Do not rush, do not say

Crumbs on the floor do not litter.

Bon appetit! A lot of useful tips about eating a child after a year, you will learn by watching the video. You can also see clearly how to cook some of the dishes described above.

People are born healthy, and food makes them sick. Therefore, proper and balanced nutrition, practiced from early childhood, is the key to good health and proper all-round development. The first complementary foods are introduced to the baby at the age of 6 months, at the same time “pedagogical feeding” is most often practiced. Its essence lies in accustoming the child to a proper landing at the table and holding any objects (spoons, forks).

The first "adult food" for the baby

In the period from 6 to 11 months, the child’s diet is replenished almost every day. This is interesting for both parents and the baby, and, of course, extremely useful. The first lure can be fruit and vegetable puree, lean meat, fish, cereals, cottage cheese dishes. At this time, the gastrointestinal tract adapts to solid food, thereby preparing for the assimilation of a more "serious" food. Undoubtedly, it's time for mom to fully master and apply recipes for children for the year.

When and how much to feed the baby?

When your baby is one year old, it is worth making a choice between 5 and 4 meals a day. Due to the fact that it contains more satisfying foods, more often by the age of one and a half years he refuses the last meal. The “adult” four-time regimen is distributed in such a way that between meals was from 3 to 4 hours. Experts say that this time is enough to assimilate food. It is important not to deviate from the established schedule: the maximum error cannot exceed 30 minutes. This accuracy contributes to the good functioning of the digestive system, excellent appetite and sufficient production of gastric juice. If the schedule as such does not exist, then the level of juice produced is very small, it does not cope with the food consumed and leads to problems with stool. Adults are recommended to have snacks, and how to feed a one-year-old baby between main meals? Juices, dairy products, fruits and sweets spoil the appetite and reduce the production of gastric juice. Therefore, you should not sacrifice the health of the baby for the sake of momentary weakness, pamper him delicious.

Daily allowance in the diet of a one-year-old baby

Keeping track of the calorie content of foods and the daily intake of proteins, fats and carbohydrates is an important aspect of a healthy diet. When adding meals for a one-year-old child to the daily diet, pay attention to the following: the amount of food for a child from 12 to 18 months should not exceed 1200 ml, and calorie content should not exceed 1300 kcal. Distributing them evenly throughout the day is quite simple: 25% should relate to breakfast and dinner, 35% should relate to lunch, and the remaining 15% should be for afternoon tea. As for the weight of the child, then 1 kg of protein is required - 4 g, fat - 4 g, carbohydrates - 16 g. Animals should also be distributed and their ratio in the child’s diet should be 70:30.

How to surprise the baby at the table?

Dishes for a 1 year old child are slightly different from those that you previously prepared for him. First of all, this is a larger assortment of products, as well as a change in the method of their preparation, layout, degree of grinding. Do not forget about the interesting design of the served dishes, developing accompaniment and feeding in a playful way. Recipes for children for the year are quite diverse, so it will not be difficult for you to surprise and interest your baby every time.

First courses for kids

Soups for children 1 year old stimulate the active production of gastric juice, thereby preparing the ground for the proper absorption of the second dish. The variety of first courses has no limits: soups can be meat, fish, chicken, milk, vegetable and even fruit.

Meat soups

Meat soups for children of 1 year are prepared on the basis of the broth. To do this, take 1 kg of meat, preferably lean, poured with 3 liters of water, salted and cooked over low heat. It is important to remove the formed foam in time. At the same time, lightly fry the onions and carrots. When the meat is ready, it is laid in another dish, and fry and greens are added to the broth. The broth is ready. Here are some recipes for soups on

  • carrots - ½ pcs.;
  • parsley root;
  • egg - 1 pc.;
  • onion;
  • greenery;
  • salt.

Preparation: chopped carrots are dipped into the prepared broth and Boiled beef, along with onions and bread, is passed through a meat grinder, salted, knead with half an egg and form balls. The meatballs are lowered into the broth and cooked for no more than 10 minutes. The soup is seasoned with herbs.

Vegetable soups

Recipes for children 1 year of vegetables are varied and useful. For example, for cooking soups, you can use zucchini, spinach, peas, beans, carrots, potatoes. And this is not the whole list of vegetables.

Classic Vegetable Soup

Ingredients:

  • zucchini, turnip, green beans, cauliflower - 25 g each;
  • potatoes - 1 pc.;
  • green peas - 1-2 tablespoons;
  • onions - ½ pcs.;
  • milk - 100 g;
  • butter - 1 tsp

Preparation: Rinse the vegetables well, cut them into cubes, put them in a saucepan and add water. Simmer until tender, cool slightly, grind in a blender, season with oil and herbs.

Fish and Chicken Soups

Recipes for one-year-old babies based on chicken or fish broth must be in the diet. The principle of their preparation is the same as that of meat first courses: ready-made broths are taken as a basis, cereals, dumplings, homemade noodles, vegetables, greens are added to them - all at your discretion.

Second courses: year-old baby food

Air meringue

To prepare this simple dessert you will need 3 proteins, separated from the yolk with special pickiness (this is the key to success in cooking), and 2 glasses of sugar. The components must be folded into a tall dish and thoroughly beat until a thick and dense uniform foam is obtained. Put the baking sheet with the “dough” in a cold oven, bake at a temperature of no more than 115 ° C for 40 minutes. You can’t immediately take out the pan from the oven: you need to open the door and let it cool in such conditions.

Strawberry mousse

Light, airy and incredibly delicious dessert will surely appeal to your baby.

Ingredients:

  • strawberries - 0.5 kg;
  • water - 1/2 cup;
  • semolina - 2 tablespoons;
  • sugar - 2 tablespoons.

Preparation: wipe the berries through a fine sieve. Pour the rest (cake) with water, pour semolina and cook for about 10 minutes. Cool semolina and beat with a blender, gradually introducing sugar and mashed potatoes resulting from grinding. The lush mass is laid out on creamers and put in the refrigerator until completely solidified.

If you do not want to bake, then the best option, quick and healthy, will be curd desserts, prepared independently. To do this, take homemade cottage cheese, a little sour cream and beat thoroughly, adding sugar, vanilla, fresh berries and fruits. You can also add honey, dried apricots and raisins.

Great menu. Thanks for the recipes. There is a reason for the whole family to switch to proper healthy nutrition - thanks to the child. QUESTION - Is it possible for a child (1 year old) to cook in a slow cooker?
Answer:  Marina, thanks for the comment! Yes you can.

Olesya: | June 15th, 2017 | 3:56 pm

The menu is good, varied. I read a lot of books and articles, I liked this menu. I appreciated pumpkin soup with chicken, casserole of zucchini and carrots, scrambled eggs as in a kindergarten (it turns out my slow cooker doesn’t do it right, 25 minutes and a lot of holes, not looking at the fact that it is tall enough and very tasty) .You need to try your recipe for all family. And the rest of the meat and vegetables in the soup we mashed because they spit out the pieces, and scattered the stewed vegetables, very fond of dad's plate geechka, pasta, rice, tea. We are 1 year 4 months old
Answer:  Olesya, thanks for the comment and your experience! Bon appetit for the baby! In my father’s plate is always the most delicious :)

Julia: | December 2nd, 2015 | 8:36 pm

And I discovered a casserole of zucchini and carrots. I already left a recipe for myself! Only instead of zucchini I want to try a pumpkin. I think it will be no worse)))

Hope: | October 21st, 2015 | 11:00 p.m.

We are a year and a month, with 8 months we have 8 teeth, this menu is quite suitable. Despite the fact that there are no chewing teeth, the baby does not tear and does not choke on any slices, on the contrary, he does not like food crushed in mashed potatoes and gnaws on various bagels, cookies, etc., tries to chew pieces of meat, fish and vegetables. Everything presented on the menu eats with pleasure, no problems!

Anna: | October 18th, 2015 | 9:39 pp

Thanks for the recipes, I really like the daughter. We are in 5 days a year and we have 12 teeth, so my mannyun already chews everything)

Chulpan: | October 10th, 2015 | 9:28 pm

Hello!
  Our daughter is now a year old. She has 8 teeth. There is no chewing yet. She too vomits from pieces. And I do not understand this panic about the fact that it is necessary at this age to learn to chew. But what if you learn to chew when chewing teeth appear? Do you think it’s too late and the child will not learn? All vital actions go at the level of reflexes. Biting teeth appeared - the child began to bite, there were chewing teeth - he learned to chew. And while he cannot chew food, it will be poorly digested and absorbed by the body. The body is very difficult to digest unshredded pieces. Try to swallow such food yourself. Then there will be problems with the stool. In extreme cases, the pieces should be soft so that the child can crush the gums. Another thing is when he asks for such food and tries to stretch the pieces. I think we should try a little bit and only soft pieces. What kind of casseroles are there? The child will remain upset and hungry, or well-fed, but will be capricious due to pain in the tummy. It is not necessary to focus on age, but on the number of teeth, i.e. the willingness of the body to process and absorb such food.

Samira: | October 1st, 2015 | 1:35 pm

in my 10 days old, we cook soups on the broth, only agusha porridge, apple puree, banana, I didn’t give fish even once,

Julia: | September 4th, 2015 | 1:40 pp

My 1.1 year old. Somehow, this menu is not very suitable for us - 8 teeth, but we are too lazy to chew, we have to parry everything on a blender, because if small pieces come across, immediately vomits the child, so meatballs and baked apples are definitely not for us))
Answer: Julia, of course, you need to look at the child. Different children begin to chew pieces at different ages. And baked apples are actually applesauce. It is enough to free the apple from the skin and knead with a fork. Or skip through the blender.

Shoira: | June 24th, 2015 | 8:49 dp

We are 1 year 1 month. 8 teeth. As the heat began, it ceased to eat normally. He drinks well. Eats bread. The rest spits out almost everything. How many times a day to give a rosehip. What to feed in the summer in the heat?
  Can I contact you as a doctor? Daughter 1 year 1 month crawls well. But until she walks herself. Only holds on to 2 pens and tiptoe. He wants to walk but is afraid. It costs 1-2 minutes without support. How to stimulate her to walk? Sleeps poorly at night. Sleeps 2-2.5 hours during the day. and then with me. 20 minutes without me. By evening, falling asleep by 8 o’clock, aching, with music with chest. And it starts to wake up at 10, at 12, at 3, at 5. All the time it whines, whimsical. Hanging on the chest. Tossing and turning. If I watch tv she gets up comes even asleep. And so every day. In the morning we walk in the evening, too. I can’t walk for pens constantly, my back hurts
Answer:  Shoira, yes, now is a difficult period. What can I advise: hearty feed before bedtime, so that the child rarely wakes up at night. After a year, only my mother’s breast is not enough, you need to feed a full dinner. For example, before going to bed, you can give cottage cheese with kefir + breast before falling asleep. And only breasts + bread - this can not be called a complete diet for a child of this age. If you do not eat anything else due to the heat, then this is temporary, it will go away with normalization of the weather, just drink and feed more during the non-hot time of the day (morning, evening). If the problem exists on dry days, then reconsider approaches to nutrition and teach the child to eat other foods besides bread, primarily vegetables, fruits, berries, dairy products. If you give your child the opportunity to choose what he wants to eat, then children will prefer high-calorie carbohydrate foods (sweets, pastries, etc.). Therefore, it is important to teach the child to eat right and make healthy food choices for him.

A cool menu, we are 1.7 years old and we enjoy eating a lot, of course, without overcooking, although I overcook onions with carrots in a fish casserole, it is still baked later. Thank you great menu!)
Answer:  Hope, I'm glad that the menu was like!

Natalya: | September 23rd, 2014 | 8:58 dp

And I just think that the sooner a child is accustomed to an adult table, the better. So pedagogical feeding says. Previously, our grandmothers were not prepared separately for children. There was no time. The farm occupied all the time. There was no time to play with the children, but then stand standing up in the kitchen. Everything was done on the stove. Without steamers and crock-pots. Slightly lower the onions with carrots is the opposite good. And this is not frying. Good menu. I put the five. The child will learn to chew faster.

The baby's nutrition after 1.5 years is expanding significantly. New dishes and new products appear on the menu. It is no longer necessary to grind food, as in the first year of life. Ingredients can be cut into small pieces, and not grind in a meat grinder or blender. The nutrition of a child at this age is five times a day, three of which are the main meals, and two are snacks. One serving of food for a child older than a year is 250-300 grams.

The diet includes light soups, vegetable and fruit purees, meat and fish, meatballs, meatballs and meatballs, milk porridge. Use sour cream or vegetable oil to fill meals. You can add a little salt and pepper, herbs. When introducing a new product, each time monitor the baby's reaction for two days, so that there is no allergy or eating disorder.

Heavy and junk food should be discarded. Do not feed your baby fried foods, mushrooms, smoked and canned foods, marinades and pickles, sauces and seafood. For detailed information on what products are not recommended for children under 3 years old, see. And in this article we will learn recipes for children 1.5-2 years old.

Salads and omelets

Salads and omelettes are suitable as breakfast, snacks for dinner or a snack. By the way, for omelet and other dishes, you can take quail, not chicken eggs, if the baby has a food allergy to protein. Instead of chicken in this case, use a turkey. This is a dietary, hypoallergenic and more tender meat.
