Ham sandwiches are different and varied, I will show you my favorite option - with mustard and egg spread. Just put a ham, a cucumber on a greased piece of bread, it's delicious, but you try the sandwiches in this version - after them you won't want the usual ones.

Such sandwiches can be prepared for lunch, for a picnic and a trip to nature, or maybe the recipe is useful for someone for breakfast;) And what, with sweet tea, it's even nothing.

So, prepare chicken eggs, mayonnaise, prepared mustard, salt, ground pepper, gray or black bread, ham, fresh cucumber. Boil the eggs, and when they cool, peel and grate. Add mayonnaise, mustard, salt and ground pepper.

Stir in the mustard and egg spread. If you want more piquancy, you can add pressed garlic to it, I did not add.

Use sliced ​​black or gray bread, white or toast bread will not work. If the bread is not sliced, use a sharp knife to cut it into pieces of equal thickness. In total, you will need 5 slices of bread - we will prepare 5 sandwiches.

Spread the mustard and egg spread on the bread slices. Cut the ham into thin slices.

Also cut the cucumber into thin slices, 5 slices into 5 sandwiches (or 10, if two). Place the ham slices on top of the sandwiches.

Place cucumber slices on top of the ham. If you have fresh herbs on hand, you can use them to decorate sandwiches. Although you can do without greenery.

  • mayonnaise;
  • garlic;

  2. The ham (balyk) should be thinly sliced ​​to 3 mm thick. The taste of the cheese is very important, you should choose a quality aged hard cheese, not spicy. Slice thickness 2 mm.
  3. Cut tomatoes and cucumbers into thin slices, cucumbers 2 mm thick, tomatoes 3 mm thick. Place 2 slices of bread in a mirror (this is necessary for the subsequent correct assembly of the sandwich).
  4. Spread 0.5 tablespoons of mayonnaise on top of each bite. Lay out the cheese. The cheese should cover the entire surface of the bread slice, so if one slice is missing, add more cheese.
  5. Place the ham on one of the slices with a slight overlap. Put cucumber slices on the ham.

If it seems to someone that the cheese is dry, he can choose the time to his taste. The gas oven is more difficult, but you can also choose the temperature and interval. So far, the whole preparation process took 2-3 minutes.
  8. While the sandwiches are baking, the happy owners of a person to whom you can bring coffee to bed can start making coffee. My hot sandwiches have exactly this main purpose - an integral part of breakfast in bed. Those who cannot make coffee for some reason can do something more different.
  • To prepare cold snacks or hot sandwiches, you can use absolutely any bread: black, white, whole grain, loaves, baguettes, rolls. The main thing is that the bread is not sweet, because sweet loaves are not particularly combined with meat ham and possible vegetables.
  • If you don't have a piece of bread at hand, but you want to have a snack, use dry biscuits, thin not sweet shortbread cookies, croquettes for making sandwiches.
  • You can complement any ham sandwich, especially if it contains cheese, with chopped roasted walnuts, which will add more satiety and an interesting taste to the dish.

  • If you want hot sandwiches, but you don't want to heat up the oven, and you don't have a microwave, use a slow cooker. Here it is enough to stand the sandwiches on the "Baking" mode for 7 minutes.

I usually make hot sandwiches just by putting a slice of ham or sausage and cheese on top, and I bake it that way. Today I decided to try another option, with the addition of eggs. It turned out very interesting, nutritious and tender.
