3. Add the minced meat to the onion, salt.  Simmer until the liquid has evaporated and the mince is fully cooked.

4. Make mashed potatoes.How to do it: drain the water from the pan with potatoes, but not completely, leave a little bit at the bottom. Crush potatoes well, add butter and hot milk. Mix well. Add an egg. Stir quickly to prevent cooking.

5. Grease the baking dish with butter. Put half the potatoes, flatten.

6. Put a layer of minced meat.Squeeze the minced meat lightly into the potatoes.

7. Then lay out the remaining potatoes.Carefully flatten with a spoon. Just gently squeeze the mashed potatoes into the minced meat. This is necessary so that the resulting casserole does not delaminate when we arrange it in portions.

8. Top with breadcrumbs.  You can grease with egg yolk, then you get an appetizing crust, such as I got on.

9. Bake in the oven at a temperature of 180-200 degrees until a golden crust appears.

10. Cut the warm casserole into portions.  Top can be greased with sour cream.

For little children, it is better to cook not from minced meat, but from boiled meat. Pass the boiled meat through a meat grinder. Fry onions, add minced meat from boiled meat to it. Strain until the onions are soft. You can not fry the onions, but scroll it along with the meat through a meat grinder.
