Ingredients:

  • corn flour - 1 cup;

  • water - ½ cup;
  • salt - ½ teaspoon;

Cooking

  1. Mix two grades of flour with salt.
  2. Pour warm water with oil, knead the dough, leave for 30 minutes.
  3. Portions of the dough are rolled between two layers of film.

Wheat tortilla


Do-it-yourself Mexican tortilla can only be made with wheat flour. This recipe uses butter, which creates the effect of sandy texture products. However, if desired, it can be replaced with vegetable - the result will be different, but no less worthy and tasty.

Ingredients:

  • wheat flour - 2 cups;
  • salt - ½ teaspoon;
  • water - 200 ml;
  • oil - 50 g.

Cooking

  1. Grind flour with salt and butter until crumbs.
  2. Pour warm water and knead a soft dough.
  3. After half an hour, the lump is divided into parts, each is rolled thinly, placing portions between two film cuts.
  4. Brown the product in a dry pan.

  • ham or meat - 250 g;

  • cream cheese or sauce - 150 g;
  • greens - 1 bunch;
  • lettuce - to taste.

Cooking

Step 1: Prepare the ingredients.

Grate the cheese on a medium grater or cut into very thin slices.
Rinse the tomato, cut out the seal, and then cut the vegetable into thin circles.

Take out the hot cake (do not turn off the oven yet) and sprinkle it with about half of the whole grated cheese.


Lay thin slices of tomato with the next layer, evenly distributing them throughout the tortilla. Salt and pepper to taste.


Then it remains to fill everything on top with the remaining cheese and part of the chopped basil.


Put the pizza in the oven on 7 minutes. During this time, the tomatoes will slightly dry, and all the cheese will melt. The main thing is to ensure that the edges of the pita bread that are not covered with the filling do not burn, perhaps even need to get the pizza out of the oven earlier.


Mix the remaining garlic in oil with balsamic vinegar and pour the prepared Margherita pizza with this sauce, then sprinkle it with the remaining basil and serve.
