Chocolate sausage is a treat that children love.

Many housewives believe that the sausage recipe is quite complicated to perform, so not everyone undertakes to prepare such a delicacy. But in this they are greatly mistaken. In fact, chocolate sausage, the step-by-step recipe for which is described below, is very simple to prepare: you need simple products, a minimum of effort and very little time. As a result, an unusually tasty dessert will flaunt on the table. Are you already interested in how to make a sweet dessert at home, which even adults cannot pass by in a store, what can we say about children? Then rather read our article and remember.

The classic way to make sweet sausages

The original type of dessert is the main secret of love for this delicacy. Depending on the brand of cocoa chosen for preparation, you can get a “milk” or “smoked” sausage, but the “deliciousness” does not depend on this choice. Chocolate sausage is prepared from shortbread cookies, as well as the "potato" cake. By the way, some culinary specialists specifically buy broken cookies, they are cheaper, and this does not affect the quality of the product.

But you should not save on milk, butter and condensed milk. The main difference between sausages and many sweets is that it can be prepared without resorting to heat treatment. How to make chocolate sausage? You will need the following ingredients:

  • 400-500 g of cookies;
  • 200 g butter or margarine;
  • 1 tbsp. Sahara;
  • 3 tbsp. l. milk;
  • 1 egg;
  • 3 tbsp. l. cocoa powder;
  • 100 g of chopped nuts.

The ingredients in this dish are very simple and affordable.

Even a novice hostess will master the recipe itself. We will start cooking by chopping cookies. This can be done either with a meat grinder or blender, or manually. In order to make a sausage, it is not at all necessary to grind the cookies very much. In principle, it is enough just to break it down into large crumbs. But if you want the sausage to turn out more tender, then the cookies need to be finely crumbled.

Next, let's start preparing the main component of our sausage. To do this, you need to melt butter or margarine. Add milk, cocoa powder and sugar to it, mix everything well. The mass must be brought to a boil and left to cool. Now beat the egg with a whisk or fork, you can use a mixer. Mix the beaten egg with lukewarm icing and pour into the crushed cookies. Stir everything gently.

In order for our delicacy to turn out not only tasty, but also beautiful, as in the photo, it is necessary to form a sausage from the resulting mass.

This can be done in several ways. The simplest thing is to pour it into a ready-made form. But if one is not at hand, then foil and film will come to the rescue. Spread the film on the table and pour the chocolate mass over it. Gently shape the sausage, then wrap in foil and place in the freezer overnight. The treat should freeze well.

In the morning, unfold the foil and foil and cut the sausage into slices. The treat is ready - you can serve it on the table.

Mini sausages with condensed milk

The recipe we have given is far from the only one. Many housewives make adjustments by experimenting with ingredients. Here's another option for making a chocolate treat. Let's try to cook it with condensed milk.

  • 500 g cookies;
  • 380 g of condensed milk;
  • 200 g butter;
  • 5 tsp cocoa powder.

Wrap the finished dough in polyethylene and form the sausages

So, let's start preparing our sweet dessert. In the same way as in the previous version, we crush the cookies. Then you need to soften the oil. Precisely to soften, but in no case to melt. Mix cookies with butter. Add cocoa powder and condensed milk to the resulting mass and mix everything thoroughly again.

We form the sausage from the resulting mass. Making small bars or one large sausage is up to you. In order to make the dessert look appetizing and not lose its shape, we wrap it in paper or film and leave it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours. After this time, your chocolate sausage with condensed milk will be both beautiful and delicious.

What else can you add to the recipe?

If you are bored with the classic recipe for chocolate sausage, and now you want to cook a more original treat for your loved ones, then you can always make sausage from those ingredients that you and your family like best. For example, each housewife chooses cookies to her taste. Some people like Jubilee, others prefer a sweet cracker. The number of cookies can also vary.

If you want to make an unusual chocolate treat with condensed milk, but do not dare to radically change the recipe, then just add to the mass from which you will sculpt sausage, raisins, dried apricots or marmalade. Dried fruits should be pre-steamed, dried apricots should be finely chopped.

When preparing sausage with condensed milk, you need to slightly change the classic recipe. First, cut out sugar. It will be fully replenished by the sugar contained in condensed milk. As a result, you will get a very tender and sweet chocolate sausage with condensed milk.

In order for the dessert to turn out appetizing, we recommend supplementing the recipe: try to roll the ready-made sausage in coconut flakes. You can also use bright confectionery powder, powdered sugar, crushed nuts, finely grated waffles or cookie crumbs as a sprinkling. It all depends on what products are currently available, and, of course, on your desire to cook original sweets for your loved ones.

Anyone who has tasted chocolate sausage at least once knows for sure that this sweet delicacy has three indisputable advantages. It has a delicious taste, the recipe for its preparation is variable and simple, and the time spent on creating this culinary masterpiece does not exceed an hour. So how to make this delicacy at home - let's figure it out together today.

Timeless classics

Each dish has its own basic, traditional recipe. Let's try to make a chocolate sausage following this “classic” recipe.

Ingredients:

  • Cookies - 300 gr.;
  • sugar - 1/2 tbsp.;
  • butter - 300 gr.;
  • cocoa - 5 tablespoons

Preparation:

  1. Start your chocolate sausage by chopping cookies. You can choose the method for this yourself: break it with your hands into pieces of different sizes, pass it through a meat grinder, pour it into a bag and grind it with a rolling pin or a kitchen hammer. Or maybe you have another, more effective technique on this score?
  2. Melt the butter over low heat (it is more convenient to do this in a small saucepan), but constantly monitor the process so that the resulting liquid does not boil;
  3. Add sugar and cocoa, mix thoroughly until all ingredients are completely combined and turn into a homogeneous mass;
  4. Now is the time to prepare cling film where you will spread the sweet mass;
  5. Add pieces of cookies to the chocolate mixture, mix well so that they are evenly distributed;
  6. Remove the almost finished delicacy from the fire and put it in the prepared film. Let the mix cool down so you can easily form a sausage out of it;
  7. Place the sweetness in the refrigerator for 6-7 hours so that the form is finally fixed. And if you want to surprise your family as soon as possible, put the treat in the freezer for 2 - 3 hours. After this time, you can cut the chocolate sausage into portions and serve.

Gift for sweet tooth

If you are one of the condensed milk lovers, this recipe is definitely for you. By following it, you can make a chocolate sausage at home, which will have a particularly mild creamy taste.

Ingredients:

  • Condensed milk - 1 can (≈320-380 gr.)
  • Cookies - 600 gr.;
  • Butter - 200 gr.;
  • Cocoa - 5 tablespoons

Preparation:

  1. Cooking chocolate sausage, as in the first case, start by chopping the cookies. In this recipe, it will be more harmonious if you break half into rather large pieces, and make crumbs from the second half;
  2. Melt the butter in a deep container, but this must be done carefully so that it does not turn into liquid, but becomes puree;
  3. Add condensed milk and cocoa, whisk the mass thoroughly, prepare the film;
  4. Season the resulting mix with cookies, mix well, put everything on a film and form a sausage;
  5. Send the treats to the refrigerator for 7 hours or to the freezer for 3 hours, and serve after cutting.

If you want to make a less sweet chocolate sausage, just halve the amount of condensed milk and 400 g of cookies.

Marmalade happiness

This recipe is suitable for those who love marmalade and all the sweets it includes, because this particular ingredient is the "chip" of this dish. Start making chocolate sausage by choosing ingredients:

  • Biscuit cookies - 400 gr.;
  • Butter - 200 gr.;
  • Marmalade - 150 gr.;
  • Sugar - 1 tbsp.;
  • Cocoa - 3 tablespoons;
  • Chicken eggs - 1 pc.

You will also need water (~ 1 tablespoon) when you make the chocolate mixture.

Preparation:

  1. Grind the cookies so that the pieces are different sizes;
  2. Cut the marmalade into small cubes, mix them with cookies in a deep bowl;
  3. Mix the egg with 1/2 cup sugar, beat;
  4. Melt the butter over low heat, stirring continuously, add the egg mixture to it;
  5. Add cocoa, water and the second part of sugar to the resulting mix. Let the mixture simmer for 2 minutes to thicken. When this happens, pour it over the cookies and marmalade;
  6. Then everything needs to be done as described in the previous two recipes: pour the chocolate mixture onto cling film, form a sausage and send it to cool in the freezer for 3 hours.

You can use the chocolate-marmalade mix, which will turn out as a result, not for its intended purpose. It will be a great icing option for cakes, pastries and other delicacies. Have you got any ideas on this?

Intoxicating tango

If you like to cook with rum, brandy or cognac, this recipe will definitely suit you. We only offer you one option, but you can create your own masterpiece by experimenting.

Ingredients:

  • Butter (soft) - 300 gr.;
  • Cookies - 400 gr.;
  • Creamy or chocolate liqueur - 1/2 tbsp.;
  • Sugar - 3 tablespoons;

  • Cocoa - 4 tablespoons

Preparation:

  1. Start cooking with the same chopping of cookies;
  2. Beat the yolks with sugar, add butter, mix thoroughly;
  3. Add liquor and cookie pieces, stir thoroughly;
  4. Shape the sausages and refrigerate for 7 hours.

You can cook according to this recipe using other alcoholic beverages.

As you can see, preparing this delicacy is not at all difficult, even at home. We want to give you a couple more tips on how to improve the result of your efforts.

  • "Chocolate sausage" is just a conventional name. You can make slides, balls, cones, sticks or other shapes from a mixture of ingredients. Turn on your imagination and amaze yourself and others!
  • You can make this treat without using cocoa. Just buy dark chocolate instead and melt it in a water bath;
  • If there is no cling film at home, you can use foil or a simple plastic bag to form the sausage;
  • If you decide to cook an unusual dessert, you can add to it:
    • favorite dried fruits;
    • pieces of biscuit dough;
    • halva;
    • chopped nuts;
    • coconut flakes;
    • raisin;
    • nutmeg;
    • vanillin.
  • Keep in mind that the taste of the delicacy directly depends on the cookie you choose. A baked milk-flavored pastry will add the appropriate notes to the chocolate sausage. If you really need such a result - act, if not - buy "classic" cookies without additives and flavors.

Everyone can cook chocolate sausage, you should make your own efforts, and the sweet result will surely delight you and your friends.

The taste of chocolate sausage made from cookies is familiar to many, it is a favorite taste of childhood. This simple treat can be made for the holiday, or you can simply please your loved ones on the weekend. Very tasty and very simple to prepare. Children especially adore chocolate sausage.

  • 500 g biscuits
  • 1 pack (180-200 g) butter
  • 1 cup shelled walnuts
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 10-15 g vanilla sugar
  • 3-4 tbsp. l. cocoa powder
  • 6 tbsp. l. milk

You can take any cookies, both shortbread and unsweetened dry. I prefer Jubilee Traditional or Baked Milk.

Choose butter so that it softens easily at room temperature, with it, the chocolate cookie sausage will be more plastic.

Preparation:

In a dry frying pan, lightly fry the walnuts, stirring constantly, until the characteristic pleasant smell of roasted nuts appears. Pour immediately into a bowl, otherwise the nuts may burn in a hot frying pan.

Scroll 1/3 of the nuts and at least 1/3 (or maybe half) of the cookies in a meat grinder.

Break the remaining cookies into small pieces so that they can be clearly seen on the cut of the finished chocolate sausage.

Chop the remaining nuts with a knife, but not very finely.

Combine cookies and nuts with a scrolled mixture.

Mix evenly with two spoons.

Now let's make the chocolate sauce. To do this, mix cocoa powder, sugar and vanilla sugar in a small saucepan. If you don't have vanilla sugar on hand, you can do without it.

Add milk, stir until smooth and put on very low heat. Heat, stirring, for 7-10 minutes, no more, not allowing it to boil. During this time, the sugar has time to almost completely dissolve and will not be felt in the finished chocolate sausage.

Remove the saucepan from the heat. Let the sauce cool slightly, literally 5-7 minutes, and dip the butter into slices.

Stir with a spoon until the butter is completely dispersed and the chocolate sauce is completely homogeneous.

Pour the warm sauce into the cookies.

Mix thoroughly, without rushing. If it is difficult to stir with a spoon, you can do it just with your hand.

Depending on the type of cookies, and on the type of butter, too, the mixture for the chocolate sausage sometimes turns out to be rather dry, which makes it difficult to mold a dense sausage that does not crumble afterwards. For this unpleasant case, there is one little secret - you need to add a small beaten egg to the finished mixture, or at least half of it. The mixture becomes noticeably more plastic, and the sausage is molded without difficulty. But this time the egg was not needed.

So, divide the finished mixture in half. We put one half in a regular plastic bag, mine is 25 cm wide, and we form a dense chocolate sausage.

We do the same with the second half. We got two such cute chocolate sausages, about 22 cm long and about 5 cm in diameter:

I do not advise wrapping the mass in foil, since it firmly adheres to chilled chocolate sausages.

We put it in the refrigerator for 4-5 hours, or better at night. If you are completely unbearable, you can put it in the freezer for an hour, no more, and then try it with tea. Simply store the sausage in the refrigerator; you do not need to put it in the freezer.

And one more piece of advice. It is better to cut a chocolate sausage with a wide, so-called chef's, knife. The slices are smooth and do not crumble.

I wish you everything worked out and I hope you like the recipe.

The site also has a delicious homemade recipe. "Potato" is prepared even easier and faster than chocolate sausage, I strongly advise you to cook it.

And that's all for today. Good day to everyone and good luck.
Always cook with pleasure!

Smile! 🙂

Recipe for making chocolate sausage from cookies without condensed milk

  • Bitter chocolate - 1 bar.

  2. Melt the butter in a separate refractory container on very low heat.
  3. Then send chocolate into the butter and, stirring, dissolve it.
  4. Pour cocoa powder into this chocolate-butter mass, pour in condensed milk. Heat, stirring, until a homogeneous consistency is obtained.
  5. Mix cookies and nuts in a container.
  6. Pour the yummy taken from the fire here. Mix.
  7. Form an oblong sausage that resembles a classic salami. Wrap in plastic wrap.
  8. Put in the refrigerator.
