Households liked the tasty boiled pork very much, so I decided to repeat it - and then the idea came up: what if we try to combine two in one, meat and side dish? So there was a recipe for baked meat with potatoes in foil.

The potato baked in the company of boiled pork is very tender, with a particularly appetizing taste. Here you have a juicy baked meat, and a delicious side dish to it. The only drawback is that a lot of potatoes do not fit in the foil, so for a large family it is better to cook such a dish in a baking sleeve. But then the taste will be slightly different: if in the foil the taste is closer to the dishes on the fire, then in the sleeve it turns out more dietetic, like boiled or stewed dishes.


Ingredients:

  • 600-700 g of meat (pork pitted with fat);
  • 5-6 medium potatoes;
  • 1.5 teaspoons of salt;
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper;
  • 10-15 pieces of peppercorns;
  • 1-2 bay leaves;
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic.

Instruction:


The meat, as in the recipe of boiled pork, rinse, slightly dry and stuffed with spices.




Peel the potatoes, wash them and cut them into halves, and then thin slices.


We put the meat on a sheet of foil for baking, and pour the potatoes around.


Tightly wrap meat with potatoes in foil. If one sheet is not enough, put the second under it at a right angle to the first strip of foil.

How to cook:

1. Pork ribs should be washed.

9. Put the meat on the potatoes.

Recipe for baked pork foil in portioned knots

So, for that recipe you will need as many pieces of meat as you need to get portions in the end. I took 4 pieces of veal. but pork will also be delicious.

You also need potatoes (one knot in each knot), tomatoes (two pieces), onions (one head), one egg, a little cheese.


The ingredients for the marinade are written below.

For my meat, I decided to make a mustard-mayonnaise marinade. I liked the taste of mustard with meat when cooking ribs in mustard sauce. therefore, here, too, I decided to use the same sauce, only added more mayonnaise.

So for the marinade I needed:

a tablespoon of mustard

two tablespoons of mayonnaise

three tablespoons of vegetable oil

hops-suneli, salt, pepper, garlic

I laid everything out on a plate and mixed it well.

I coated the meat with marinade and left it, the longer the better, I left it for an hour and a half to pickle.

I left part of the marinade, so I pickled onion rings in it.

Then, when the meat was cooked, she took a piece of foil, poured a little vegetable oil, laid the potatoes in the center. chopped plastic, salt.

On top are a few peppers of onions.

Set the oven to warm up 180-200 degrees  Celsius. At the same time, wrap the edges of the foil inward, tightly sealing the meat with potatoes inside.


Place the meat and potatoes wrapped in foil in a preheated oven. Bake everything you need for 1.5-2 hours, depending on the oven. For fidelity, later 60 minutes  carefully open the foil and see if the meat is baked, or the potatoes become loose. If not, wrap everything back in foil and continue to bake.


When the meat and potatoes are properly baked, remove them from the oven, open the foil and serve immediately.
When baking in a foil, a crispy crust, do not expect, if you still want to get one, then a few minutes before the end of cooking, you will need to open the foil from above and put a baking sheet with meat and potatoes in the upper half of the oven. It’s better to use the mode if possible. "grill"while increasing the temperature.

  6. Put a piece of pork on the potatoes. Close the foil tightly on all sides. The remaining servings are prepared in the same way. We send to the oven preheated to 200 degrees for 35-40 minutes.


  7. After the specified time has elapsed, open the foil and leave it in the oven for another 5-10 minutes. During this time, the meat should be covered with a golden crust.
