1. Wash the apples well, peel them off with a knife or peeler, then cut them in half, remove the cores and cut them into thin slices.

2. Whisk a small egg, a spoonful of cold water, baking soda (baking powder) and sugar in a bowl. Beat the food until foam forms.

Attention! In this case, you do not need to extinguish soda with vinegar; sour kefir will replace the vinegar during cooking.

  • 3 tablespoons of sifted flour;
  • 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar;
  • 30 grams of butter, the same fat as for the pie, butter.

We take out the oil from the refrigerator, let it soften at room temperature, but for now we will deal with apples. If you decide to quickly defrost butter in the microwave, remember that in this case the fatty dairy product loses its beneficial properties. I do not recommend doing this, it is best to keep the oil in the room for half an hour.

Mine, clean apples from seeds and cut them into small slices with a knife. Optionally, if you take apples with thick skin, it is better to peel it too. I use homemade apples with thin skin, and therefore I will not peel them this time.

To prepare this cake, I always take sweet and sour crumbly, but with dense pulp, varieties of fruits, they are best suited for this dish, fill the baked goods with minks of a special taste and aroma.
