Preparing the chicken.

Required Ingredients:

  • 20 ml olive oil
  • 40 grams of butter
  • one grapefruit
  • 10 grams of sugar
  • 7-8 grams of sesame seeds
  • garlic
  • ground black pepper

Cooking process:

  1. Be sure to wash the chicken quarters in water. Season with a little pepper and salt.

  2. Preheat the frying pan. For frying, it is better to use butter or olive oil, it is undesirable to use sunflower oil. For 10 minutes, lightly fry the meat in a skillet over low heat, turning it alternately.

  3. At the same time, you can start making the sauce. We need a juicy grapefruit, 40 grams of butter, 2-3 tablespoons of sugar and 3-4 cloves of garlic.

  4. Peel the fruit and cut the pulp into cubes.

  5. We take the frying pan from the stove as soon as a light golden crust appears on the meat.

  6. Place the chicken in a baking dish and place in the oven for 15-20 minutes. You can turn on the convection mode, which will significantly shorten the baking time of the meat. The baking temperature should be between 180-200 degrees Celsius.

  7. Melt the butter in a skillet and add finely chopped garlic for frying.

  8. After 2 minutes, pour our chopped grapefruit into the pan, add sugar, stir all the time over medium heat. After 7-8 minutes, the sauce will begin to thicken. Pour into a gravy boat.

I love oven baked chicken. Fragrant, with a golden crust, with garlic. I usually cook this dish when the children come to visit. And for myself I am doing a simplified version, which I want to tell you about.

Wash two chicken quarters thoroughly. If there is such a need, I burn the feathers and a yellow film on the shins.

I mix salt, pepper and garlic (you can use chicken seasoning or other favorite seasonings).

I stuff the chicken with this mixture and rub it.

I am preparing a mustard-honey sauce, for this I use American mustard (or another mild, sweet and sour) and honey.

I used this mustard in the sauce. This is a novelty of TM Torchin. It is not spicy, but sour for my taste, so it is ideal for marinating and roasting meat.

There was a lot of fat on the chicken, so I cut it off and put it on the bottom of the mold, which I later regretted. There was too much fat. But this did not affect the taste of the chicken.

I put it in the oven for 1 hour at a temperature of 180 degrees.

So that is all. The supper is ready.

It turned out delicious. Fried crust with sweet and sour taste, juicy meat with garlic.
I ate only half. Stopped in time. After all, it is already 21.30. And she made herself a promise not to eat after 18 and did not keep it.
