1. Finely chop fresh cabbage, and grate raw beets in the form of shavings. For cutting vegetables, Burner graters are very convenient, the happy owner of which I am.
2. Mix chopped vegetables, salt, pepper, add horseradish and mayonnaise. Mix again thoroughly and put on a plate. It is advisable to season the salad before serving so that the vegetables do not have time to let the juice flow.
Surely you know that a beautifully served dish stimulates the appetite, so I recommend decorating the salad with parsley or dill and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

I offer an easy-to-prepare but very tasty "Ruddy Cheeks" salad. I borrowed the recipe from friends many years ago and since then I have been making this salad quite often.
Now he is one of the most beloved by children.
For cooking, we need the following ingredients:
Basically, the amount of food can be adjusted depending on how many people you need to feed.
My homemade pickles, that is, without vinegar. But pickled ones are also very tasty, so try and find your ideal option.
There should be a lot of beets, so I then added one more. So, only 5 pieces.
Cut all ingredients into medium-sized cubes. Very handy if you have a special attachment in your food processor to cut vegetables into cubes. I don't have one, so I cut with a knife myself.
I cut the onion into thin strips, but this is a matter of taste.
Lay out the salad in layers:
1st - potatoes
3rd - cucumbers
4th - carrots
6th - beets
I usually cook it in a large salad bowl with high sides, but now I show it in a simple plate so that you can see everything.
So, the first layer is potatoes. Top mesh of mayonnaise.
It is advisable not to smear the mayonnaise or crush the layers, then the salad will turn out to be airy and not dry.
Then onions and again a net of mayonnaise.
Onions are followed by cucumbers and mayonnaise.
Then carrots and eggs. It is important that the eggs are chopped and not grated. This will greatly affect the taste of the salad in general.
Lay out the top layer from boiled beets. We make a net of mayonnaise and decorate with green onions, you can also rub the yolk on a fine grater.
