If the accepted type of honey has an irritating effect on the gastric mucosa, it must be replaced with another type that is more easily tolerated by the body.

The described technique can be used to treat chronic atrophic gastritis with zero acidity. Here you can take a solution of honey and with meals, along with dishes of the appropriate diet.

The use of honey with a warm decoction of the corresponding herbs is very effective. However, it should be borne in mind that in some people with increased stomach acidity, honey eaten on an empty stomach causes heartburn. To avoid it, honey is best added to porridge, cottage cheese, milk or tea; you can take it with baking soda or almagel.

There are recommendations of traditional medicine for chronic gastritis to take honey with aloe.
