The turn came to continue acquaintance with the mysterious cuisine of the East and learn how to cook hot rolls. After all, this hearty dish is gaining more and more popularity among sushi lovers today.

Classic recipe

It will not be difficult to prepare hot rolls at home - they practically do not differ from the already familiar “cold” rolls. So, you will need:
● 200 g of slightly salted fish;
● 1 tbsp. rice;
● 1 tbsp. water;
● 150 g soft cheese;
● nori sheets;
● pod of sweet pepper;
● 1 tsp. Sahara;
● ½ tsp. salt;
● 1 tbsp. l. vinegar (rice);
● an egg;
● a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil;
● 100 g breading.

Hot rolls are prepared in this way:

1. Rinse the rice several times under running water, for example, in a sieve. The water should eventually drain clear.
2. Put the cereal to boil, and when it boils, set it for 5 minutes, stir, add sugar, salt and vinegar and turn off the heat. Stir everything well and leave the rice to steam under the lid. It is recommended to cover the pan with towels for the best effect.
3. Fillets and washed peppers should be cut into thin strips, about 5 mm thick. If there are bones in the fillet, remove them.
4. Take the roll mat and place the nori sheet on it, shiny side down.
5. By this time, while all the ingredients were cooking, the rice should be steamed well. Stir it with a wooden spoon or spatula very carefully, then spread it in an even layer on the nori, leaving 2 cm uncovered on one side. We use water or vinegar to wet this edge.
6. Put fish and vegetable pieces along the rice and fold the nori tightly so that the moistened edge "seals" the roll.
7. Dip the entire workpiece in a beaten egg, and then roll in breadcrumbs.
8. Fry the roll in oil until crisp on all sides. Cut into pieces and put them on a dish.

On a note. Rice vinegar may not always be on hand. It may well be replaced by an apple one.

Cooking with salmon

Prepare in advance:

● 1 tbsp. rice;
● 1 tbsp. water;
● 200 g of salmon;
● nori;
● sugar and salt to taste;
● 1 tbsp. l. rice vinegar;
● 150 g breading;
● 1 egg;
● 50 ml of oil;
● 50 g of capelin roe (or other fish).

Cooking rolls is as follows:

1. Prepare the rice and put it to a boil.
2. In the meantime, prepare a dressing of vinegar, sugar and salt. Season the undercooked rice with marinade, mix well and leave to steam for up to half an hour. Stir again before use.
3. Remove the skin from the piece of fish and take out the bones, if present. Cut the fillets into thin rectangular strips.
4. Lay out the nori on the mat and carry out the classical preparation of the roll - distribute the rice layer, spread the fish strips in the center, roll up the roll and seal it with the moistened free edge of the nori.
5. Beat the egg into a homogeneous light mass and dip the roll in it. Then we bread it and fry it in oil until crispy.
6. Cut the finished roll into pieces, put it on a dish, and put a coffee spoon of caviar on top.

On a note. Hot rolls are served in the same way as the classic ones - with pickled ginger, wasabi and soy sauce.

2. Then collect the rolls by wrapping the freshly prepared food and soft cheese in nori and rice.
3. The process of completing the cooking is similar to the previous recipes - the rolls are dipped in a beaten egg, rolled in breadcrumbs and then fried.
4. At the end of all the manipulations, cut the rolls prepared at home into small pieces and put them like hemp on a baking sheet covered with paper.

Caesar Hot Roll Recipe

● 2 tsp. capelin roe;
● 60 g smoked chicken breast;
● 1 leaf of iceberg lettuce;
● 20 g of tomatoes;
● 1 sheet of nori;
● 130 g of boiled rice;
● 20 g of tender cream cheese;
● 20 g of crackers.

Cooking hot rolls:

1. For baking, you need to prepare a sauce of mayonnaise and caviar - make it right away and leave it aside.
2. Finely chop the chicken and lettuce. We use only pulp from tomato, without seeds and juice. We cut it into pieces.
3. Assemble the rolls: put rice on the nori and leave a free edge. This recipe involves wrapping the filling directly in nori, so we turn the blank with the rice side on the mat, and put a strip of soft cheese, chicken, lettuce and tomatoes on top of the seaweed.
4. Roll up the rolls tightly, roll them in breadcrumbs and then cut them.
5. With the cut down, place the slices on a baking sheet with baking paper and spread a little sauce on each. We bake at 200 degrees for 5 - 7 minutes. That's the whole "science" of making hot rolls.
