To prepare a pickle with rice, you will need:

  • 500 g beef pulp
  • 2-3 medium potatoes
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 2 pickled or sour cucumbers
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 tbsp. spoons of rice
  • 2 tbsp. spoons of sour cream
  • Dill or parsley


After washing the meat and cutting it into small pieces, fill it with water and, putting it on a high fire, wait for it to boil. After draining the water, add 2 liters of water to the meat and boil for 1.5 hours. After filtering the broth, salt and bring it to a boil in another pan. At this time, cut the cucumbers into cubes or sticks, and then add them to the broth.

While the cucumbers are cooked for 5-7 minutes, peel and wash the vegetables, then chop them and lower them into the broth. At the end, add rice to the pan and wait until all the ingredients are cooked. After infusing the soup for 30 minutes, add sour cream and herbs to it before serving.


Pickle with pearl barley

To cook such a delicious pearl barley soup, take:

  • 450 ml chicken stock
  • 240 g of potatoes
  • 30 g carrots
  • 45 g pickles
  • 15 g onions
  • 1 tbsp. a spoon of pearl barley
  • 12 g butter
  • 25 g sour cream
  • Salt and herbs to taste


After going through the pearl barley, rinse it and dip it in boiling water in a ratio of 1 to 3, then boil until cooked. Peel the cucumbers for the baby pickle, and if they have large seeds, they are also recommended to be removed. Sliced \u200b\u200bor grated cucumbers for 10-15 minutes in a boiling broth or boiling water in a small amount.

After peeling, chop carrots and onions in butter. Bring the broth to a boil, dip the diced potatoes into it, add the barley, carrots and onions. When all the ingredients boil for about 10 minutes, add pickles to them. After boiling for another 10 minutes, season the soup with sour cream, add greens to it and bring to a boil again. The result should be a dish in which there will be soft vegetables and soft cereals, and pickles will remain a little crunchy.

  • sour cream - 2 tablespoons;

Cooking sequence

  1. Put the broth (or water) on the fire and, while it boils, cut the pickles into small slices. Squeeze them from excess liquid, pour into a saucepan and let boil about 5 minutes.


  2. During this time, peel and wash the vegetables. Cut the potatoes and onions into small cubes, grate the carrots on a medium grater or cut into thin slices).
  3. Put the vegetables to boil in the pan.

  4. Then rinse the rice and also pour it over to cook.
  5. When the potatoes are cooked, add greens to the pickle and immediately turn off the stove.

  6. Sour cream can be added to the soup either 5-10 minutes before turning it off, or already portionwise on a plate.
  7. Let the pickle stand for about half an hour, after which you can serve the dish to the table. Salt to taste.

  2. Strain the broth into another pan. Salt to your taste and put on a big fire to boil faster.
  3. Cut cucumbers with beautiful small cubes or neat cubes. Squeeze out excess liquid from the cut. Throw in our boiling rich broth. Let it cook for 5 to 7 minutes.
  4. Peel and peel all vegetables and rinse under cold running water.
  5. Cut the potatoes with medium cubes or as you used to. Throw into the broth.
  6. Chop the onions with medium cubes or as convenient and stop cooking after the potatoes.
  7. Cut the carrots in neat little sticks or grate on a coarse grater. Put everything in a broth with vegetables.
  8. Almost at the last stage, as the recipe suggests, add 2 tbsp to the pan. l rice. Let everything cook. The main thing is that the potatoes are cooked, and the remaining ingredients quickly become ready.
