Since childhood, I did not like boiled beef liver salads, because it always seemed to me that chicken is softer, more delicate and more aromatic. However, time has shown that this is not so - quite recently, being at a family holiday with my mother-in-law, I tried an absolutely amazing and very tasty salad with beef liver, falling in love with it immediately and forever.

Having rewritten the recipe, I literally cooked several versions of this delicious dish for the first time yesterday, and today after breakfast I contemplate empty salad bowls. Needless to say, my loved ones really liked the salads.

Did you know? In a salad with beef liver, carrots and pickles, you can add a little more hard cream or sausage cheese grated on a coarse grater. In addition, try to choose a simple and high-quality "Provencal" for pouring without flavors or dyes.

  1. We wash the liver thoroughly and we get rid of tendons, films and other unwanted elements.
  2. After that, put it in a saucepan and cook for about half an hour.
  3. Let the meat cool slightly and cut it into strips or cubes.
  4. Mayonnaise fall asleep with pepper and salt, then beat on medium speed for about a minute.
  5. We wash the onions and carrots, then rub on a coarse or medium grater.

Important! How long does it take to cook beef liver for salad? There can be no exact answer - it all depends on the quantity, freshness and quality of the component you purchased. In my experience, a fresher liver cooks faster, but an old one can be cooked for an hour.
