Cheese cakes with potatoes

The process of making cheese cakes with potatoes is not much different from previous recipes, so we only consider its features. So, the ingredients we need are the same as in the first recipe, but we still need to add 5-6 potatoes.

Cooking:

  1. Cooking the dough.
  2. We make the filling: the potatoes need to be peeled, boiled and ceilinged. Mix crushed potatoes with grated cheese and chopped herbs.
  3. In a way that we already know, we form cakes and fry them.

So we have mastered with you the basic methods of making cheese cakes in a pan. Do not be afraid to experiment with the filling, add your favorite products - and you will get delicious and original cakes. Cook with pleasure and bon appetit!

Recently, my daughter asked me to make pies or "something like that." The desire of the child is the law, especially when this child is choosy in food (well, let's call it spoiled) and eating soup without “goodies” is almost impossible to persuade.

I looked at the contents of the refrigerator: kefir, a slice of cheese, a slice of ham. Solved! We will make cheese cakes with ham. Fast and tasty.

To prepare cheese cakes with ham you will need:

For the test:

Kefir - 1 glass;

Grated cheese - 0.5 cups;

Flour - 2 glasses;

Sugar - 0.5 tsp;

Salt - 0.5 tsp;

Soda - 0.5 tsp;

Vinegar - 1 tsp;

For filling:

Grated cheese - 0.5 cups;

Grated ham - 0.5 cups;

For frying:

Sunflower oil.

Ham Cheese Cake Recipe:

1. Make the dough: mix kefir, cheese, sugar, salt and vinegar slaked with vinegar.

2. Add 2 cups flour and knead the dough.

3. Stir in the grated cheese and ham for the filling.  Yes, yes, the ham is also three on a grater. Instead of ham, you can add sausage or sausages (all based on the contents of your refrigerator), but for my taste, the most delicious cakes are made with ham. Smoked sausage is also very tasty, but more tender with ham.

Now let's start making flat cakes.

4. Divide the dough into small koloboks. Roll each bun or knead with your hands in a cake.

5. Put the filling.

6. Pinch the dough on top.

7. Knead with your hands to make a cake.

8. Fry the tortillas over low heat in vegetable oil  on both sides.

9. Cakes can be made without filling, or with any other filling. Without filling, the cakes last much longer - a good option for a long trip.

From this amount of ingredients, I got 8 flat cakes that 8 people can eat tightly.

What else can you bake at home? I offer you a choice of several recipes:

A wonderful representative of Asian cuisine. The secret to success is juicy minced and choux

A small amount of ingredients and ease of preparation make this dish so special. The product will be appreciated by both adults and the smallest gourmets. After all, in the end, delicious cheese cakes with ham will flaunt on the table.

First of all, pour the flour, all 300 grams, into a large round bowl. Add peeled eggs and mix the dough thoroughly. Next, add kefir to the whole mixture. For this dish, it is best to choose kefir of high fat content (3.2%). You can use both a mixer and improvised means for mixing ingredients.

It is necessary to ensure that the dough is not viscous, but not liquid. A cheese pancake with ham in a pan may burn due to too watery dough. Also, you need to maintain a balance so that the result will please you.

Add a little salt to the dough, it is very important not to overdo it. Keep in mind that ham itself, salted and salted dough can, in the end, spoil the overall taste. Place the finished dough in a cold place and cover with a towel.

The advantage of this recipe is that it is cooked in a pan. Thus, you can safely monitor how the frying occurs. The dough burned, or vice versa, still insufficiently prepared. In the oven, you can not always keep track of the baking process.

You can also complement cheese cakes with whatever your heart desires. Bell pepper, pickled cucumbers, chicken, peas, corn, zucchini, eggplant, various sausages - everything is perfect for cheese cakes with ham. The recipe can be supplemented with many other ingredients.

So, back to the very preparation of delicious cakes. Remove the dough from a cold place and mix it with half of all hard cheese (100 grams). Cheese must be pre-chopped into a coarse grater. It is important to ensure that the cheese is evenly distributed throughout the dough. Roll out the dough so that its thickness does not exceed half a centimeter.

The ready-made and rolled out dough should be divided into even circular pieces. Their radius should be about 10 centimeters. In fact, it depends on each housewife how exactly she sees her product in finished form. They can be made both smaller and larger in size.

Onions can be pickled in advance in vinegar and hot water, which will make its taste sweet and remove any unpleasant odor. Fresh onion lovers can just chop it finely and that's it. Also, it can be replaced with green onions, which have no specific smell, but are not inferior in taste.

All ingredients should be enough for 7 equally sized cakes. You need to divide onions, herbs and ham into 7 servings. Fill the dough with the filling and the remaining cheese. Wrap the dough so that in the end it does not "scatter" in the pan.

After all the cakes are reliably "sealed" in the dough layer, you need to roll them out again with a rolling pin. This will allow them to be larger and the dough thinner.

Absolutely any pan is suitable for frying cheese cakes with ham. Place a dry and clean frying pan on a large fire. Add a small amount of sunflower oil, then reduce the heat.

Fry the cakes so that they do not touch, otherwise the products will stick to each other and their appearance will not live up to expectations.

If desired, green onions, garlic or a little basil can be added to the recipe. These ingredients emphasize the palatability of the dish. You can also fry cheese cakes with ham in breadcrumbs. This will only enhance the taste of tortillas, the crust will be crispy, and inside there is an amazing combination of ham and hot cheese.

Such a dish will decorate any holiday table and will delight even the smallest guests. Cakes are convenient to take with you on the road and on picnics. Even when they cool, they won’t lose their amazing taste.
