What kind of porridge to cook with minced meat. Millet porridge with fried minced meat and onions

02.07.2020 Healthy eating

Thanks to the multicooker, we increasingly began to cook dishes from cereals, the preparation of which on the stove was very difficult. This is how porridge, wheat and corn grits, millet appeared. Cooking cereal dishes has its own characteristics. This applies primarily to the preparation of cereals. It is precisely the thoroughly washed cereal that makes the porridge so tasty. This process cannot be ignored, as the mulch makes the porridge sticky, and the fat on the grains makes the dish bitter. It is also very important to observe the proportions of the amount of cereal and water. Otherwise, you can completely rely on the multicooker. Be sure to give the porridge a rebuke. The taste will only improve from this. Wheat porridge with meat in a slow cooker turns out to be hearty and very tasty, and this step-by-step recipe with a photo will help you cook it correctly.

Wheat porridge with meat in a slow cooker: a recipe

We will prepare all the necessary ingredients.

Wash the meat, dry it and cut into small cubes. Pour wheat groats with warm water, shake and drain all the light impurities that have surfaced. After that, fill it again with warm water (about 35 C) and, rubbing it with your hand, rinse it until the turbidity created by the mulch (flour dust) disappears completely. Then we rinse the cereals in hot water (about 95 C) to remove the fat that appears on the grains during storage.

Wash carrots, peel and rub on a coarse or medium grater. We clean the onions and chop finely.

Pour sunflower oil into the multicooker bowl and put onions and carrots.

Using the "Menu" button, select the "Fry" or "Baking" mode and with the lid open and stirring occasionally, fry the vegetables until soft (about 7-8 minutes).

Add meat and garlic. All together, stirring, fry for about 10 minutes. Disable the mode.

Pour hot water into a bowl, add spices and salt to taste.

Using the "Menu" button, select the "Extinguishing" mode, press the "Start" button and extinguish with the lid closed for about 30 minutes.

Pour in the prepared cereal and stir.

Change the program to the "Groats" or "Buckwheat" mode and press the "Start" button, cook until the end of the program beeps. After that, we leave to sweat on the "Heating" mode for 15 minutes.

When serving, you can sprinkle the dish with chopped herbs. Bon Appetit!!!

Delicate hearty porridge for an everyday lunch. Nothing complicated here, everything is simple and fast. All you need is: a glass of millet, a couple of small onions, 100 grams of fresh ground beef, salt and pepper, vegetable oil or ghee. You put water in a kettle to boil. While it is noisy and humming, you pour the millet into a volumetric cup and rinse the cereal, repeatedly pouring and draining the water.
As soon as the water boils, partly scald the washed millet. Now it will be especially tasty and cook quickly - in 15-20 minutes.
Pour the rest of the water into a saucepan with a thick bottom, bring to a second boil and add cereal to it.

While the millet is boiling, you will have time to peel two onions and chop them into cubes.
Next, you put a frying pan on the stove, pour oil or fat into it. Warm up. Check the readiness of the oil by throwing a small onion block into it. Danced, hissed an onion particle? Add the whole onion.
Stir it for a while until it becomes transparent and yellow in color.
Now the minced meat. Why fresh? Because fresh minced meat is dry and crumbly, which means it will not stick together in a frying pan into lumps.
Stir the minced meat with the onion and fry them together for a while.
Add spices at the same time. For example, ground cilantro.
Salt with the norm of salt, spreading it over the minced meat with onions and over the porridge puffing in a saucepan.
As soon as the minced meat turns dark brown, transfer the onion, minced meat and remaining oil to a pot of porridge.
Millet is already ready by that time and there should be practically no water left in it.
Stir everything together. Cover the pot with a lid. Turn off the stove and let the porridge sweat under the lid for another 10-15 minutes. To heighten the effect, you can wrap the saucepan with a towel.

How to cook minced meat and millet meat patties

For millet dishes, I use portioned sachets. It is very convenient!

Cook cereals according to the instructions on the package, in plain water. The water can be slightly salted. It took me 25 minutes to cook the cereal. As a result, about 1 glass of millet porridge is obtained.

Peel one medium onion (100 grams), cut into slices and chop in a blender or food processor. You can mince the onion or grate it on a coarse grater.

I used minced pork - 300 grams. Delicious cutlets are made from mixed minced pork and beef or chicken.

Knead the base for the cutlets. Add chopped onion, millet, 1 chicken egg and 0.5 teaspoon of table salt to the minced meat.

We mix everything in the most thorough way.

Pour bread crumbs or a special bread mixture into a plate. We form cutlets from minced meat and roll them on all sides in a sprinkle.

Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and lay out the cutlets with millet and minced meat. Set a small fire and cover the pan with a lid.

As soon as the bottom layer of cutlets forms a golden brown crust, turn them over.

We fry our meat cutlets with millet and minced meat under the lid until cooked.

7 fragrant and very tasty cutlets are obtained from the declared ingredients. Try and surprise your loved ones with something new. I am sure that such a dish will appeal to all members of your family and will diversify the menu.

How to cook delicious millet porridge with minced meat in a slow cooker

The first step is to take care of vegetables. We peel carrots, onions and garlic from the husks and skins. Finely chop the onion and garlic cloves on a cutting board, and chop the carrots on a coarse grater.

We wash the millet groats several times with water, for this we take a fine sieve. We put millet aside, it will be needed a little later.

Pour sunflower oil into a multicooker. Add chopped onions and grated carrots. Stir and set the "Fry" mode for 3 minutes.

Then put the minced pork, stir and fry for another 4 minutes in the same mode.

Introduce millet and garlic into the multicooker bowl for vegetables, add finely chopped dill sprigs, salt and black pepper. Stir the products with a wooden spatula until smooth.

Fill with warm water and stir well. We set the "Porridge" mode for 30 minutes.

After the cooking process, if desired, leave the dish in the "Heating" mode. I want to note that even in the off state, the multicooker with a closed lid retains heat for a long time.

An unsweetened version of millet porridge with minced meat in a slow cooker is ready! Serve warm and garnish with chopped green onions on top. Bon Appetit!

I never cooked wheat porridge, but when I was in the store I just took it, I didn't even know what I would do with it. When I came home, I put it in with all the cereals and safely forgot about it. Yesterday I just broke my head with thoughts of what to cook, climbed into the cupboard with cereals and began to sort out everything there, and quite by accident came across this porridge, well, so I decided to cook it, the method of cooking the porridge was written on the package, I changed it a little like this cooked in a slow cooker.
And so for the preparation of wheat porridge, we need the following ingredients: wheat groats 1.5 cups, 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil, minced pork 200 grams, onion 1 head, 1 piece of carrots, salt, from seasonings I had black ground pepper and dried Dill.
To begin with, we need to cook porridge, for this we pour three glasses of water into the multicooker bowl, and wait until it boils, after the water has boiled, we need to salt it, and add 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil, pour 1.5 cups of wheat groats into the water.

Stir, put the porridge in the mode for 10 minutes, then turn off the multicooker and leave the porridge to infuse for 40 minutes.

While our porridge is being prepared, we take the minced meat, put it in a pan with sunflower oil, add onions, grated carrots, salt, black pepper and dried dill, fry everything until tender.

After the porridge is infused, add the minced meat fried with carrots to the slow cooker.

We mix everything.
