Here we prepare them in different ways.

Omelet, salad, pie, focacci-type tortillas, homemade noodles, all kinds of salads - these are just some of the dishes that I cook from nettles. And during the season we eat soup with nettles and eggs at least once a week.

There are many recipes for nettle soup. Let's start with the easiest ones, and then move on to some interesting little-known variations.

The easiest recipe. Nettle soup turns out to be completely dietary - there is no "frying" in it, which means there is no fat. “Slimming” ladies can quite afford it, if potatoes are excluded from the composition of the products. The calorie content of such a soup is low - about 40 kcal per 100 g.

Ingredients

  • A large bunch of fresh young nettles (about 200 g);
  • 800 ml of water, chicken or meat broth;
  • two medium-sized potatoes;
  • one egg;
  • small bay leaf;
  • ground black pepper;
  • salt.

How to cook

  • First rinse nettles in running water, then blanch in boiling water for a couple of minutes, cool in cold water, chop with a knife.

How to cook

Rinse the collected nettles in clean water.

  • 700 ml of water or broth;

  • 150 g fresh or frozen spinach
  • 40 g butter;
  • 30 ml olive oil;
  • one medium onion bulb;
  • a tiny pinch of ground nutmeg;

  • two eggs;
  • 40 g flour or starch.

How to cook
