A delicious way to prepare an orange muffin in a slow cooker. Cooking orange muffins in different ways

03.08.2019 Snacks

This winter orange muffin recipe should be in every housewife's notebook. Why? Because he is excellent. Everyone who baked it for the first time said in a voice that it was the most delicious and simplest homemade pastry that they had ever tried. I bake this orange muffin in a Redmond multicooker. But, of course, you can cook it in any other multicooker model, including in the oven. But in a slow cooker, of course, it turns out to be more magnificent and more tender. There is simply nothing to talk about. Of course, purely outwardly, my recipe may not be as spectacular as the others - bright and mouth-watering orange slices are not visible in the cupcake. But, take my word for it, this cake is so fragrant and with such a pronounced orange flavor that it essentially turns out to be such a whole sweet, sweet orange.

We need products:

  • 2 large ripe oranges,
  • 250 g sugar
  • 3 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 200 g butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 350 g flour

How to make an orange muffin in a slow cooker

Cooking is easy. Nothing will need to be melted or whipped. Just do not forget to add baking powder - the cake becomes fluffy thanks to it.

1. I take the butter out of the refrigerator a couple of hours before cooking so that it becomes soft.

2. My oranges, wipe dry and rub on a fine grater on all sides, peeling off the zest (the bright aromatic part of the orange peel).

3. Then I cut the oranges in half and squeeze out the juice. Now I do this with an ordinary manual citrus juicer, and before, when it was not there, I squeezed with an ordinary tablespoon, turning it inside an orange half. If bones accidentally get into the juice, I take them out.
4. Mix the butter with the sugar in a large bowl and add the vanilla sugar there.
5. I break eggs (there is no need to beat them). Mix again until smooth.
6. Pour in orange juice and add zest.

7. Stir flour with baking powder in a separate bowl. I do it with a whisk. The better the baking powder spreads over the flour, the smoother the cake will rise.

8. Pour flour into the dough, mix for a couple of minutes (that is, thoroughly).

9. I spread the dough in a multicooker, grease the bowl with oil beforehand - I use a silicone brush for this, it's mega-convenient!

10. I turn on the multicooker for the "Baking" mode. Time - 40 minutes. When I hear the ready signal, I open the lid, turn the cake over to the other side and turn on the Baking mode again. After 10 minutes I turn it off. The cake is made with a flat crust on all sides.

Just in case, I am writing an exact model of my multicooker - Redmond RMC-M70.

Ingredients:

  • wheat flour - 1 multi-glass
  • granulated sugar - 1 multi-glass
  • chicken eggs - 3 pcs.
  • butter - 50-80 gr
  • milk - 1 multi-glass
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • orange peel - 6-7 tsp

Orange muffins can be prepared in different ways: simply add orange zest or juice to the dough, or soak a ready-made muffin with orange syrup or icing. Consider the simplest multicooker orange muffin recipe that uses only sliced zest.

The zest is very easy to make. Pour boiling water over the orange, peel the skin, transfer it to the chopper and turn it on for a minute. Then transfer the zest to a jar, add sugar and refrigerate. The next day, this zest can already be used for the cake.

In this recipe, a Mirta MC 2211 multicooker was used. The volume of the bowl is 5 liters, so the cake for a small amount of ingredients will turn out to be low. If desired, you can use portioned silicone molds for. The baking turns out to be very tender, and the aroma of orange gives it special notes of taste, so absolutely everyone will like the cake and I can safely recommend it to the readers of the site. A video of the cooking process was also filmed for this recipe, which you can watch at the bottom of the page.

Cooking method

  1. Cut the soft butter into slices in a bowl.

  2. Add sugar.

  3. Stir in flour and baking soda (or baking powder). It is better to sift the flour, but if there is no sieve, then just pour it into a bowl. Stir the dough gently, not with a mixer.

  4. Pour in milk.

  5. Stir the dough until smooth and lay out the zest. Stir again.

  6. Place the dough in a greased bowl. Place the bowl in the multicooker, close the lid, turn on the "Bake" mode and do not open the lid for 40 minutes. It may take longer depending on the power of the multicooker. Leave the orange muffin in the multicooker for another 10 minutes, quickly checking it is done with a skewer - it should stay dry. If the cake is not baked, then turn it on for another 10-15 minutes.

  7. Cupcake with orange zest in a slow cooker is ready. Remove it from the bowl using the container steamer - this is the easiest and safest way to remove baked goods so that they remain intact. Then transfer to a plate or dish.

  8. Serve in portions on separate plates or saucers.

Such a cupcake is very tasty to drink with milk, but it is also ideal for tea drinking, especially in a cool season or in winter - the aroma of orange will help you wake up and warm up faster.

Delicious way to cook orange muffin in a slow cooker

Orange is one of the few baked goods that is very quick and easy to prepare. It is prepared from well-known and cheap products, probably available to every housewife.

The cake contains one of many favorite citrus fruits - orange, which gives baked goods an unprecedented taste and aroma. This delicacy will be appreciated not only by avid lovers of sweets, but also by those who love oranges and always try to choose desserts with them.

Airy orange cake recipes can be found in any cookbook these days for three reasons:

  • firstly, baking is prepared very quickly and simply - and this is a significant plus for many housewives;
  • secondly, this dish is very healthy, as it contains oranges;
  • well, and thirdly, both children and adults like orange-based cupcakes, so many housewives know their recipes;

If you are not a fan of juicy oranges, you can safely replace this ingredient with tangerines, grapefruit, lime, avocado, and so on. But it is better not to add fresh fruits to recipes, since they have little juice and pulp.

Your household, having tried such a dish, will constantly ask you to cook it again, since this pastry simply melts in your mouth and turns out to be fluffy, light and airy. And orange juice gives the baked goods a yellowish color, which improves their appearance and makes them appetizing.

This dish is prepared in a multicooker quickly enough, so many women use its recipes for "an emergency", for example, during a sudden arrival of guests.

Many women have long appreciated the capabilities of the multicooker. And this is not surprising, because this kitchen assistant is able to cook any dish deliciously, regardless of the complexity of the recipe.

The main advantages of making a muffin in a multicooker are:

  • Lack of dryness. Thanks to the constant cooking temperature, the orange cake will not dry for a long time.
  • No sticking. Covering the multicooker bowl will prevent baked goods from burning or sticking to the bottom while cooking.
  • The splendor of the dough. If you do not open the lid while baking, the dough will rise quite strongly, thanks to the even temperature, which "wraps" the bowl and allows the cake to rise faster and acquire fluffiness.

Looking at modern photos of the finished cake, it can be noted that the dish turns out to be no worse than store products, but, on the contrary, tastier, fresher and more appetizing.

Should I add my own ingredients to recipes?

Many women quite often add their own products to baked goods, believing that they will complement the dish with a unique taste. Certainly some recipes require this, but not orange muffin. It can only be supplemented with powdered sugar, which should be sprinkled on baked goods immediately after cooking.

Fruits, nuts, cinnamon, poppy seeds - all this will only worsen the taste.

Cooking method

Ingredients:

Step 1

Wash, dry and peel the orange. We squeeze juice out of it - it should turn out to be at least 60 ml.

Step 2

Beat the softened butter with sugar using a mixer, then add one egg to the mass, continuing to mix the future dough.

Step 3

Add lemon juice and vanillin in the resulting mass. Kneading the dough: add flour and baking powder to a plate and begin to gently stir the mixture. It is important not to damage the airiness.

Step 4

Thoroughly coat the multicooker bowl with oil, pour the dough into it and slightly level it with a spatula. If desired, you can add pulp or small slices of orange to the dough - the cake will only "benefit" from this.

Step 5

We turn on the multicooker, set the “Baking” mode for 95 minutes, and wait for the dish to cook. If your kitchen appliance has a lot of power, the time can be reduced to 70 minutes.

If desired, you can sprinkle the baked goods with powder.

That's all - the orange muffin in the slow cooker is ready. Many photos show that it turns out to be golden in color, very lush and appetizing.

Delicate, airy, fragrant - an excellent dessert for family tea drinking, this is an orange muffin that can be prepared in a slow cooker. Discover the opportunity to prepare delicious desserts with the addition of oranges in a slow cooker.

In order to get started, you need to prepare all the ingredients, and then follow the recommendations specified in the recipe. It is undesirable to change the amount of ingredients at your discretion. Otherwise, the cake may not be as fluffy and soft.

A list of everything you need:

  • oranges - 2 pcs.;
  • orange juice - 100 ml;
  • orange peel - a tablespoon without a slide;
  • sugar - a glass;
  • wheat flour (premium grade) - 370 g;
  • fresh chicken eggs - 3 pcs.;
  • homemade yogurt without additives - 150 g;
  • vegetable oil - 135 ml;
  • salt - a small pinch;
  • baking powder - 1 tablespoon

Dough kneading sequence and baking process:

  1. First you need to prepare the oranges: wash well and put them in a bowl of freshly boiled water. Excerpt - for 2 minutes, then you can proceed to squeeze out the juice and grate the zest on a fine grater.
  2. Why is this preparation necessary? The fact is that all citrus fruits are treated with wax before being sent on a long journey so that they do not deteriorate during storage. Therefore, you will have to get rid of this protection. Even if imported citrus fruits, in your opinion, are not treated with wax, such foresight does not hurt.
  3. The oranges need to be removed, wiped dry with a towel or paper napkins, then rolled on the table, pressing the fruit tightly in order to get more juice.
  4. We start kneading the dough: sift flour into a dry bowl, put baking powder. We take exactly a tablespoon, without a slide. Add a pinch of fine salt there and mix everything well.
  5. In a separate container, so that in the future it is convenient to knead the dough, you need to pour the sugar, immediately add the zest and grind these components thoroughly. You can use a whisk, spoon or fork. This is necessary so that some of the essential oils are released and the cake turns out to be fragrant.
  6. We put eggs and you can beat sugar with eggs with a mixer. If your eggs are small, feel free to take not 3, but 4 eggs.
  7. Beat eggs with a mixer for a long time, at least 5 minutes. But you can navigate by such signs: as soon as the sugar begins to dissolve, the mass will increase in volume and become lighter.
  8. Then you need to add natural yogurt to this mass. Suitable not only homemade, but also "Greek", with a fat content of 2%.
  9. Add orange juice and vegetable oil immediately. The oil must be odorless! This is a prerequisite, otherwise the taste and aroma of the cake will deteriorate.
  10. Everything needs to be mixed so that the mass is homogeneous, after which dry components are gradually introduced into the liquid part of the dough. Do this slowly so that the mass does not fall off.
  11. Knead the dough for a short time, as this is superfluous, as soon as the flour is kneaded, you can stop at this.
  12. Preparing the baking bowl: Grease the bottom and sides with vegetable oil (the one that was added to the dough).
  13. Then you can go in two ways. The first is to slice the orange along with the peel thinly, place the citrus fruit directly on the bottom of the multicooker, and then pour out all the dough. But, as practice has shown, an orange muffin in a multicooker turns out to be fragrant and airy, but the appearance will be unsightly, because the oranges will brown and this golden brown crust can literally turn black. To prevent this from happening, we recommend the second option: pour a little dough on the bottom, put the circles of oranges, then pour out the remaining dough and then cook according to the recipe.
  14. And in order to bake an orange muffin in a multicooker, you need to set the device in the "Bake" mode for 1 hour. After cooking (that is, the signal of readiness), the baked goods should be left for 5 minutes with the lid closed, then open the lid and set aside a little more time to cool down. After that, the cake can be taken out (a steamer grate is useful for this) and already cooled completely on the table.
  15. Please note that different devices have different power, so in some cases 45 minutes will be enough for baking, and for low-power devices - 1 hour.
  16. Ready, cooled orange cake in a slow cooker, you need to decorate with powdered sugar and can be immediately served at the table for family tea.

The cupcake turns out to be very aromatic, fluffy and tender. We wish you bon appetite and inspiration to make your orange muffin in a multicooker using this recipe!

Orange muffin in a slow cooker with vanilla

And again, nothing complicated, everything is quick and easy with a multicooker. The difference between this recipe is that the dough is prepared on the basis of butter, which means it will be tastier and more tender.

Baking ingredients:

  • large orange - 1 pc.;
  • eggs - 2 pcs.;
  • butter - 100 g or half a pack;
  • sugar - 1 multi-glass without a slide;

  • baking powder - 1.5 tsp;
  • vanilla sugar or vanilla - 1 tsp;
  • icing sugar for decoration - 1 multi-glass without a slide.

  1. Melt butter in a water bath. In order to do everything right, you need to: choose a small but deep bowl with thick walls. Put it in a frying pan, put a piece of butter. Turn on the slow heat of the stove so that the pan heats up slowly. The butter will gradually melt, you just need to remove the bowl to start kneading the dough.
  2. Let the oil cool while we need to grate the zest. To do this, pour boiling water over the orange or hold it in boiling water for a couple of minutes, then wipe it dry and use a fine grater to remove the upper, bright orange layer.
  3. After that, you need to squeeze out the juice and strain it, if necessary.
  4. Then you need to beat the eggs with sugar, without separating the whites from the yolks. The mixer will help to cope with the task.
  5. When you are done, switch the device to low speed, pour in the cooled oil, then flour (sift and mix with baking powder), add vanillin. Mix everything well with a mixer at minimum speed.
  6. At the end, pour in the juice, leaving 1 tablespoon for the glaze, add the zest. The dough will not be dense, just for a fluffy cake.
  7. Now grease the bottom and sides of the multicooker bowl, pour out the dough. Bake in Bake mode for half an hour. For low-power appliances, the baking time should be doubled.
  8. While the cake is baking, you can make a fragrant frosting. Just mix the icing sugar with a spoonful of orange juice.
  9. When the orange muffin is ready in the slow cooker, you take it out and cool it, you need to grease it with icing. You don't have to wait for it to cool completely, it is acceptable that the cake is barely warm. This cake is the most delicious and very tender. It's also beautiful in cut, so put on the kettle to enjoy this delicious multicooker orange muffin!
