Take the butter out of the refrigerator in advance and let it soften.

Grate the boiled sausage on a medium grater and add to the butter in a bowl.

Grate the hard cheese on a coarse grater and also send it to a bowl. Mix the filling well. You do not need to salt the filling, since both cheese and sausage are usually salty.

The first version of the sandwich: put the filling on one piece of bread and cover it with the second piece of bread.

Cut the sandwiches diagonally.

The second option is an open sandwich. We just spread the filling of butter, cheese and sausage on the bread.

We spread the sandwiches on a baking sheet. We send it to the oven preheated to 180 degrees C for 10 minutes if you are preparing open sandwiches. And if you prefer the closed sandwich option, then after 10 minutes, remove the baking sheet from the oven and turn the sandwiches over. Send them back to the oven for 5 minutes, so that the top slices of bread are browned too.

Hot sandwiches with sausage and cheese in the oven, as always, were a success! We take them out of the oven and immediately serve them hot.
