Honey cake in a slow cooker - recipe with photo:

First, prepare the dough. We take a deep container, drive in an egg and add sugar.

Beat the egg with sugar thoroughly with a mixer.

Pour the egg mass into a ladle or any other metal container. We also need to take a silicone spatula. With its help, it is very convenient to stir the egg mass over a fire so that it does not sink to the bottom.

  Put a tablespoon of honey.

Add a piece of butter and put on a slow fire to simmer constantly stirring. It is very important that the egg mixture does not burn. Cook until sugar and honey dissolve.

Pour the finished egg mixture into a deep container. Add a pinch of salt and soda quenched with vinegar.

Pour the flour in small portions and start kneading the dough.

We should get an elastic shortcrust pastry. Wrap the dough in cling film and put in the refrigerator for one hour.

Cut the dough into seven uniform pieces.

From food foil we make a shape so that it fits the diameter of the multicooker bowl, and place it on the bottom of the bowl. We roll out a piece of dough and put it into a foil mold.

We close the lid of the Polaris multicooker (Redmond, Panasonic, etc.) and set the “multi-cooker” mode, then select the temperature 160 ° C and the time 10 minutes in the menu. If there is no multi-cooker, then use the baking or frying mode (they have the same temperature). Set the heating time manually or watch for baking.

That's all, the slow cooker began to bake the first cake for honey cake. It is very convenient when in stock there is an additional bowl for a multicooker. While the first cake is being baked, you can not waste time in vain, start preparing the second cake and so alternately changing the bowls in the multicooker to bake the cake one by one.

In the process of baking cake cakes become a beautiful dark brown color. Finished cakes are very easily separated from the foil and stack one on top of the other.

Now that the cakes are ready, prepare the cream for the cake. For custard, combine the egg, sugar and flour in a metal container. All mix well.

Pour milk and set on a very slow fire. Continuing to interfere, cook the cream until it begins to thicken.

When the custard thickens, dissolve the butter in it. Remove the finished cream from the heat and let it cool slightly.

We put the first cake on the dish and grease it with custard.

Cover the first cake with the second.

So one by one we coat one cake after another. Well grease the top of the cake and the sides of the cream with cream. Our honey cake in a slow cooker is almost ready to decorate.

Sprinkle the top and sides of the cake with almond flakes. If there are no almond flakes, then you can use roasted hazelnuts or walnuts instead. In a water bath, melt the chocolate with butter and mix. Pour the chocolate mass into a pastry bag and decorate the top of the cake. We put the finished honey cake in the refrigerator for a couple of hours, and best of all at night, so that it is well saturated with cream.

Honey cake in a slow cooker with custard turned out to be very tasty and beautiful. It will be a great addition to tea or coffee, and can also take pride of place on the festive table.

The honey cake in the multicooker turned out to be just amazing. Try it and see for yourself!

Many housewives, buying a slow cooker, are absolutely sure that everything will be cooked in it: starting with first courses and ending with pies and desserts. I thought the same. And as a result, this household appliance was treacherously forgotten, stood and dusted. It's time to get it and start to master. And to make it clear what this kitchen “helper” is capable of, we will prepare a honey cake that is quite difficult to perform in the traditional way and very simple - in a slow cooker.

For impregnation, take a cream and curd cream. But first things first. I present to you Medovik in a slow cooker recipe with photos of each step.

So, we will need the following ingredients

For honey biscuit
  4 chicken eggs
4 tablespoons of liquid natural honey
  10 g baking powder (bag)
  half a teaspoon of soda
  2.5 cups premium flour
half a glass of sugar (if you're a sweet tooth, put more)

For cream
  400 g cottage cheese
  1 cup light sour cream
  1 cup of sugar

You will also need a small piece of butter to lubricate the crock-pot, but you can take just a couple of drops of sunflower or olive oil.

As a unit of measure, a glass of 250 g was taken.

The recipe for making a honey cake in a slow cooker

  The ingredients are prepared.
To begin with, in a separate deep bowl, mix the flour, baking soda and baking powder. Set aside. This mixture will come in handy later.

A little tip:  when you combine these ingredients, put a little less flour. Better you then add it to the dough than as a result, it will be too thick and stiff.

Take a convenient deep dish, drive eggs into it and pour sugar.
We bring the mixer to strong foam.
If you manage to masterfully work with a whisk, use it. Then we pour in natural liquid honey. It will give the baking color and aroma. Again, beat everything well.
Add flour with baking powder and soda to the same container.
  Knead a thin dough.
It is even more similar in texture and taste to a delicate cream than to pastry for baking.
Lubricate the multicooker bowl with oil and pour the resulting sweet honey mass.
We close the lid, turn on the “Baking” mode and do not touch the biscuit for an hour. The basis for the honey cake in the baking process should rise at times. Opening the lid is not worth it, however much you would like it: the dough may fall.
It's time to start the cream and curd cream. By the way, it is better to choose cottage cheese soft, without large grains. Mix cottage cheese, sugar and sour cream.
Beat well for 5-7 minutes. Then we put in the refrigerator. In the half hour that the cream spends there, it will thicken.
When the beep sounds and the multicooker is completed, open the lid and check the biscuit for readiness.
If for an hour he did not bake to the end, we start the session again, but turn it off after 20-25 minutes. We get the finished biscuit from the multicooker.
  Cut into 4 parts.

Cake, cake, cake! For a long time I wanted to try a cake in a multicooker, but the fear stopped that the device could not cope. I was afraid in vain, the multicooker could do everything, it seems. Of course, there are nuances, they, as well as my experience, will be discussed in the recipe. As for the result, it is obvious.

Why did I decide to bake a honey cake in a slow cooker? Because it's my favorite cake in my family. And because I decided to start my cake experiment in a slow cooker with something more or less simple. In cooking, a Brand 6051 multicooker pressure cooker with a power of 1000W and a bowl volume of 5l was used.

Preparation: 20 minutes. Cooking: 2 hours 30 minutes

Ingredients

In order to cook a honey cake in a slow cooker, you will need:

For biscuit:

  • 5-6 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp with baking powder slide
  • 320 g flour
  • 150 g sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil to grease the bowl

For cream:

  • 250 g butter at room temperature
  • ½ cans of condensed milk

As fillers between the cakes, I used walnuts and bananas.

How to make a cake in a slow cooker

Put the honey in the bucket and put on a small fire, as soon as the honey warms up, pour the baking powder and stirring, continue to heat the mass. Gradually, honey with a baking powder will turn white, and as soon as they turn into a uniform light foam, remove them from the heat.

In a deep bowl, mix 6 eggs and 150 g of sugar.

Beat eggs with sugar with a blender or whisk until the mass doubles.

Pour honey with baking powder into the egg mass and attach the sifted flour to them.

Knead the dough. It will turn out a little thicker than the usual biscuit.

Lubricate the multicooker bowl with vegetable or butter, then pour half of the resulting dough into it, cover the other half with cling film and put in the refrigerator for a while.

Set the “baking” mode for 1 hour 20 minutes. This time is considered suitable for baking biscuit cakes in most multicooker models. But not so simple. After an hour of cooking, begin to periodically look into the multicooker so as not to miss the readiness for baking, since different models of multicookers still require different cooking times in the same mode. Readiness check with a splinter.

I ventured to bake the entire volume of the test at a time and, to be honest, regretted it: the poor multicooker puffed, honestly trying to bake the entire volume in 2.5 hours, so do not repeat my mistake and bake a biscuit in two steps.

For the specified amount of dough, it is better to bake cake cakes in a multicooker in 2 doses.
As a result, you get two high and airy honey biscuits, which are easily divided into 4 cakes. Do not get a hot biscuit immediately from the multicooker, let it cool slightly in the bowl.

While the last baked biscuit is cooling, remove it away from curious helpers and start cooking the cream.

For a honey cake in a slow cooker, sour cream or custard are perfect, but I decided to cook the easiest one - beat the butter at room temperature, gradually adding condensed milk to it. Do not get carried away with whipping, because over time, the oil will begin to release moisture and the cream will exfoliate.

Cut the cooled biscuits with a long and sharp knife into cakes (three or four).

Lubricate the cake with cream and sprinkle with chopped walnuts. I didn’t saturate the cake further; it already turned out to be tender and magnificent.

Lubricate the next crust with cream and spread on top the sliced \u200b\u200bbananas.

Lubricate the final cake and sides of the cake with the remaining cream.

Decorate the cake to your liking, I went the simplest way and sprinkled it with chopped walnuts. Leave the cake in the refrigerator until guests arrive.
