have you noticed how every year, 2-3 weeks before Easter, different Easter-themed goods appear on supermarket shelves? But already a week before the holiday, the choice of Easter decor is not at all so great, since thrifty housewives prepare in advance. And what to do when you do not have time to prepare, and the design of Easter cakes is definitely included in your plans? A great way out is to make decorations for cakes with your own hands!

I talked about how to bake an Easter cake at home in. I really hope that it was useful and you were inspired by the idea of trying to cook Easter cakes according to old recipes. Let's share our impressions and results in the comments and our cooking groups.

How to decorate Easter cakes with your own hands using edible decorative elements

Beautiful Easter cakes are made by those who are ready to spend not so much money as time and imagination. In general, the basis of almost all edible Easter decor is sugar and dyes. An exception is the decor made of dried fruits, nuts and chocolate. Consider how to decorate Easter cake using the simplest and most affordable ingredients.

Cake decoration made of dough

Experienced housewives make exquisite decorations from cake dough. For example, my grandmother always decorates Easter cakes with small curly crosses. Such decorations are prepared from the same dough as the cakes themselves. You can make braids, spirals, letters and flowers, leaves and petals. Dyes are also sometimes added to the dough for decoration.

In order for your jewelry to look beautiful after baking, you need to proceed as follows:

 • let the cake rise
 • cut out the decorations and attach them to the top of the cake with protein
 • grease the cake together with the decorations with a beaten egg or butter
 • pour over ready-made and still hot cakes with syrup

You can also bake a dough decor separately from the cake, and then attach it to the finished cake. This way you can be sure of the result, because in any case the decorations made from yeast dough will rise during baking.

Decorating cakes with glaze

Easter cakes are also traditionally decorated with white glaze. It would seem that a mixture of proteins and sugar could be simpler. However, not everyone gets a good glaze. You can often see Easter cakes, from which the glaze is just glass, leaving sloppy streaks and excess moisture. This is the result if you add too much moisture to the glaze. Also, the glaze, which was simply smeared on the cake, does not look very nice. This option is usually found on mass-produced commercial Easter cakes.

A plentifully watered cake looks much neater and more appetizing, the icing on which had time to harden well and did not spread too much. The most important thing in the preparation of the glaze is to observe the proportions of the ingredients so that the glaze is sure to freeze. I will describe in detail how just such a fondant for Easter cake is prepared, and also present to your attention several useful recipes.

Icing sugar for cakes

Mix one cup of finely ground powdered sugar with 4 tablespoons of boiled water and add color and flavor to taste. For example, I really like the rum and almond flavor additives. The mixture must be mixed well and heated to about 40 degrees. The proportions of water and powder are approximate. If it turns out too liquid, add more powdered sugar, if it's too thick, add water. You can also add lemon juice for a richer taste. Put icing on the cakes immediately after cooking.

Sugar-protein icing for cakes

The recipe for sugar and protein icing for Easter cakes is equally popular. It is only important to make sure of the quality of chicken eggs so that the delicacy turns out to be safe for health. For cooking, take 1 protein and beat it with 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. Then gradually add 1 cup of finely ground powdered sugar to the protein. The thickness of the glaze can be adjusted with the amount of lemon juice and powdered sugar. It is imperative to use such glaze immediately so that it does not have time to harden.

Fruit icing for cakes

Fruit glaze is prepared using fruit and berry juices, which makes it possible to play with its color and taste. Beat the egg white (1 pc.) Into a strong foam, add about 1 cup of finely ground icing sugar, and then about 3 tablespoons of fruit or berry juice. The density of such glaze is also controlled by juice and powdered sugar.

Decorating Easter cakes with mastic

Decorating Easter cakes with mastic is more complicated, but it also opens up more opportunities for creativity. You can treat mastic like plasticine, sculpting and cutting out figures, flowers, leaves, as well as traditional decorations for cakes. Having experimented with plenty of different types of mastic, I can recommend you the simplest and most proven recipe. It's easier just to buy ready-made mastic in the store!

Milk mastic

My favorite mastic is made from condensed milk. She has a wonderful milky taste and is very easy to work with. Mix 160 g milk powder with 160 g icing sugar and sift. Make a depression in this dry mixture and gradually add 200 g of condensed milk and 2 teaspoons of lemon juice. Knead the mastic until smooth and wrap in plastic. It can be painted with gel dyes in any color, and then covered with rolled mastic Easter cake, as well as make decorations.

DIY traditional Easter cake decorations

Decorating Easter cakes is that stage of preparation for the holiday that children love so much. And if the preparation of glaze or mastic is too difficult and troublesome for a child, then laying out patterns from edible colored sprinkles, marmalade and sweets is perfect for kids. Open the bag of sprinkles, cut the marmalade, cover the cake with icing or honey and show your child how to decorate the Easter cake with your own hands. As a result, they will all be decorated with touching children's patterns.

The most traditional way to decorate a cake is to put the letters X and B on its top, which means "Christ is Risen!" You can apply letters with colored sugar, raisins, other dried fruits, nuts, as well as sugar pencils and chocolate. You can also paint any pattern or drawing on white glaze using special food paints.

How to decorate Easter cake with inedible decorative elements

When considering how to decorate an Easter cake, do not forget about the huge selection of decor options using ribbons, lace, paper and themed figurines. The easiest way is to buy an Easter cake decoration, but you can very easily make an Easter cake decoration with your own hands. The modern decoration of Easter cakes is generally distinguished by a creative approach, as well as the use of the most unexpected combinations and materials. Stylish Easter cake decoration can be made of crumpled paper, ribbons and colored twine.

New Easter cake decorating ideas

Easter cake is a special festive product, but still it remains a baked goods. But there are a great many ideas for decorating baked goods. So you can arm yourself with a variety of ways to decorate baked goods and pastries, and all this can be applied to Easter cake. So, here are some new ideas for decorating cakes I will offer you this year:

Merengi.Prepare a strong meringue and dip the still hot cake into it. You can let this snow-white pointed cap dry, or you can bake it or brown it with a burner. Peaks and roses applied with a pastry bag with nozzles will look beautiful. The edges can also be browned in the oven or burner.

Lacy chocolate rim and voluminous chocolate figurines. After punching a small hole in the chocolate bag, apply the lace patterns to the thick wrap. The width and length of the lace edge should be suitable for the cake. Draw with chocolate, let it harden a little (the chocolate should remain plastic, but not drip). Cover the cake with honey and wrap it in a foil with chocolate lace, lightly pressing the chocolate to the sides of the cake. Let the chocolate lace harden in the refrigerator and gently peel off the wrap.

Caramel jewelry.Liquid caramel is an excellent material for creating any decorative elements. Apply an Easter-themed drawing (letters XB, a dove, or a dome of a church) to the parchment, prepare a caramel and circle it around the drawing using a simple teaspoon.

Colored coconut flakes. You can make sprinkles of any color from white coconut flakes using dyes. Just dissolve the dye in a little water and soak the shavings, let them dry completely, and decorate your Easter baked goods on top of the icing.

Walnut kozinaki. From nuts and caramel, you can easily make kozinaki, with pieces of which you can beautifully decorate the sides and top of the cake.

Rice balls and nuts in chocolate. In combination with other decorative elements and glaze, the balls can perfectly decorate the Easter cake. How exactly is a matter of creativity.

Candied citrus wedges. They are quite beautiful in themselves and, in combination with ribbons, chocolate, spices, will decorate your baked goods.

I greet you today and will gladly continue to develop the Easter theme. Moreover, there are so many interesting topics in it. They begin to prepare for this bright holiday in advance, create,. And the day before the holiday, the baking of Easter cakes and the creation of Easter begins. And each housewife is in search of the very recipe that tastes better than the rest.

Of course, delicious and aromatic pastries are already half the success, but for the holiday they also want to decorate them. And the puzzle begins - how and how to spread and sprinkle it on the top of the cake. And everything is very simple, read below, I will tell you about very affordable and beautiful options. We simply forget about some of them, although they are very suitable for festive decoration.

Whipped protein cream is one of the most traditional and widely used options for decorating the cake head. It is quite simple to manufacture, and experienced housewives have already found the nuances, subject to which the cream will be ideal. You can use not only protein, but others. But in my childhood they did just that. Mom whipped the whites, decorated the pastries, and gave the leftovers from the sides of the ladle to us. We licked these spoons until they shine!

But, not everyone succeeds in this simple cream, so I will give the basic rules for whipping proteins.

 1. Clean and completely dry dishes.
 2. The eggs should be cold.
 3. If the cream is not immediately applied immediately after cooking, it will settle.

Ingredients:

 • 2 eggs
 • 1 cup powdered sugar
 • 1 tbsp lemon juice

It is prepared very simply. The eggs are divided into whites and yolks.

Put the bowl in which you put the proteins in the refrigerator for 20 minutes, it should be cold, only then start cooking.

Beat only the whites for 20 seconds, then add the powder in a teaspoon. Beat the sugar mixture for 2 minutes.
Then pour in 1 tsp. lemon juice and now beat the cream until nice peaks. This will take another 6 to 11 minutes.

Let the baked goods cool before decorating, otherwise any cream, at least, will begin to flow on the sides.

All the lush protein mass must be used, the next day it will no longer be so airy, because it will simply settle and dry out.

You can use absolutely any cream, for example, beautiful flowers are obtained from butter.

This Easter must be kept in the refrigerator, and the oil can be replaced with one that also keeps its shape well, but not as fatty and high-calorie as butter.

Home decor with chocolate

Chocolate decoration is also always in use. It looks very beautiful in contrast to powdered sugar or white chocolate. You can also make chocolate letters or lines over the glossy white frosting!

Most often, they just take a bar of milk chocolate, break it and melt it in a water bath. And then, when all the pieces melt completely, they begin the design process. You can just cover the top of the baked goods instead of icing, or you can think of a design.

For example, I really love the idea of dark sweet letters on a white protein cream.

Or I also want to give you a delicious basket idea using a stencil and a chocolate mixture.

For this, we prepare a stencil. To do this, you can use tracing paper or parchment paper. We measure our bead around the circumference and cut a strip of the same length, 4 centimeters wide.

Now comes the hardest part. Pour chocolate into a bag, tie the edge well and cut off the cellophane tip at the corner. We begin to draw chocolate paths according to the template. This must be done quickly so that the mixture does not cool down.

To make the strip come off well, you can first grease it a little with oil, and then apply chocolate.

Making icing for cake

The protein cream starts to crumble when you cut the paste. And a lot of this crumb is then thrown away. Today I want to give you a recipe for also white glaze, but without using eggs and it does not crumble at all. The secret is the lack of protein and the addition of gelatin.

 • 1 cup of sugar
 • 1 tsp gelatin
 • 6 tbsp water
 • Lemon juice

Pour gelatin with 2 tablespoons. water and leave to swell.

Then pour sugar into the container, fill it with 4 tablespoons of water. And you until the sugar dissolves.

Remove the hot mass from the heat.

We spread the swollen gelatin and mix.

Then beat with a mixer at maximum speed for 4-5 minutes, until the mass turns white.

Now we squeeze a couple of drops of lemon juice into this mixture, you can replace it with an orange or grapefruit or a dye.

Now beat for another thirty seconds and you're done.

It easily falls on the surface and is squeezed out of the pastry syringe.

You can also add any dyes to this glaze.

This should be done at the stage of adding gelatin. Then the paint will mix well with the whole mass.

Ideas for decorating treats through a stencil

I started my way in baking design with this method. And I still think it is the simplest and most favorite.

This decoration option consists in the fact that a stencil is laid out on the surface of the baking, on which a mass contrasting with the coating is laid.

It turns out very beautifully when large lace is laid on top of the chocolate and powdered sugar is sprinkled on top. You can do the opposite, and pour cocoa or colored sugar on a white glossy surface.

I cut out my stencils with a clerical knife from paper and tea packs. But, if you have a large drawing, then it is better to choose a landscape sheet. It is easier to apply on an uneven, for example, rounded surface than a cardboard blank.

And I also give a couple of templates that are suitable for a Bright holiday.

For example, such letters that are always used on this day.

The hare in the egg is a very symbolic picture. And for a wide Easter cake it will be very appropriate.

They do not contain many details and are easy to cut.

How to decorate the cake on top without squirrel?

Many people are afraid to use raw eggs for food. I recently also began to relate to this category of people, so let's figure out what other design might be suitable.

My dear ones, for those with a sweet tooth, condensed milk would be an excellent option. The usual gostovsky must be applied in a thin layer, and the boiled one can be thicker, it is not as liquid as the usual one. Or use the icing I mentioned above, or melted chocolate.

Ok, we have prepared the base, now we want to add some bright colors! And we run to the store for dried fruits, candied fruits, nuts and MMDs.

Yes, my dear various kernels in bright glaze, gummies and small biscuits are all we need.

For those who value naturalness and healthiness, it is better to take candied papaya, mango and pineapple.

You can add nuts or dried fruits to them, such as dates, figs, or prunes with raisins.

But more often, dried fruits go into the dough itself than for external decoration.

Making decor with marshmallow mastic

Gorgeous flowers, figures and patterns are obtained from mastic. But it is not so easy to make real mastic or marzipan at home. I'll show you how you can knead such a delicious dough for decorating with marshmallows with your own hands, in the store it is called marshmallows.

Watch a detailed video, where a wonderful hostess shows and tells everything in a very accessible way.

I think that the very process of creating such a multi-colored jewelry will greatly inspire you!

See what decoration is made of mastic: flowers, ornaments. And I love the idea where one item is cut out.

It turns out very harmoniously and without unnecessary details.

Simple ideas with coconut flakes and pastry topping

In our childhood, mothers and grandmothers used only purchased confectionery sprinkles or colored sugar. Now, in addition to the fact that there are different forms of sprinkling, you can also pick it up by color. If you want, take a multi-colored one, but you want in one tone.

Often it is simply sprinkled over the top of the baked goods, trying to do this very evenly.

But we have always drawn with her the two main letters of the holiday XB, which mean "Christ is Risen."

Of course, you cannot write a complete transcript on a kulich, but an abbreviated one is definitely possible. Now, if we have a chocolate cake, we make the letters with coconut chips so that they are clearly visible.

How to decorate Easter cake with dough?

You can decorate with dough not only the top of the cake, but also the sides. Especially if they are not very even.

For the top, you can make roses and leaves. For example, let's roll out the usual dough, you can not yeast.

Cut 5 circles out of it with a glass. We put them in one line so that the edge of the next one is on the previous one and we fold it into a roll.

We cut it in half and finish the design of the flowers.

So that during baking the roses do not fly off, we will put them on toothpicks. And we will send the baked goods to the oven until fully cooked.

But you can also make an unusual edging from Easter. To do this, we also roll out a layer from an ordinary dough, take a long lace, put it on the layer and begin to roll out the fabric with a rolling pin.

This will transfer her pattern to the dough.

Now we will remove the lace and cut the pattern along the edges.

We transfer our beautiful preparation to a baking sheet and dry it a little in the oven, for five minutes at 180 degrees. This is necessary for the dough to start keeping its shape.

Then we take it out of the oven and wrap the cake. We also hold the edges with toothpicks.

Now you need to bake this structure for 20 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees.

Strawberry berry decoration

And also very modern berry design. For example, use strawberries. Of course, we will not take out frozen foods, because they will melt, release a lot of liquid and juice and thus spoil the appearance of the baked goods. So let's take some fresh strawberries. Moreover, it is sold now at any time of the year in hypermarkets.

To add sweetness, the berry can be dipped in chocolate.

Combined with strawberries, the cookies look very natural. Its bright color immediately inspires and reminds of summer and warmth.

My dear! I have already found several options for myself that I will embody this Easter. And how do you decorate Easter cakes? Your ideas and wishes are very interesting!

Here is one of the options we got.

Another option for painting.

On top of the painting, you can decorate with mastic flowers or colored sprinkles.

There are several more options for decorating the Easter cake.

Preparing the powder yourself

In addition to the confectionery powder, which is made from hard glaze, colored coconut flakes, colored sugar, semolina and even millet are used as a powder for Easter cakes. You can buy powder not only before Easter, but also at any other time. It is stored for a long time, and in a cool dry place, the excess can remain until the next year. Preparing the powder yourself is also not difficult. This will require food paint and base. At home, semolina is best, but, of course, sugar powder will be tastier.

Egg paint gives bright and saturated colors. You need very little of it, so you can use the leftovers. But if vinegar has been added to the paint, it will not work for making powder. Semolina or sugar is placed in cold paint for a few seconds and dried on paper. After drying, large lumps can be broken into which cereals and sugar soaked in paint stick together.

Usually the colored powder is mixed, or it is already sold in mixed form. But coconut flakes, for example, are packaged in separate colors. You can decorate the cake in an original way if you apply the powder in strips or concentric circles. You can also cut out a stencil with XB letters and simple patterns and apply powder through the stencil, letters and patterns in one color, the background in another.

Traditionally it is decorated with the letters "ХВ". This is an abbreviation for the Easter greeting "Christ is Risen!" Letters can be laid out with pieces of finely chopped fruit, raisins, dried apricots ... Used for inscriptions and candied fruit (usually flat and multi-colored). And the letters "ХВ" are molded from dough. And when the cake is ready, sprinkle it with powdered sugar, and highlight the letters with bright sprinkling (culinary beads, for example), chocolate.

Glaze. Decorating cakes with icing is a very common way to give them a festive, beautiful look. A glaze is prepared from egg white and sugar (or powdered sugar), which are thoroughly whipped until thick foam.

Icing for cake

Ingredients:
1-2 egg whites
0.5 cups powdered sugar
1 tbsp. a spoonful of lemon juice.

Preparation
The protein should be refrigerated. Beat it with a mixer. Start the process at the first speed, gradually increase it. To understand that whipping is enough, you can turn the bowl of protein upside down - the protein should not pour out. When the required consistency is reached, start gradually, in a teaspoon, adding powdered sugar sifted through a sieve. Finish with lemon juice and beat for another 10 seconds. Apply the finished glaze to hot cakes - then it will fit snugly, and is unlikely to crumble. Another way to give additional "strength" to the glaze is to put the cakes for a minute in the oven heated to 100-120 ° C.

Glaze is a wonderful decoration in itself. However, you can add (sprinkle) nuts, dried fruits, grated chocolate, multi-colored confectionery beads to it. Again, you can lay out the letters "XB" from the fruit. And you can just write these letters with glaze. There are many options. Kulich is a holiday treat, so get creative! Often, yolk is applied to the finished kulich to give it an appetizing shine and sprinkle with powdered sugar or bright sprinkles. A symbol of faith, a cross, is sculpted from the dough and glazed. Can be used for decoration (already on top of the glaze), for example, waffle flowers, flowers from culinary mastic.

Sugar Pastry for Flowers and Other Decorations

Ingredients:
250 g icing sugar
2 tsp powder gelatin,
6 tsp water,
1 tsp glucose.

Preparation
Sift the icing sugar. Pour it into a bowl. Take another bowl (small) and place the gelatin in it. Sprinkle it with water, let it swell for 2-3 minutes. Then place the bowl of gelatin in a water bath and dissolve, stirring gently. Immediately after dissolving the gelatin, pour in the glucose. The resulting liquid should be more or less transparent. Next, make a hole in the icing sugar and pour the mixture of gelatin and glucose into it. Stir well, using a knife, chopping movements. Then place the mastic in a plastic bag and the bag in an airtight container. Leave for 3-4 hours at room temperature. After that, you can sculpt flowers and other decorations from mastic.

Here's how to mold roses from mastic, for example. To begin with, using food coloring, tint the mastic in pink, green, scarlet, yellow and other colors. Leave some white mastic as well. Place the colored mastic pieces in a plastic bag to keep them soft and pliable. Use it in small portions.

From a small piece of mass, mold a "carrot" and place it on a table or board. After that, roll balls of the same size from the tinted mass - future rose petals. Mash the first ball with a teaspoon on a table dusted with powdered sugar, then use your hands to shape it into a petal. Make the petal thinner on one edge, thicker on the opposite. Then slightly moisten the lower part of the petal with water and wrap it around the "carrot", thereby making the ovary of the flower. From the second ball, mold the next petal. Moisten the bottom at the base of the petal again and screw it onto the workpiece so that the middle of the second petal covers the "seam" of the first petal. Glue the third petal and bend it from the middle to the side. So make 5-6 petals.

Let the finished flowers dry for 5-6 hours. The petals should be made as thin as possible towards the edges and thicker at the base! If an extra mass of glaze has formed on the bottom of the flower, it can be cut off with scissors.

Then you need to prepare the leaves for the flowers. Form "carrots" from 3-4 green balls (can be of different sizes). With two thumbs, press down the middle of the carrot and shape it into a leaf. Then with a knife in the center of the sheet, and then obliquely, apply veins. You can give the leaf any shape and bend it the way you like. Dry. When flowers and leaves are ready, they are collected in a bouquet. Attach from 2 to 3 leaves to one flower.

The Easter cake should be served on a large plate, on which painted eggs can be laid out around the perimeter (we will talk more about it). But there is another option: with fruit. To do this, lay out the kiwi with chamomile, and in the center place a mixture of nuts, prunes, fresh berries, chopped orange slices. On the resulting fruit base, place the cake, decorated in the same style: fresh fruit on top of the glaze.

Easter glaze and decorative dusting

But they came up with a modern way of decorating Easter cakes, although in reality Easter glaze is the same sugar, only in the form of powder, with the addition of citric acid and starch (for better whipping and thickening). You need to add egg white to the glaze in powder form and beat with a mixer, whisk quickly and hardens better than just proteins with sugar.

Apply the icing to the tops of the cakes with a brush or spoon and wait a couple of minutes. Because if you sprinkle with sprinkling at once, it will get wet and melt.

And in a few minutes, when the icing on the cakes dries up, but does not harden - do not miss it, the sprinkling will simply crumble from the frozen glaze!) - decorate with multi-colored sugar sprinkles.
And there are so many types of sprinkles - round, and long, and asterisks, and different colors! Entrust the work of sprinkling cakes with sprinkling to children - they really like this business! True, some of the sprinkling is eaten :)

But look at how else you can elegantly paint Easter cakes using ordinary glaze and natural dyes!

Candied fruits, sugar beads and sugar figurines

You can decorate Easter cakes not with sprinkles, but with multi-colored candied fruits. It looks very nice, but candied fruits are large and hard, therefore it is better not to give them to small children.

Pasches decorated with sugar mastic figurines also look very original and beautiful - for example, such cute chickens. But, to be honest, you can't chew these figures ...

And sugar beads, shiny, gold and silver - although they are very beautiful, I do not recommend taking them for decoration! They are good only to look at, but the taste is very hard and absolutely unbreakable. And even dangerous for babies. So we'd better take ...

Sugar pencils!

An ingenious invention !!! Well done, the pastry chef who invented them! The process of decorating baked goods - cakes, muffins, cookies - turns into creativity! You can draw whatever patterns you want, leaves, flowers, put specks - paint the paste like a paint! The set includes three pencils of different colors - red, green and yellow. It is very exciting to paint cakes with them with the whole family! Give the kids one cake for decoration, and let them paint as they want!

Dough decoration

Two types of dough decorations

Decorations are laid out on top of the cake before baking, or glued to an already baked cake with raw protein. Decorations can be made from the same dough from which the cake is made, or from another, less amenable to deformation during baking. Braids are made of dough, flowers are made, letters and crosses are laid out.

If the cake is baked with decorations, grease the top with a beaten egg or vegetable oil to make it look beautiful. But this is optional. Then, after baking, the top of the cake can be poured with sugar syrup and even a fine powder can be applied over the syrup. Cover the gaps between the decorations with glaze, glue the nuts and candied fruits with squirrel.

For jewelry from butter dough:
150 gr. flour,
30 gr. margarine,
1 tbsp. l. sour cream,
20 gr. Sahara,
1 egg.

Perhaps you will be quite satisfied that the jewelry will have a crispy golden crust and the same color as the whole cake. Then the decorations can be made from the same dough from which the cake is prepared. Well, if you still want them to contrast in color, take on one more decoration tip, you can make it from yeast, but not butter dough. Gently, the prepared decorations are laid out on the already distant dough, smeared with an egg suspension, and the cake is sent for baking.

Of course, there is no comrade in taste and color. I like working with a special dough more, then the decorations are more airy and graceful. Ready-made decorations are placed on the hot surface of the baked cake. Since they turn out to be very thin in comparison with decorations made from yeast dough, it is enough to place the decor attached to the cake in a hot oven for a few minutes to fix it and create a light shade.

Simple dough- Flour, salt and water, knead dough and make decorations.

The bright, kind, historically significant Easter holiday simply cannot be ignored. Every Christian family in all corners of the globe prepares for this day with trepidation. It is necessary to prepare not only delicious treats, but also decorate the house and prepare gifts for loved ones. That's just about all this we will talk with you today.

How to decorate Easter with your own hands

Strawberry wedges lined up at the base, a little sprinkling at the very top and a delicate mint leaf - a small set of jewelry that can work wonders.

Ordinary culinary beads are fine for a clean design. You can decide on the color yourself, just like with the picture. This can be a chaotic arrangement of curved lines or simple letters XB, as in the photo below.

Candied fruits, fresh fruit, and even thinly sliced almonds are suitable for decoration. Lay out any fruits that are contrasting in color with, at the base, stick a mint leaf on top, and decorate the sides of the curd mass with almonds. Simple and original. The mint leaf can be replaced with decorative butterflies, which you can easily find on store shelves.

You can not be limited only by the appearance of Easter, go ahead and think over the filling. A slice of mango placed in the center of the curd mold will look very original in cut. Top with a little melted chocolate and almond shavings. Especially creative people can decorate the dish itself, on which Easter will be located. This is very unusual and, importantly, delicious!

How to decorate Easter cakes with your own hands

Decorating an Easter cake is a delicate matter that requires a creative approach. The main thing here is to observe the fine line between luxury and luridness. If until today you have not noticed any notes of creative impulses, then it is better to stick to the minimalist style or follow our recommendations.

Don't have enough time for decorations? Then you can go to any grocery store that sells sprinkles, dyes and pastry syringes. Having purchased everything you need, that the eye liked, just pour the cake with icing, collect the letters ХВ (which means Christ is Risen) with edible beads and ... that's it. Easter cake is ready!

However, if you have enough time to decorate the cake, here you can embark on a fabulous creative flight. Mastic alone is worth something, that they just do not make of it. Here are wonderful chickens grazing on the grass, made with skillful handles from the same edible plasticine.

Another example of a non-standard approach to decorating Easter cakes. Delicate blue cream with silver sprinkles and flowers. A laconic approach, which in this case played a positive role.

Even the simplest cake, covered with chocolate glaze and sprinkled with crushed nuts, looks unusual and appetizing.
What about the peaks from the well-known meringue? It is done very quickly, but how airy and original!

Fun, joy, spring - all these thoughts evoke just one look at the cake, decorated with candied fruits and dressed in a bright ribbon.

8. If you plan to sprinkle confectionery powder on top of the glaze, “seat” ready-made figurines or decorative beads, do it directly on the freshly applied glaze, otherwise it will harden and your jewelry will not stick to the glaze.
