Features of choosing a hanger for meat

To maintain cleanliness, hangers should be periodically washed with water and detergents, dried-on dirt should be removed and treated with hot steam. Hooks from the hanger are washed on standard dishwasher equipment.

Storage in freezers and refrigerators

You can store carcasses in open form or in production packaging. When storing in the freezer, it is necessary to install the hanger so that the meat is minimally exposed to the air flow from the fans - this reduces weight loss from shrinkage during storage. It is not recommended to move meat for thawing to production facilities with thermal equipment, and preparation for storage can be carried out on refrigeration equipment with gradual or shock cooling to -18 - -25 C.
