This dish will require:

Preparation

Catfish with sour cream

Composition:

  • Catfish fillet - 0.8 kg;
  • Cabbage - 250 g;
  • Sour cream - a glass;
  • Hard cheese - 150 g;
  • Young tomatoes - 2 pcs;
  • Olive oil.

We wash the peeled fish and cut into pieces. Shred cabbage and cut tomatoes. Grate the cheese. Pour olive oil into a multicooker container. The products must be laid out in layers: at the very bottom - cabbage, then tomatoes, and on top - fish.

  • Fresh catfish (whole carcass) - 700-800 gr.

  • Sour cream - 2-3 tbsp. l.
  • Lemon juice from ½ lemon
  • Vegetable oil - 30 gr.
  • Spices for fish, salt - to taste
  • Dill to taste.

You can use dill, both fresh and dried or frozen - whatever is at hand.

Preparation

    1. Catfish thoroughly with three brush. Although there are no scales on it, the skin is covered with a layer of mucus, which must be removed as much as possible. We remove the insides and cut into portions. Rinse thoroughly under running water.
    1. We put the fish in a bowl, season with spices, salt and lemon juice. Stir so that each piece is covered with the dressing and place the dishes in the refrigerator for an hour. During this time, the fish will be marinated.
    2. Cut the onion into rings, rub the carrots on a coarse grater. We put it on the bottom of the multicooker bowl so that the entire space is closed. We form a "pillow" for the fish.
  1. Rub the cheese on a coarse grater, mix it with sour cream, add a little salt and add dill. Stir until smooth.
  2. After an hour, remove the catfish from the refrigerator and lay it out on a vegetable pillow in one layer. Top each piece generously with cheese sauce.
  3. In the "Baking" mode, cook the fish for 45 minutes. This is the optimal cooking time.

  3. We wash the catfish, rub with salt and ground pepper. It is advisable to use white - it is more aromatic and less pungent. This is the most suitable pepper for fish. If it is not at hand, use black and fragrant in the mixture.
  4. While the broth is being cooked, the fish will be marinated.

This recipe for cooking fish is useful for those who adhere to proper nutrition. It can also be called lean. After all, fish is allowed on certain days of fasting, and besides it, the dish contains only vegetables. By the way, this recipe refers to duet dishes: after all, there is fish meat, side dish and gravy.

I used to cook. This was the first experience of cooking a dish from this fish. And despite the appearance of the fish covered with mud, the taste of the meat made me very happy. Thanks to the correct processing of the fish, I achieved that there was neither taste nor smell of mud at all. Today I will once again tell you how to properly process fish and how to actually cook catfish, stewed with vegetables in a slow cooker.

It is very easy to cook and eat catfish fish, because it does not contain scales and small bones. All that needs to be done is to clear the top and inside of mucus (rinse thoroughly under cold water). I will use the center part of the fish, which I will later cut into steaks. I have already used the tail on the ear. The correct butchering of a catfish head is "the whole story", but I did without it, because I still have the meatiest part of the catfish, which I will stew together with vegetables in a slow cooker.

  1. Catfish - 200-300 grams
  2. Bulgarian pepper - 1 piece
  3. Bow - 1 head
  4. Carrots - 1 piece
  5. Chopped tomatoes, or tomatoes (2 pieces) - 4 tbsp. l.
  6. Tomato paste - ½ multi-glass
  7. Lemon - half
  8. Bay leaf - 2 pieces
  9. Allspice black pepper - 5 pieces
  10. Salt - 2 pinches

First you need to prepare the fish: clean it from mud and mucus, inside and out. Cut the catfish carcass into steaks and soak in the juice of half a lemon, diluted in half with water, for 30 minutes.

While the fish is marinating, let's do the gravy. Peel and dice the onions and carrots. Pour oil into a multicooker bowl so that it covers the bottom, put the vegetables and start the “Browning” program for 10 - 20 minutes. Stir during this time.

Then cut the pepper into cubes.

After the end of the “Toasting” program, add bell pepper, chopped tomatoes and tomato paste. Add tomato paste to add a sweet taste to the dish. Mix everything and turn on the "Baking" program for 10 - 20 minutes.

Then add fish, bay leaves, black peppercorns, salt, 1.5 multi-glasses of water. We put the spices in order to finally beat off the taste of the mud. We turn on the "Quenching" program for 30 minutes. If the gravy turns out to be thin, bring it to the "Pastry".
