Hello hello dear reader! I can't help but write about my next spontaneous purchase. Recently, I again bake a lot of all sorts of sweets!

And then the idea crept into my head to bake bread at home, and at the same time to try a bread maker. But I decided to start with a simple one, and so I looked at myself a ready-made mixture for baking bread And at the same time I grabbed this ready-made mixture for baking Orange cake from the shelf. It is about her that I will write my review today.

I already had the experience of buying ready-made baking mixes from this manufacturer. And not the most successful, I must say. But I decided to try my luck again)))

Here is such a bag with an appetizing cupcake looked at me from the shelf in the store ... well, how not to put it in the basket))) I know that there are several more flavors of such cupcakes, but in the assortment in the store there was only orange, I and took it.

So, I bought this mixture at Pyaterochka. The price for a bag was 63 rubles. I can't say that it is very budgetary!

Net weight 400 grams.

A bag of the mixture is designed for one cake.

I read the composition, it seems to be not the worst! But still, instead of egg powder in the composition, I personally would add real eggs! Powdered milk, I also did not understand why it is included in the composition))

Does not contain GMO

Also on the bag there is an instruction in which it is written in detail how to make a cupcake)))

In addition to the mixture from the bag itself, we also need warm milk (or water), as well as softened butter or margarine. It's that simple!

I prepared all the ingredients and poured the mixture into a large bowl. The smell of citrus flavor hit my nose Not too intense and vigorous! Then, following the instructions, I added softened butter and warm milk to the mixture, I added a little more milk than the manufacturer indicated in the instructions. Stir everything well! You can even mix everything with a mixer.

I got a rather thick, but tender and aromatic dough.

But I decided to add a "zest" to the cake-pie and put chocolate flat circles right into the dough in a circle. That is, I ended up with a chocolate orange muffin cake

Hot Pie:

I removed the cake from the mold without any problems! The cake turned out to be very fragrant and tender with chocolate inside! It just melted in my mouth! Crumbly! Even slightly browned.

Everyone at home really liked it)))

My homemade pies are more magnificent, but this one did not rise very much

Conclusions and Bottom Line: I give this mixture 3 stars and recommend it for purchase! But I won't buy it myself, since there is nothing supernatural in the composition, milk powder, flavoring and egg powder, in my opinion, are generally superfluous there. Homemade pies are still tastier))

Thanks for attention! Bake with heart and soul!

The white layer following it can add bitterness to the dish. After adding the zest, the dough must be mixed. The next step is to add wheat flour. It must be sieved with baking powder. Looking at the abundance of various sweets, each housewife will be able to choose her own recipe for "Orange Cupcake".

Courage, ingenuity and love of experimentation are what distinguishes me as a culinary specialist. More passion for buns and laziness. This is also not alien to me. This culinary Monday, I present to your attention

Orange cupcake from ready mix in a bag!

To bake an orange muffin from the bag mix was a bold, inventive, and unambiguously experimental solution. I wanted a bun, but I was too lazy to bother with getting food out of the closet and measuring it. I baked an orange muffin out of a baking mixture, and now I'll tell you everything, how I did what, what happened, and what I think about all this. (and I will show you at the same time, I love photographing the culinary process).

Let me introduce you a muffin mix. To what the technique has come, however. In my childhood, the cake mix was sold in a nondescript, modest, embarrassed bag so that no one would even notice that the hostess had a * ah ah scandal! * In her bag * ah ah a scandal! * A ready-made baking mix, and nowadays such a cheerful packaging is made, however. The colors are funny.

The recipe is written right on the bag. You need to add butter and milk to the dry mixture, so the full set of ingredients for this recipe is below:

Instead of milk and butter, you could take margarine and water, but in reality my digestion is always very nervous, so I prefer butter for gastroenterological reasons. And milk instead of water - only to add the product. This bottle has lived in my refrigerator for more than one day, and it was about to turn sour. I preemptively put her into action. The more sour, the better the cupcake will come out more flavorful.

I mix without a mixer, just with a wooden spoon, so to make it more convenient to mix, first I poured half of about a packet of dry mixture into the butter, stirred it a little. She poured in about half of the milk.

She interfered a little more, then poured the rest of the dry mixture out of the bag, interfered, and poured out the rest of the milk.

Well, she stirred it to the end. When you add the ingredients in this way in parts, it mixes smoother and more uniformly.

Replacement of props. While I was mixing and photographing, the oven warmed up and the unearthly beauty of the bowl faded into the background, it was the turn of the oiled baking dish!

The dough came out particularly thick. I categorically did not want to pour, I had to get out a silicone spatula.

Nothing copes with the task of transferring the dough completely out of the bowl into the mold like a silicone spatula. There are practically no losses, all the dough is cleanly in shape.

In the oven, this business hung out for exactly 40 minutes. The dough came out quite a bit, and I thought that those who wrote “bake for 40 minutes” on the package got excited. No, do not get excited, in fact, the cupcake was baked for 40 minutes.

The bottom crust has turned brown well, just as I like. The cupcake went up and even cracked beautifully on the top - I love it when cupcakes do that. I let it cool for 10-15 minutes and treated myself to a piece. Appreciate.

The tasting showed that the cake came out tasty, soft and fluffy, the crust was crispy. The taste is soft orange, the sugar is just right, but the authors rushed with hundreds of grams of butter. The cake came out too greasy and oily for my taste, which, as you know, did not stop me from sharpening a good third of the cake. I liked chemistry from a bag, and now we have sooooo many different dry mixes, it's curious to try everything, so I'm afraid this is not the last recipe "from a bag" in culinary Monday. But next time I will put at least half as much oil as in the instructions. Or maybe I'll replace it with sour cream or mashed bananas.

Appreciate the saucer. Also grandmother's, Dulevo porcelain between others.

And about finances: baking a cake from a dry mix is, of course, easier and faster than measuring and mixing all the ingredients separately, but I didn't notice much savings in terms of money. Our baking mixture costs about 80 rubles per bag, 100 g of butter will come out about 50 rubles (margarine is cheaper, but I try to use butter), and a glass of milk will cost 15 rubles, depending on the milk. It turns out 145 rubles, and the cake is not too big. Six, probably for one tea party, provided that there are other snacks. A cupcake of the same size baked with flour-eggs-sugar-soda-orange peel would cost, I think, about the same.

COMPOSITION

You can find fault with the composition of the mixture, since there is a flavoring agent and a baking powder, but personally I do not think it is very harmful to the body.

premium wheat flour, sugar, dry egg melange, powdered milk, baking powder (sodium pyrophosphate, sodium bicarbonate - baking soda), salt, orange peel (powder), orange flavor

Does not contain GMOs!

REQUIRED INGREDIENTS FOR BAKING

100 gsoftened butter or margarine

160 ml (4/5 cup) warm wateror milk

Even if milk was not found at home, then it can be replaced with water, and expensive butter with budget margarine. I used 4/5 cup milk and half a carton of margarine.

COOKING METHOD

The manufacturer took care and clearly painted everything step by step on the package.

I melted half a packet of margarine in a small saucepan on the stove and cooled it down.

She poured 160 ml of milk into a glass, warmed it up in the microwave until it was warm.

I mixed melted margarine with milk.

The baking mixture was sifted through a sieve.

You don't need to sift, but I always do it so that the dough is free of lumps. And in this case, grains of granulated sugar and baking powder were not sifted, which I crushed separately, and then poured into the dough.

It remains to mix everything thoroughly.

The dough turned out to be liquid, the spoon is not worth it.

And filled it 3/4 full of ready-made dough.

The cake was baked in the oven at 200 degrees for about 40 minutes (even less time).

It turned out to be rosy, baked, a little cracked in the middle. I cook orange muffin 3 or 4 times and never had a problem with it. Fast, tasty and cheap! All households appreciated and did not have to stand at the stove for a long time. It tastes crumbly, there is enough sugar and an orange is felt.
