    After the liquid in the pan has reached a boil, pour all the prepared dried fruits into water and cook them for 10 minutes on low heat. After the specified time, remove the pan from the heat and leave the fruit to insist and soften for another 2 hours.

    Pour the indicated amount of poppy into a deep bowl, fill it with the first portion of boiling water, rinse thoroughly and drain the water. After that, fill the poppy again with boiling water and leave it to infuse at room temperature under a closed lid for 30 minutes.

    Drain the water from the bowl, transfer the softened poppy itself to a mortar or a suitable dish, add sugar and grind the ingredients to a homogeneous state.

    We transfer a small amount of walnuts that have already been peeled onto a baking sheet and slightly dry in a preheated oven, then cool and grind with a sharp knife or in a blender. You can also pour the kernels of nuts into a towel and crush them with a kitchen hammer.   Wash raisins and pour boiling water for about 15-20 minutes.
