Ingredients

  • White cabbage - 1 kg
  • Onion - 1 large head
  • Carrots - 1 large or 2 medium root vegetables
  • Smoked sausage - 200-250 grams
  • Tomato juice - 250-300 ml
  • Vegetable oil - for frying
  • Bay leaf - 2-3 leaves
  • Ground black pepper - to taste
  • Salt and sugar to taste

HOW TO PREPARE STAINED CABBAGE WITH SAUSAGE

Cut the sausage into semicircles or strips. Heat the sunflower oil in a deep skillet. Add the onions and carrots and fry until golden brown over medium heat for ten minutes. Add the sausage and cook for five minutes until crisp. Then add the shredded cabbage.

Ingredients

To prepare cabbage stewed with sausage in a slow cooker, you will need:

1 onion;
2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil;

150 g of boiled sausage;

400-500 g of white cabbage;

0.5-1 carrots;

1-2 tsp Sahara;
1 bay leaf;

2 tbsp. l. tomato paste;

salt, spices - to taste;

250-300 ml hot water.

Cooking steps

Cut the peeled onion into random pieces, put in a multicooker bowl, pour in vegetable oil. Set the "Frying" or "Baking" mode for 20 minutes. Fry the onions, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes. After that, add boiled sausage cut into cubes or pieces to the onion, fry for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Then add white cabbage cut into "cups" or slices and peeled carrots cut into cubes into the bowl.

Add tomato paste, salt, spices, sugar, bay leaf to the multicooker bowl to cabbage and sausage and pour in the remaining water.

Stir and set the "Quenching" function for 30 minutes.

Serve warm or chilled ready-made very tasty and satisfying cabbage, stewed with sausage in a slow cooker.

1. First of all, prepare vegetables - onions, carrots and bell peppers. They need to be washed, peeled and cut. The easiest way is to cut the vegetables into strips or cubes. Adjust the size of the cut at your discretion. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and spread vegetables.

  • dry paprika in powder or flakes - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1.5 tsp
  • black pepper - 0.5 tsp

How to stew cabbage with sausage in a pan

1. Chop the cabbage thinly. Cut the sausage into random pieces. Chop the onion and garlic with a knife.

2. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the onion until transparent. Do not fry until crusty! Add the garlic, stir and cook for another 1-2 minutes until the aroma appears. Pour the vinegar into the skillet and stir thoroughly to loosen any sticky pieces from the bottom.

3. Move the onion and garlic closer to the sides of the pan, and place the chopped sausages in the center. Fry for 2-3 minutes on each side to form a brown crust.
