Vegetables are an essential part of a child's diet. Nutritionists believe that children from one to four years old need to consume up to 350 g of vegetables per day - raw or thermally processed.

Vegetables can be added to salads, boiled, baked or stewed. And if the baby is hungry, and the main meal is still far away, then it is better to offer him a slice of cucumber or a carrot than a sweet cookie. After all, vegetables are healthy and at the same time low in calories, so they do not interrupt the appetite for a long time.

With a little imagination, any mother will be able to cook many original, mouth-watering and healthy vegetable dishes. And they are good not only for their taste. Vegetable dishes can be intricately arranged before serving. For example, due to the fact that among the usual fruits you will find almost all the colors of the rainbow! This quality is especially good to use when preparing dishes for children who are naughty while eating.

Try to keep the crumbs' vegetable menu bright and tasty! Moreover, it is important to do this in the spring, during the period of vitamin deficiency and a lack of other nutrients.

Vegetable dishes: green vitamins

Pediatricians recommend starting complementary foods with green vegetables - zucchini or broccoli. But don't let these vegetables associate you only with the first mashed potatoes for crumbs! They can be used to prepare a delicious meal for the whole family. Zucchini contains calcium, magnesium, iron and potassium, pectins useful for metabolism.

In addition, broccoli contains vitamins A, C and B, as well as beta-carotene, which is important for the child's body.

These vegetables will make an excellent side dish for meat or fish dishes. Broccoli can be boiled, and zucchini can be baked in the oven or stewed with onions. From ready-made green vegetables, you can lay out a lawn on a plate, and from meat or fish - a stump.

Also, zucchini and broccoli will make a delicious and tender puree soup. And don't forget to sprinkle it with fine golden croutons.

Orange carrot dishes

Carrots have a whole range of vitamins (A, C, B, D, E), minerals and trace elements. Carrots contain a low amount of cellulose, so they are recommended for baby and diet food.

Carrots are delicious both raw and cooked. For a snack, offer the crumbs carrots, cut into strips. The circles are very in harmony with meatballs or steam cutlets. Or you can boil pieces of carrots and decorate any dish with them.

No soup is possible without carrots. If the baby treats the orange root crop well, cut it into cubes, but if the baby is picky, rub it on a grater.

Do not forget that carrot juice is considered one of the healthiest and most delicious. It can be served alone or mixed with other fruit juices. It is useful to add a little cream there.

Purple beetroot dishes

Beets are a valuable source of vitamins C, PP and B, as well as copper and phosphorus. It normalizes bowel function, which means it helps the baby get rid of constipation. Beets and other most common vegetables - potatoes, cabbage, carrots, onions, tomatoes - make delicious borscht.

Or make a delicious salad for your little one. To do this, grate boiled beets on a fine grater, add grated cheese, boiled quail egg. Season the salad with low-fat sour cream, garnish with a sprig of herbs and sprinkle with pine nuts. However, it is worth remembering: although beets are incredibly healthy, they contain rather coarse fiber, and their mineral composition greatly loads the kidneys of the child.

Onions are purple too! Moreover, it is sweeter and in small quantities is suitable for children's dishes.

Vegetable rainbow on a plate

Several colorful vegetables can be used in cooking. Bake them like ratatouille: layer slices of zucchini, tomato, bell peppers, carrots and onions in layers. If desired, between the layers of vegetables, you can put a layer of minced meat - chicken or meat.

The rice garnish will be tastier if you add finely chopped pieces of red, yellow, green bell peppers, previously sautéed in olive oil, to it. The garnish will turn out to be bright, appetizing and unusual!

You can "tint" any usual dish with bright vegetables. For example, add a little greens chopped in a blender to the curd, lightly salt - and you get a green curd mass. Only now it is better not to eat it with a spoon, but to spread it on a piece of bread.

In general, show your imagination, create every day. And not only cook, but also eat delicious and healthy vegetables and fruits with pleasure. After all, a child learns everything by observing his parents. And if you yourself love vegetables, then your child will gobble them up on both cheeks.

Note to mom

Vegetables are low in calories and do not need to be dosed strictly. The restriction is imposed only on potatoes, which, although rich in amino acids, proteins, potassium and phosphorus, contain a lot of starch.

Vegetables should be in a child's diet every day. But what if he goes on strike and stubbornly rejects these products? We offer to prepare vegetable dishes for children, which will not refuse even the biggest fussy.

Golden zucchini

Zucchini is one of the most popular vegetables, especially in baby food. It is convenient to make mashed potatoes and soups from it. However, sometimes you can cook something more interesting, such as a casserole. We grate 2 zucchini and squeeze out the liquid. Mix them with grated carrots, 3 eggs and 150 g sour cream. We gradually introduce 7-8 tbsp. l. flour, stirring the base with a whisk. You can lightly beat it with a mixer - this will make the casserole more fluffy. Pour the dough into a greased mold and place in an oven preheated to 200 ° C for 45-50 minutes. This children's zucchini dish can be given to babies from 2 years old. For older children, you can add grated cheese to the dough.

Cabbage instead of meat

White cabbage is also worthy of a place in the children's diet. And so that the kids make friends with her faster, make vegetable cutlets. Scald 500 g of cabbage leaves with boiling water and pass through a meat grinder. Put the cabbage mince in a pan with 10 g butter and 3 tbsp. l. milk. We pour out 3 tbsp. l. semolina and simmer the mixture for 10 minutes. When the semolina swells, remove the pan from the heat. Combine the cabbage base with 1 egg and 2 tbsp. l. flour, beat into a homogeneous mass and form cutlets. Dip each in flour and bake for 20 minutes at 180 ° C. With sour cream, this baby will disappear twice as fast.

Vitamin pizza

Oftentimes, baby cauliflower dishes are not very popular with babies. But not vegetable pizza. Grind 400 g of raw cabbage in a blender and put it in the oven at 180 ° C for 5 minutes. Then we cool it down, drive in 1 egg, 2 tbsp. l. olive oil, 100 g grated cheese and a pinch of salt. From the resulting dough, roll out 2-3 cakes 5-7 mm thick and bake in the oven for 20 minutes at a temperature of 180 ° C. Lightly coat them with tomato paste and lay out any vegetables and fillings that your children like best. Put the pizzas in the oven again for 5-7 minutes. Children love pizza, and this variation will certainly intrigue them.

Variegated pudding

Broccoli Vegetable Pudding is another curious cabbage variation. We disassemble 100 g of cabbage into inflorescences. Rub the same amount of carrots and potatoes. Dice 1 yellow bell pepper, 150 g ham. Pour 30 g of oatmeal with boiling water for 15 minutes. Combine them with broccoli, chopped vegetables and ham and add a little salt. Grease the baking dish with oil, sprinkle with ground breadcrumbs and lay out the vegetable base. First, bake the pudding in the oven for 20 minutes at 180 ° C. Then fill it with a mixture of 50 ml of milk, chicken eggs and 1 tsp. vegetable oil and put in the oven again for 10 minutes. By the way, cabbage pudding can be put in a lunchbox for children when sent to school.

Surprise potatoes

Many baby potato dishes are for kids. So that they do not become boring, sometimes you can surprise them with something unusual. For example, a potato roll. Boil 400 g of peeled potatoes and 2 hard-boiled eggs. Fry the chopped onion until transparent. Puree the potatoes with a blender, add 2 tsp. butter and a pinch of salt. We make the filling from the eggs: finely chop and mix with bright vegetables, such as red peppers, green onions, cabbage, also finely chopped. We spread the mashed potatoes on baking paper in a layer 4-5 mm thick, tamp the egg-onion filling on top and roll up the roll. Transfer it to a greased baking sheet, sprinkle with breadcrumbs and put in the oven at 180 ° C for 30 minutes. This dish will be appreciated even by the most discerning little gourmets.

Sunny soup

When you want to diversify the child's menu, remember about children's dishes from. Delicate pumpkin cream soup is exactly what the body needs in autumn. Cut into cubes 250 g of pumpkin pulp and 100 g of carrots. Pour vegetables into boiling water and cook for 20-25 minutes, until they soften. Cool them and beat with a blender until smooth. You can add 2-3 chopped sprigs of dill or parsley here. Pour 125 ml of warmed milk into the vegetable mixture and simmer for 5 minutes. If the consistency seems too thick, add a little vegetable broth. Such a bright soup with a seductive aroma will surely appeal to children.

Tricky cupcake

Not all children love, which cannot be said about cupcakes. So why not combine them into a single whole? Beat 2 eggs with ½ cup sugar until smooth. Alternately add 100 g of softened butter, 2 grated carrots, 1 glass of flour, 1 tsp. baking powder and knead the dough. If your kids don't mind raisins, you can add them as well. Grease the muffins with butter and fill ¾ with dough. We bake the muffins at 200 ° C for 30 minutes. For a crispy crust, you can lightly sprinkle the tops with sugar. The kid will never guess what the cupcakes are made of, and will eat them with pleasure.

We hope that little gourmets will like these nurseries and add to your collection of selected recipes. Bon appetit and good health to your kids!

The path of growing up is a rather thorny one. For a child, the first school of life is his family, which is the whole world. In the family, the child learns to love, endure, rejoice, sympathize and many other important feelings. In the conditions of a family, an emotional and moral experience inherent only in it develops: beliefs and ideals, assessments and value orientations, attitudes towards people around them and activities. The priority in raising a child belongs to the family (M.I. Rosenova, 2011, 2015).

Get cluttered

Much has been written about how important it is to be able to let go, to complete the old-obsolete. Otherwise, they say, the new will not come (the place is occupied), and there will be no energy. Why do we nod, reading such motivating articles for cleaning, but still everything remains in place? We find thousands of reasons to postpone the deferred for release. Or do not start parsing rubble and storerooms at all. And we are accustomed to scolding ourselves: "I have been completely overwhelmed, we need to pull ourselves together."
To be able to easily and confidently throw away unnecessary things becomes an obligatory program of a “good housewife”. And often - a source of yet another neurosis for those who for some reason cannot do this. After all, the less we do "right" - and the better we can hear ourselves, the happier we live. And this is all the more correct for us. So, let's figure it out, is it really necessary for you to declutter yourself.

The art of communicating with parents

Parents often love to teach their children, even when they are old enough. They interfere in their personal life, advise, condemn ... It comes to the point that children do not want to see their parents, because they are tired of their moralizing.

What to do?

Acceptance of disadvantages. Children must understand that parents cannot be re-educated, they will not change, no matter how much you want it. When you accept their shortcomings, it will be easier for you to communicate with them. You just stop waiting for a different attitude than before.

How to prevent cheating

When people start a family, no one, with rare exceptions, even thinks about starting a relationship on the side. And yet, according to statistics, families most often break up precisely because of betrayal. About half of men and women cheat on their partners in a legal relationship. In a word, the number of faithful and unfaithful people is distributed 50 to 50.

Before talking about how to protect a marriage from cheating, it is important to understand

The older our baby becomes, the more products we can safely introduce into his diet, but there are still a number of restrictions. A children's menu from 1 year old should be varied, healthy and tasty, but he is far from an adult, since the baby's body has not yet matured. From this article, we will learn how to choose the right diet for children from 1.5 years old, so that they eat with benefit and with pleasure.

What should be on the plate of a little fidget after a year? Let's take a look at the most important nutritional principles for children of this age.

Nutrition principles

4 meals a day

A child of this age should eat 4 times a day - this will allow him to form correct eating habits and adhere to the daily routine.

In breakfast, the baby should receive 25% of the total daily ration, at lunchtime - 35%, at dinner - 25%, and at afternoon tea - 15%. This distribution will teach him to continue to eat properly.

Food structure

Now, when the child has much more teeth, it is not necessary to wipe or grind food in a blender, it will be enough to knead it with a fork or rub it on a coarse grater.

Soft foods such as bananas, berries, soft bread can be given whole by cutting into wedges.

Meat can now be offered not only in the form of mashed potatoes or soufflés, but cutlets, meatballs and meatballs.

Heat treatment

Fried foods are still unacceptable in the diet. It doesn't matter what we are talking about, meat, cereals or vegetables, we steam them.

So, let's look at specific examples of how breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner should look like for children at the age of 1.5 years.

Breakfast

As we remember, it should be high in calories, protein and carbohydrate. Cooking porridge with milk or water will be optimal.

The children's menu from 1.5 years old can contain oatmeal, wheat porridge, buckwheat and millet. They are the ones that are most useful. As for rice, it is better to cook it less often, since unpolished, that is, brown for the baby's digestive tract is still rough, and white is less useful.

Here are some sample breakfast options.

Option I - porridge

Millet

Let's prepare millet millet porridge. The serving should be approximately 150 - 170 ml.

To cook the most useful porridge, you need to cook it as little as possible, and for this you just need to soak the cereal for several hours or overnight. Millet is the most dense and difficult to boil, so it makes sense to soak it in the evening.

  • Fill with 2 tablespoons. cereals and leave overnight.
  • In the morning we rinse the cereal, fill it with clean water so that it covers the millet less than half a finger, salt and set it on the fire.
  • As soon as the porridge boils, add 2 tbsp. milk, add 1 tsp. sugar and cook for another 5-7 minutes.
  • Turn off the prepared porridge, let stand under the lid for 5 - 10 minutes and serve. You can add 1 tsp to a serving. butter.

Instead of sugar, you can use jam or preserves as a sweetener, but it is better to avoid honey for now - this is too allergenic a product.

Oatmeal

We cook her children from 1.5 years old only from ordinary Hercules flakes. No instant cereals, since there is no longer any benefit in them, only excess sugars and preservatives. But if you want to cook it as quickly as possible, we also soak 2 tablespoons. flakes.

Pour boiling water over them in a ladle so that the water is level with the cereals, add some salt and cover. We hold for about half an hour, pour in 3-4 tbsp. milk and put on fire. Bring it to a boil, that's it, you can turn off the porridge, it's ready!

We also fill it with oil and either add 1 tsp. sugar or jam.

In addition, fruit is good for oatmeal. It is better to do this 5 minutes before the end of cooking, and if the cereal has been soaked, then immediately after the porridge boils.

Baby curd

We choose a product with medium fat content, 9 or 15%. Rustic cottage cheese is categorically not recommended by nutritionists for children 1.5 years old because of the too high fat content in it.

The portion should be about 100 - 150 g. You can use purchased baby curd. If desired, add fresh fruit to it: cut an apple, pear or banana into slices and mix.

If the child eats cottage cheese well, but avoids porridge, or vice versa, we will prepare an original breakfast by combining both ingredients.

Curd with oatmeal

First, grind 3-4 tablespoons in a blender or coffee grinder. oatmeal. This amount is enough for several servings.

Take 100 g of cottage cheese, add 1 tbsp to it. the resulting oat flour, sweeten at your discretion with sugar or jam, mix and serve! From such a curd mass, you can form a hedgehog or any other figurine familiar to the baby.

It is also good to add ¼ banana to the curd - you can simply cut it or other seasonal fruits. Remember that for children from 1.5 years old, apples and pears need to be grated.

Option III - omelet

Since we do not offer fried food for babies of this age yet, we will prepare the same omelet as for adults, but in a different way.

  1. Mix 1 egg with 3 tbsp in a plate. milk, salt.
  2. Then we take a small jar with a lid, grease the walls with vegetable oil, pour the egg mixture into it and put it in a saucepan with cold water. The level should match the height of the omelet.
  3. We put on fire and close the pan with a lid. Cook the omelet after boiling for 20 minutes, turn it off, let it cool without opening and take it out. To do this, shake the jar, then the omelet will slide out by itself.

If the kid falls in love with this dish, you can begin to diversify its taste by adding grated vegetables: zucchini - literally 1 tbsp for this volume, broccoli or cauliflower.

In addition to this breakfast, you can offer a slice of bread and butter. From 1.5 years old, a child can already receive up to 15 - 20 g of this product per day. A white bread or loaf sandwich is the best option, as rye varieties are much more difficult to digest and can cause bloating.

Dinner

Lunch should have the largest amount of food, as we remember, so for a start, you can offer your child a salad. The portion should be purely symbolic, so as not to kill the appetite before the main course, but fresh vegetables improve peristalsis and have a positive effect on the body as a whole, so you should not neglect the salad either.

Well, if the child is not a hunter of first courses, he will all the more become a worthy alternative to soup.

Salad

In summer we cook from seasonal vegetables - tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers. We cut everything finely or three on a grater. A serving should be about 1.5 tablespoons, fill it with ½ tsp. vegetable oil or low-fat sour cream.

In winter and autumn, we make salads from boiled beets, Chinese cabbage (very finely chopped) and carrots. It is better to leave the white-headed one for up to 2 years - its fibers are too coarse.

First course

The children's menu from 1 year old involves the preparation of soups, both with vegetable and meat broths, so we can safely choose what the child likes. The main condition is that if the first is vegetable, the second must necessarily contain animal protein.

Option 1 - beetroot with rice

Thanks to the vegetables it contains, it also combines the qualities of a salad.

  • To prepare 2 servings, take a piece of chicken fillet 60 - 70 g. Fill it with 2 glasses of filtered water and put on fire.
  • In the meantime, grate three 30 g of raw beets (3 by 2 cm block), peel ½ a medium tomato and finely chop together with ¼ bell pepper.
  • As soon as the chicken boils, salt it to taste and, after waiting 10 minutes, send vegetables to the broth. Put ½ tablespoon of white rice there. Cook until the cereals are ready.
  • Cut the meat into small pieces and serve, seasoning with 1 tsp of low-fat sour cream or the same amount of olive oil.

Option 2 - fish soup with cauliflower

We choose a fillet at our discretion: pangasius, tilapia or sole. We need 60 - 70 g. Pour 2 glasses of water and put on fire.

1 large cauliflower inflorescence (50 g) is well washed and finely chopped. Also chop ¼ a small onion and the same amount of bell pepper.

As soon as the fish boils, we send vegetables to it and add some salt. Cook until the cauliflower is ready.

If desired, you can add ½ tablespoon to this soup. vermicelli "Web", so it will become more satisfying, but remember that more often 2-3 times a week, a child of 1.5 years old should not be given pasta.

Second course

You should not often choose potatoes - there is too much starch in it, it is better to teach your baby to stew from other vegetables. At this age, he can already eat zucchini, broccoli, carrots, onions, Brussels sprouts, tomatoes and bell peppers - there will be plenty to choose from!

We also prepare cereal side dishes.

Option 1 - vegetable stew with rice and egg

For 2 servings we need: 100 g of courgette, 30 g of carrots, 20 g of onion, 30 g of bell pepper and 60-70 g of broccoli. Chop everything finely and put in a small saucepan. Add ½ tbsp there. rice, salt and pour 1/3 cup milk.

Simmer the cereals until cooked and at the end of cooking pour in the raw chicken egg, beaten separately. Stir the stew several times to cook the egg faster, turn it off and serve.

This dish, as you can see, combines both vegetable and protein components.

Option 2 - liver soufflé with vegetables

To make soufflé, we need turkey or chicken liver - they are softer and softer in taste than beef.

We send 200 g of liver, crumb from one slice of white bread, 50 ml of milk and 1 egg to a blender. Beat everything well until smooth. Add some salt, mix again and lay out on silicone molds, filling them 2/3.

We bake the soufflé or in a cartoon cooker on the "steam cooking" mode, in the microwave (2-3 minutes) or in the oven. To do this, put the molds in a baking sheet, half filled with water and cook at 180 ° C for 20 minutes.

Serve with the vegetable stew from the previous recipe, but without rice and eggs.

Compote

Children in a year and a half are very fond of dried fruit compote. We make it almost unsweetened, since the taste will already be very rich.

  • For a liter of drink, we need 50 g of dried apricots, prunes and raisins.
  • We thoroughly rinse everything in a colander, pour 1 liter of filtered water and put on fire.
  • Cook for half an hour after boiling, add a couple of teaspoons of sugar and cook for another 10 minutes, try for sugar, if not enough, add a little more and turn it off.

Serve cooled.

Afternoon snack

In an intermediate meal, we offer the baby something light, like fruit - 1-2 apple slices, dried or unsweetened cookies.

It is better to refrain from confectionery products such as cakes and chocolate cookies, as they can cause allergies at the age of 1.5.

Or you can make a wonderful carrot casserole, older children will also appreciate it, so we do more.

  1. 200 g of three carrots on a fine or coarse grater and simmer with the addition of 2 tsp. butter over low heat along with 20 g of semolina, making sure that they are not browned, but simply cooked.
  2. Add water if necessary.
  3. Let it cool and beat in 1 egg.
  4. Mix, spread 80 - 100 g of cottage cheese.
  5. Sugar to taste, stir again.
  6. We spread the mixture on a greased frying pan, baking sheet, or fill silicone molds with it and send it to bake for 25 - 30 minutes at 180 ° C.

Serve the prepared casserole with sour cream and jam.

Dinner

For dinner, a portion in the children's menu at 1.5 years old should be small, but high in calories.

Option 1 - fish pilaf

We choose fish fillets based on the tastes of the child, remembering that it should not be greasy and bony.

  • ½ medium carrots on a grater, ½ onion finely chop.
  • Heat 2 tsp in a small deep frying pan or saucepan. olive oil and put vegetables to it, salt.
  • We keep them, stir for 5 - 7 minutes.

While they are cooking, cut 100 g of fish fillets into pieces. We send to vegetables, mix. Rinse 50 g of round rice well and put it in the pan as well. Fill your finger with water and close.

Cook over low heat until rice is fully cooked. Add water if necessary.

Serve sprinkled with herbs.

Option 2 - turkey cutlets with buckwheat

  • Cut 200 g fillet into cubes and put in a blender bowl along with 2 quail eggs (or ½ chicken), 1 tbsp. bread crumbs and 1/3 chopped onion.
  • Grind everything, add a little milk if necessary, salt.
  • Let the minced meat brew for 15 - 20 minutes and form the cutlets.

You can cook them in a double boiler, multicooker ("steamed" mode) or in the oven - a children's menu from 1.5 years old does not prohibit this. Serve with buckwheat.

You see how delicious and interesting food for your baby can be! Children's menu from 1 year old is very varied. Cook and delight the little one with new tastes!
