Lay out the finished sausage (its length should be about 25 or 50 cm) in a semicircle, cross the free ends and stick them to the base of the pretzel. Make the same sausages from the rest of the dough, mold 16 (or 32) pretzels, place them on a greased baking sheet and let stand for 15-20 minutes. Meanwhile, fill a large saucepan with water, put it on fire, bring to a boil and put in 1 tbsp. l. salt and 1 tsp. Sahara. Use your hands or a slotted spoon to take 1 large bretzel (or 3 smaller bretzels), put them in boiling water and cook over high heat until they “grab” (about 2-3 minutes). Put the finished bretzels on a wire rack and dry. Line a baking sheet with oiled parchment, place the bretzels on it, grease each product with a beaten egg, sprinkle with coarse salt, caraway seeds, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, curry or poppy seeds, put in an oven heated to 210 ° C and bake for 25-35 minutes (up to the appearance of a golden color). Cool the finished bretzels slightly and serve warm with mustard for a cold beer.
