How to bake king prawns

Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon

Food preparation
1. Wash 250 grams of tiger prawns (about 14-15 pieces) and peel them so that the tail remains.
2. Cut the shrimp across the belly, remove the insides and open each shrimp.
3. Squeeze juice out of 1/4 lemon and sprinkle prepared shrimps with 1/3 of the juice.
4. Peel 20 grams of walnuts.
5. Grind peeled walnuts and 20 grams of salted crackers in a blender.
6. On a fine grater, grate 40 grams of Parmesan. If Parmesan is not available, it can be replaced with another aged hard cheese.
7. Peel 2 cloves of garlic, rinse them under water and cut each clove into 3 pieces.
8. Cut 70 grams of bacon into thin strips so that there are as many of them as shrimp.

How to bake shrimp
1. Put a frying pan on maximum heat and pour 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil into it.
2. Dip cloves of garlic into heated oil and fry for 1 minute.
3. Remove the garlic, then put the mixture of nuts and crackers into the pan.
4. Reduce heat to medium, add chopped cheese, remaining lemon juice, add oregano to taste and stir.
5. Put the unwrapped shrimp on a strip of bacon, put 1 teaspoon of the filling on it.
6. Spin the shrimp with the bacon.
7. Place baking paper on a baking sheet.
8. Place 1 shrimp wrapped in bacon on a baking paper.
9. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees until the bacon is browned for about 15-20 minutes.

Articles No. 176 and No. 177 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses provide for the imposition of fines in the amount of three to ten non-taxable minimum wages for the manufacture and storage of moonshine without the purpose of sale, for storage without the purpose of selling devices * for its production.

Article 12.43 repeats this information almost word for word. "Making or purchasing strong alcoholic beverages (moonshine), semi-finished products for their manufacture (mash), storage of apparatus for their manufacture" in the Code of the Republic of Belarus on Administrative Offenses. Clause No. 1 informs: "The production of strong alcoholic beverages (moonshine) by individuals, semi-finished products for their manufacture (mash), as well as the storage of devices * used for their manufacture, - entail a warning or a fine of up to five basic units with the confiscation of the specified drinks, semi-finished products and apparatus ".

* It is still possible to purchase moonshine stills for home use, since their second purpose is to distill water and obtain components for natural cosmetics and perfumery.

There are several tips that anyone can follow to boil shrimp deliciously.

  • When buying this seafood, you should pay attention to its color. Shrimps, which were boiled before freezing, that is, at the factory, have a pink color. Raw ones are gray.
  • After the shrimp are completely thawed, they should be rinsed under running water.
  • A pot of water is placed on the fire, into which half a lemon is squeezed out right before boiling, a bay leaf is thrown, a couple of pieces of black pepper and cloves. For fans of interesting flavors, you can add a little garlic or ginger.
  • If the shrimps are pink, then after boiling the water, place them in water for 2-3 minutes. After which they are thrown back into a colander to glass all the liquid, and are laid out on a plate.
  • If the shrimp are gray, that is, raw, the cooking time will increase. After the water boils, add the product to it and reduce the heat to medium. Cover the top with a lid and stir occasionally. Only very carefully, as they can easily break. Gray shrimps are boiled for 6-7 minutes. The finished seafood will float on the surface of the water and have a pleasant pink tint. After they have been fished out of the water, they are laid out on a platter, sprinkled with herbs and seasoned with lemon and a spoonful of olive oil.


Shrimp in the oven

Another simple, but very tasty dish is shrimp baked in the oven. In order to prepare this dish, you will need the following products:

  • shrimp (pre-peeled) - 400 g;
  • lemon juice - 1 tablespoon;
  • lemon zest - 1/2 teaspoon;
  • olive oil (vegetable oil is also allowed) - 1 tablespoon;
  • red pepper - 1 tablespoon;
  • garlic - 1-2 cloves;
  • parsley (already chopped) - 1 tablespoon.

The cooking process itself will not take more than 30 minutes. First you need to preheat the oven (250 degrees). The baking sheet where the shrimp will be baked is greased with oil. All ingredients, except parsley, are mixed. After the crustaceans laid out on a baking sheet are poured over the prepared mixture, they are placed in the oven for 10 minutes until they are completely cooked. The finished product is served sprinkled with parsley. Whoever wants can pour more lemon juice on top.



Fried shrimps with garlic

To cook shrimp with garlic you will need:

  • shrimp - 500 g;
  • garlic - 3 cloves;
  • vegetable or olive oil - 1-2 tablespoons;
  • salt, pepper, lemon - to taste.

First, you should first defrost the shrimp and rinse them. Then they are dipped in oil heated in a frying pan. For 8-10 minutes, they are fried over high heat until all the water has disappeared. After the shrimps are fried, add salt, pepper, and chopped garlic to them. Then, for 3 minutes, the whole mixture is stewed under the lid. After the time has elapsed, the hotplate turns off and the finished product is left in the pan for another 8-10 minutes.

Before serving, a lemon is cut, which is served along with the crustaceans.



Shrimp kebab

In addition to the main product (800 grams of shrimp), to prepare the marinade we need:

  • chili sauce - 4 tablespoons;
  • olive oil - 4 tablespoons;
  • cloves of garlic - 8 pieces;
  • sugar - 4 teaspoons;
  • salt - on the tip of the knife.

In a bowl, combine all the ingredients for the marinade. Then shrimps are placed in the finished mixture, where they are marinated for one to two hours. Finished shrimp are evenly spaced on skewers. Skewered seafood is placed on a preheated grill, where it is fried on both sides until tender.



Stuffed potatoes

It will seem to many that shrimp and potatoes do not go well at all, however, this is a misconception. Potatoes baked in the oven and stuffed with shrimps and cucumbers are perfect for an everyday dinner or for any celebration. To prepare this simple dish, you will need the following set of products:

  • 4 pieces of large potatoes;
  • 150 grams of boiled shrimp;
  • 1 peeled cucumber;
  • 50 grams of hard cheese grated on a coarse grater;
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream;
  • 1-2 tablespoons of mayonnaise;
  • salt to taste;
  • vegetable oil.

You will also need baking foil.

We wash the potatoes well under running water, grease them with oil, wrap them in foil and send them to a preheated oven for one hour. While it is baking, prepare the filling. The peeled cucumber is finely diced. If the shrimp is large enough, they can be cut in half. After cutting the ingredients for the filling, combine them in a separate plate, add mayonnaise, sour cream and some of the grated cheese. Cut the center out of the baked potatoes with a spoon so that the sides are not too thin. Mix the extracted center with the filling. After that, salt the finished potato molds inside and fill with the mixture, sprinkle with cheese on top and put in the oven for another 10 minutes.


Due to the rather high price, not everyone can afford to indulge themselves with shrimp often. However, when there is an opportunity to buy them, you should definitely do this, because the dishes prepared from these crustaceans turn out to be unusually tasty and tender.
