Boiled condensed milk potato cake. Potato cake with condensed milk

A famous sweetness is the Potato cake with condensed milk, it is easy to prepare from cookies, crackers or a classic biscuit.

The Potato cake is a fairly well-known delicacy loved by many. Its preparation will not force you to stand at the stove for a long time, stirring or whipping cream. Everything is simple in this recipe - after all, ready-made shortbread cookies are used.

  • 300 g of shortbread cookies (as usual I took “For coffee” cookies);
  • 80 g of condensed milk;
  • 100 g of high-fat butter;
  • 2 tbsp. l. cocoa;
  • very few kernels of walnuts;
  • a pinch of vanilla sugar (I always put vanilla, but this is not necessary).

Grind cookies and nuts in a blender. Many people use a meat grinder for this purpose. I usually don't use it - it takes longer to wash.

We mix condensed milk, butter and cocoa, as in the photo. Pour vanilla sugar there.

And with the help of a fork, we begin to mix. As a result, we get a soft, homogeneous chocolate structure, mass.

Add crushed crumbs to it, leaving a little for sprinkling. Next, mix again, as you already understood, until smooth.

Now the fun begins (especially for children) - we take a small piece of "dough" and roll it into a ball.

Roll it in crumbs and put it on a beautiful dish, like in the photo.

We leave in the refrigerator for an hour. Then we take out and enjoy a delicious cake from childhood.

The taste of the "Potato" pastry cake will become richer if you add two or three tablespoons of cognac, rum or liqueur to it during cooking.

Recipe 2, step by step: cake potatoes with condensed milk and cocoa

It is difficult to find a person who would not have tasted the "Potato" cakes, because this is a real taste of childhood! They are prepared very simply and quickly, literally out of nothing. To feed a large family with a delicious dessert, you will need a pack of cookies, half a can of condensed milk, some butter and cocoa. Economical and very appetizing!

  • shortbread cookies - 300 g;
  • butter - 90-100 g;
  • condensed milk - 160 g (0.5 cans);
  • cocoa powder - 3 tsp + for sending ready-made cakes;
  • cognac - 0.5 tbsp. l .;
  • icing sugar - for dusting.

Remove the oil from the refrigerator and leave on the table until softened (for 20-40 minutes, depending on its quality). Add condensed milk to the soft butter. It is important to use a quality product that contains only whole cow's milk and sugar.

This condensed milk is thick and tasty. To get a more interesting taste, you can put boiled condensed milk, then the "potato" will have a caramel flavor.

Pour brandy into a bowl of butter and condensed milk.

Stir the mixture until smooth. If desired, you can beat with a mixer. If there are small oil grains in the mixture, it's okay, this will not affect the quality of the finished cakes.

Grind the cookies into crumbs in any convenient way. The easiest and fastest is to interrupt with a blender. If you don't have a blender, you can use a meat grinder to grind the cookies. You can also fold it into a tight bag (or 2 medium density) and crush it with a rolling pin.

Pour the sand crumbs into the chocolate butter mass.

Stir with a spatula until a viscous consistency. The mass will turn out to be brown or light brown, and in consistency it will slightly resemble shortbread dough.

Form small oblong cakes with your hands, similar to potato tubers. To prevent the "dough" from sticking, your palms can be moistened with water or greased with a thin layer of odorless vegetable oil. Cover the formed cakes with cling film and refrigerate for 5-8 hours.

Dip the "potatoes" in a mixture of cocoa powder and powdered sugar.

Can be served with tea, coffee, cocoa or other favorite cold or hot drinks.

Bon Appetit!

Recipe 3: cake potatoes with condensed milk and butter (with photo)

  • Wheat flour of the highest grade -150 gr.
  • Sugar - sand - 150 gr.
  • Chicken eggs - 150 gr.
  • Condensed milk - 200 gr.
  • Butter - 150 gr.
  • Cognac -30 ml.
  • Cocoa powder - 10 gr.
  • Any rum - 30 ml.
  • Powdered sugar - 10 gr.

Let's make a biscuit. Beat the yolks with sugar until the mixture turns white, then slowly add the pre-sifted flour and mix quickly. Beat the whites separately until peaks form and slowly introduce them into the dough again. It is done separately so that more air remains in the biscuit and it remains fluffy even after baking. Next, take a baking dish, pre-grease it with butter and pour the mixture into it. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees. We bake the biscuit for 35-40 minutes.

We take out the biscuit from the oven, let it cool down, or even better it will stand a little longer.

Because if it dries up, it will be easier to cut it to get small pieces.

If there is no time to wait, then it is enough to dry in the oven and grind in a blender.

Add biscuit crumbs, rum and cognac to the cream, mix everything well.

We sculpt cakes in the form of potatoes from the mass, roll them in a mixture of cocoa and powder. Then we let them lie down for a while, and repeat the procedure again.

The cream, left by us for decoration in advance, is used for its intended purpose.

Place the cakes in the refrigerator for 2 hours, let them soak.

We take it out of the refrigerator, lie down for a bit and you can eat.

Recipe 4: GOST potato cake with condensed milk

So, here is a historical recipe. It was he in the country that bore the name of the USSR, which was prepared in restaurants, cafes and cookery. We remember this taste from childhood and try to reproduce it in moments of nostalgia.

But I warn you right away that this cake contains a small dose of alcohol to improve the taste. And therefore, decide for yourself whether you will treat them to children.

  • 550 g shortbread cookies,
  • 250 g butter,
  • 100 g of condensed milk,
  • 130 g granulated sugar
  • 4 tbsp. l. cocoa (30 g),
  • cognac or rum - 4 tbsp. l. (40 g).

As always, we will grind the cookies into crumbs. Do this at will in any way you can. For example, in a blender or coffee grinder.

In the same recipe, we will do everything by hand using a rolling pin. Now I'll tell you how.

We take two bags, insert one into the other for strength. Pour the cookies inside and carefully go over it with a rolling pin. You can use a hammer and beat off all the cookies.

Pour the crumb into a deep bowl.

Grind sugar into icing sugar. Pour it into a separate bowl. Pour in vanillin. Put the melted butter there.

We take a mixer and beat this mass until the oil and powder are completely combined. In time it will take about 3 minutes.

Then we introduce condensed milk, whisking it constantly. We've got a cream.

Pour cocoa into the cookies. Stir until smooth. Then add butter cream and pour in brandy or rum.

For children, you can replace alcohol with grape juice.

Stir until the dough becomes plastic.

Separately grind another 80 g of biscuits for sprinkling.

Roll the balls and roll in nuts and crumbs.

Freeze the entire dessert in the freezer for about an hour.

Recipe 5: cake potatoes from rusks with condensed milk

A potato cake is prepared from bread crumbs and condensed milk. Cooking will not take much time - even an inexperienced housewife can easily handle it. It turns out a cake that is moderately sweet, with a rich chocolate taste, and has a delicate grainy texture. Pets will definitely appreciate it, especially the little sweet tooth will like it!

So let's get down to cooking. From a given quantity of products, it turns out about 7-14 pieces, it all depends on what size you will make the cakes.

  • Crackers (butter without raisins) - 300 g
  • Condensed milk - 0.5 cans
  • Granulated sugar - 7 tbsp.
  • Walnuts - about 1 cup
  • Butter - ½ pack (about 90 g)
  • Cocoa - 20g
  • Pasteurized milk - 4 tbsp. lodges
  • Vanilla

Twist crackers through a meat grinder

Set aside some kernels for the eyes of our Potato. Grind the rest of the nuts with a blender, an attachment that is used to chop ice. If you don't have a blender, it's easy to do it the other way - just put the nuts in a plastic bag and mash them with a rolling pin on a cutting board. Then add the nuts to the crushed breadcrumbs.

We take a deep cup, pour in sugar, vanillin, cocoa, add condensed milk and butter. The butter must be kept warm beforehand so that it becomes soft.

Beat everything thoroughly with a mixer, blender, or an ordinary fork. By the way, to make the mixture more homogeneous, it is better to use fine sugar. Otherwise, the grains of sugar in the finished cakes will crunch on your teeth - which not everyone will like.

Here's what you should get.

It remains to pour pasteurized milk into the resulting mass, and you can start sculpting cakes. Add milk gradually. The mass should stick slightly to your hands, but at the same time, keep its shape well.

Actually, here is the sculpting process itself. You need to take a little mass, form a dense lump with your hands, which then give an oblong shape of potatoes. Next, roll them in cocoa. We make "sprouts" from the pending nuts. The Potato cake is ready. We will leave it for several hours in a cold place so that it is properly soaked.

These are the cakes we got! Enjoy your tea!

Recipe 6: cake potatoes with condensed milk and sour cream

  • bread crumbs - 300 g;
  • condensed milk - 200 g;
  • sour cream 20% - 400 g;
  • butter - 100 g;
  • cocoa powder - 2 tablespoons;
  • vanillin - 1 g;
  • coconut flakes - for decoration

I load all the necessary ingredients into the mixer bowl. That is, I put butter there, turning on the mixer at first at low speed, gradually increasing to maximum. I add sour cream, condensed milk, vanillin.

The last ingredient I add to the cream is cocoa powder.

Dry the loaf and then pass the crackers through a meat grinder. You get bread crumbs. I prepare such rusks in advance.

But you can also buy ready-made bread crumbs in the store, but they are finely ground and tasteless, in my opinion.

Add breadcrumbs to the resulting cream (you may need more) and mix. It turns out a plastic dough.

From this dough, with wet hands, I mold cakes in the form of small potato tubers.

I use coke shavings for decoration.

Sprinkle the already stuck cakes with coconut. Rather, I roll the cake in coconut flakes.

I put the finished cakes on a dish.

The cake is made very quickly. The cake is very economical in terms of material resources. The cake is delicious.

And you can't even say that such a wonderful cake is made from ordinary crackers.

Recipe 7: biscuit potato cake with condensed milk cream

for a classic biscuit:

  • 6 eggs
  • 1.5 cups sugar
  • 1.5 cups or 225 grams of flour,

for cream:

  • 200 grams of butter
  • 100 grams of powdered sugar
  • 100-110 grams of condensed milk,
  • rum (optional),

for breading:

  • 3-4 tablespoons of cocoa.

Cooking a sponge cake in a slow cooker. In a deep bowl on a high mixer speed, beat the eggs into a foam.

Gradually start adding sugar to the beaten eggs, without stopping beating. You cannot put all the sugar at once, otherwise the biscuit will not rise.

Add flour and mix gently with a mixer at the lowest speed.

Lubricate the multicooker saucepan with vegetable oil. The sides of the mold cannot be greased, the biscuit cannot rise. Pour the biscuit dough into a multicooker saucepan.

We bake the biscuit on the “Baking” mode for 80 minutes.

Remove the biscuit using the steaming insert.

The biscuit needs to stand for several hours, or better overnight, before proceeding with the preparation of the cake.

Cut the biscuit into small pieces and twist it in a meat grinder.

Then we will prepare the cream. To do this, grind softened butter with powdered sugar until a fluffy mass is obtained. Little by little add condensed milk to the butter, without stopping whipping.

Set aside 1 tablespoon of the cream, we will decorate the cakes with it. Put the rest of the cream on biscuit crumbs and add a dessert spoon of rum (optional!).

Mix everything thoroughly until you get a mass from which you can sculpt.

How to make a potato cake

Any cookie is suitable for dessert, which is well kneaded to a state of very small crumbs. Pour the cookies into a deep bowl.

Grind with a crush or blender without leaving large pieces. You can pass it through a meat grinder - it's more convenient and faster.

Pour in three tablespoons of cocoa powder. If the cocoa is with lumps, then immediately sift it through a sieve or, after adding, grind it well with a spoon.

Pour condensed milk at room temperature into a bowl. Add soft butter (no need to melt, just keep warm for one or two hours).

Mix cookies with cocoa. We mix condensed milk and butter. We combine both mixtures.

First, mix the sweet mass with a spoon, then with your hands, until all the components are collected in a dense sticky lump that does not fall apart.

Gathering about a tablespoon, we form the cakes, giving them a slightly elongated, rounded shape so that they look like small potatoes. Put it on a plate and put it in the refrigerator for three to four hours.

Before serving, sprinkle the chilled cakes with a thick layer of cocoa powder, always through a sieve. For decoration, you can use sour cream mixed with sugar, sweet butter (put droplets on top of the cakes), or leave it as it is. We serve the Potato cake with any hot drinks: unsweetened coffee, cocoa, tea. Bon Appetit!

Biscuit "potato" - the most delicious cake

There are many quick homemade recipes for the condensed milk biscuit potato cake, but these pastries are noticeably inferior in taste and texture to their classic biscuit version.

In the confectionery industry, there is always a lot of crumbs after cutting biscuits, forming cakes. At home, there is no ready-made biscuit crumb, so the cake needs to be specially baked, dried, chopped.

Many are accustomed to the completely brown "potato", it has a rich chocolate flavor. But according to the proposed recipe, a cake is obtained that looks like a real potato: dark on the outside, and light on the inside.

Ingredients for the cream:

  • butter - 120 g;
  • icing sugar - 80 g;
  • condensed milk - 60 g.

Sprinkling products:

  • icing sugar - 30 g;
  • cocoa powder - 20 g.

Cooking method:

  1. Bake a classic biscuit with 4 medium eggs, 120 g sugar and 120 g flour. When beating eggs, you do not need to separate the yolks from the whites. This recipe assumes the most simplified method for preparing the cake. A couple of tablespoons of flour can be replaced with starch. Add cocoa powder to the dough if desired. The biscuit is baked the day before, so that it has time to ripen.
  2. Grind the sponge cake with a blender, meat grinder or hands. If you are cooking with dried biscuit, you can grate it.
  3. The crumb should not be too dry for the cake to have a delicate texture.
  4. Prepare all the products for the cream: butter, condensed milk, powdered sugar. The oil should be soft (optimal temperature is 21 degrees), so remove it from the refrigerator beforehand.
  5. Whisk butter with icing sugar. It is convenient to pre-cut it into cubes. Gradually add condensed milk, continue whisking. You will have a soft elastic mass.
  6. Add the cream to the biscuit crumbs, stir. You will have a mixture that is easy to mold. Place some of the cream in a piping bag with a fine round nozzle (useful for decorating dessert).
  7. After wetting your hands in water, form "potatoes" from the dough. They can be of any shape: round, elongated, very small or large.
  8. Prepare a sprinkle of cocoa and powder. Sift these ingredients into a flat bowl and stir until the color is uniform. Adjust the shade of the mixture as you wish. If the sprinkling seems too light for you, add more cocoa. The color saturation will be affected by the quality of the cocoa. Dip each potato in sweet brown powder.
  9. To make the product believable, make grooves on the surface of the finished "potato", and deposit the prepared cream from a pastry bag in the form of shoots in them. This will make the cake look more like its root vegetable prototype. In other recipes, half a peanut seed is placed on top of the cake to solve this problem.

Place the cooked potatoes in the refrigerator. It will taste better in a few hours.

If the perfect cake base is not obtained (it did not rise properly, the donkey is dry, cracked, burnt), the best way out of the situation is to make the Potato cake from an unsuccessful biscuit with condensed milk.

To cook the legendary "Potato" according to GOST, use Charlotte cream instead of condensed milk. To prepare it, bring a glass of milk (250 ml) to a boil, dissolve sugar (220 g) in it, boil for 2 minutes.

In a separate bowl, beat a small chicken egg until lightly foamy. Then pour the egg mass in a thin stream into hot sweet milk (stir all the time). Warm up the mixture until boiling with vigorous stirring, boil for 1-2 minutes. In terms of consistency, the custard base should look like a thin condensed milk.

Pour the mixture into a cold container. When the mass has cooled, continue making the cream. Whisk butter, add milk syrup, beat. Add one tablespoon of cognac and vanilla essence or vanilla sugar packet. This cream is enough for two of these cakes, as indicated in the recipe.
