The most sustainable combination of ingredients in salads with soft feta cheese: cheese, olives and olives. Most of the light snacks are based on this tradition.

  • 1 tbsp. a spoonful of white wine vinegar;

  • a few parsley leaves.

How to make a vegetable salad with feta cheese and aromatic dressing

1. Prepare your vegetables. If using cherry tomatoes, cut them into quarters. Cut regular tomatoes in half, remove seeds and juice from them, and then cut into small cubes.

2. Cut the cucumbers into small cubes.

3. Finely chop the onion. If it's too bitter, put it in a cup and cover with boiling water. After 1 minute, drain the water, squeeze the onion out of excess liquid with your hands.

4. Cut feta cheese into small cubes.

5. Place the vegetables and cheese in a convenient bowl.

6. Prepare the dressing. Remove a thin layer of zest from the lemon, cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice out of it.

7. 1/2 garlic clove through a press.

8. In a small bowl, combine lemon zest and juice, garlic, vinegar and olive oil. Mix thoroughly.

9. Just before serving, pour the dressing over the salad, stir all the ingredients and garnish with parsley leaves. Salad with feta cheese, vegetables and aromatic dressing is ready, can be served

It is best to eat it fresh and not leave it for later. If you want to prepare the salad in advance, then cut the vegetables, put them in a plate, cover with cling film and send them to the refrigerator. The dressing can also be prepared in a few hours and stored in the refrigerator. When the time comes to serve the salad with feta cheese on the table, just remove the film from the plate, pour the dressing over the vegetables and stir.

I really like the combination of salted feta cheese with fresh vegetables, and therefore I often cook at home such a very simple and really very tasty and healthy (fresh vegetables!) Salad.
To prepare it, like other dishes in my performance, you will not need a lot of time and exotic products - everything is available in any supermarket.
So, the products (I indicate the quantity for 2 servings):

Before cooking, all vegetables are well washed and dried.
Unlike the traditional "Snack" salad, it is categorically not recommended to cut food into this salad finely, all the pieces should be about the same size.
First, cut fresh cucumbers into 3-4 mm thick rings. Should you peel them off? I usually shoot partly from the side where it is darker because it is harder and accumulates more nitrates.


Next, we cut the sweet red pepper, by the way, you can replace it with sweet yellow, then the salad will look like a traffic light :)


And then grind one large or a couple of small tomatoes:


During the preparation of a vegetable salad with cheese, I immediately put all the cut products in the plates in which it will be served and then I refuel there, and do not mix in a common salad bowl.
I do this because Feta cheese is very fragile and if you then start mixing all the ingredients in a large bowl, it can crumble a lot and lose its appetizing appearance, and even turn on vegetables.
Now we cut a young onion, depending on the size, we take 1-2 heads. Here we cut it into thin rings, it is NOT necessary to scald it with boiling water.


Well, now the most important thing is cheese.
We cut it into cubes about 1.5 by 1.5 centimeters in size, and a little more is possible.


And dill greens (well dried) to complete the image of our dish (cut finely):


Now, having combined all the chopped food in the plate, add the final touches. First, put raw white sesame seeds:


Then a special mixture of seasonings for Feta. This mixture is sold ready-made and is called so.


Now we salt a little, despite the fact that the cheese is quite salty, it must be slightly salted so that the vegetables give juice and taste better.


And we fill everything with olive oil, I would not recommend replacing it with sunflower oil, our white cheese loves exactly olive oil.


All is ready. It can be served both as a side dish and as an independent dish, it is very tasty to eat such a salad with fresh black "Borodino" bread.
