We cook delicious French bread at home in a bread maker. How to make French bread in a bread maker

31.07.2019 Grill menu

Yesterday I shared with you my joy - the first bread from a bread machine. In the evening, I continued to experiment with my new kitchen helper to make fresh hot bread for breakfast.

You can do this only with a bread maker, without forcing yourself to wake up at half past three in the morning to treat your family with sandwiches with fresh French bread by seven.

To accomplish this task, the bread maker has a timer. In mine, you can delay the baking time up to 13 hours. I put the groceries in the apparatus at half past nine in the evening, and I needed ready-made bread at half past six in the morning. On the timer, I had to set 10 hours.

I forgot to tell you about one more moment! After baking, the bread maker in offline mode keeps the product hot for another 1 hour, after which it begins to cool down. This fact can be taken into account when using the timer and the delay in baking bread.

You also need to take into account that you cannot use fresh milk to bake French bread with a delay of several hours - it will turn sour. Therefore, the recipe provides for the use of milk powder.

To make French bread in a 750 g bread maker, you need the following products:

  • 1 tbsp Sahara

    1.5 tsp salt

    2 tsp dry soluble yeast

French bread differs from regular white bread in that it has a longer raising time, which increases the size of the air pockets in the bread and makes the bread texture very light.

Advice. I do not recommend using the amount of dough for baking a large loaf of bread for the first time (or baking in timer mode) - it simply may not fit into the bucket and the dough will spontaneously flow out onto the heating parts of the machine.

For my model of bread maker, I need to start with liquid foods.

Pour water into a bucket-shape.

Add powdered milk

butter,

sugar and salt.

Gently fill in the flour and add dry yeast to the holes that we make in the flour.

We send the bucket to the bread maker.

We select the "French bread" program with a weight of 750 g and a medium crust color.

We set the timer with a baking delay of 10 hours and turn on the bread maker.

I woke up this morning to the smell of freshly baked bread. I remembered a joke: “I woke up, stretched and decided to wait for my mother to cook breakfast. I remembered that I am my mother! "

This morning was like this joke - it seemed to me that it was my mother who made bread while I slept sweetly. But in fact, it was my assistant who tried to do it, with whom I fall more and more in love every day.

Husband and son were very happy with sandwiches with fresh bread and feta cheese for breakfast. And I'm not even tired and ready to take on more difficult work.

Very tasty and airy French bread is obtained in a bread maker, in this recipe Svetlana Burova uses an LG bread machine for baking and offers a recipe for making the same bread in the oven.

French bread in a bread maker

For a French bread recipe you will need:

  • Water (warm) - 1 cup and 2 tablespoons
  • Wheat baking flour - 3 cups.
  • Salt - 1.5 tsp
  • Sugar - 3 tablespoons
  • Yeast (fast Saf-moment) - 2 tsp.

I bake French bread in the LG HB - 1001 CJ bread maker, the volume of its measuring cup (the cup that comes with the kit) is 230 ml (the very last mark) / 240 ml if you drink it (under the knife). Which corresponds to the weight of the flour:

The indicated amount of ingredients in the recipe is for a 700 g loaf of French bread.

This bread recipe is perfect for bread maker LG 2051, as well as for any other bread makers.

It is very easy to bake French bread in a bread maker, the main thing is to have the right recipe.

Sift the flour before loading the ingredients. We put all the ingredients in the indicated sequence in the form of the bread maker, if your instructions also include liquid products from the bottom (if otherwise, we change the sequence).

We put the form (bucket) in the bread maker, set the mode "French bread", I chose the color of the crust MEDIUM and press START.

In this mode, the bread will be baked for 4 hours. At this time, we will do other household chores, and the oven will call you when the delicious bread is ready.

When the oven starts to publish BIPBs, you need to remove the bread from the mold, the spatula - the kneader should remain in the mold. If you still have it in your bread, do not forget to remove it.

I put the hot French bread on the prepared towels, cover it and let it cool well.

This recipe makes French bread very crispy, airy and delicious.

Enjoy your meal.

French bread in the oven

If you decide to bake French bread using the oven, for the recipe you need:

  • Water - 300 ml.
  • Sunflower oil - 25 gr.
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Sugar - 4 tsp
  • Flour - 500 gr.
  • Yeast (fast Saf-moment) - 7 gr.

How to make French bread in the oven

Sift flour, mix with fast-acting yeast (in a separate bowl).

In another bowl (you can immediately use the container in which you will bake your bread) mix warm water with butter, salt and sugar. Knead the French bread dough well. Little by little we add flour, stirring with a wooden spatula, and then our dough with our hands.

When the dough is kneaded, let it rise for about 2 hours in a warm place (sometimes I put it next to the battery). When the dough has risen about 2 times, immediately put (carefully) in a preheated oven to 200 degrees for 35-40 minutes. In the photo, French bread with sesame seeds, baked in the oven:

When the French bread is ready, we take it out of the mold (so that our bread does not get damp), cover it with towels, let it cool.

Svetlana Burova wishes you pleasant appetite.

How the Kenwood BM 250 bread maker bakes homemade French bread

Ingredients:

Cooking process:

In my new Panasonic bread maker, French bread turns out to be completely different in structure, I will definitely report back soon.

come on, Anechka - we are waiting for your report.

Made according to Svetlana's recipe. The recipe is simple, but the bread turned out to be very tasty, it went well.

My recipe was already waiting for its release. 🙂

Yes, Sergei, in the French mode the bread is baked for a long time, but it turns out very tasty!

Today I baked it from a ready-made mixture from Pudov. It turned out great too.

On all mixtures from Pudov it is written - according to the instructions for the bread maker or BASIC. I have a French mode, baking on it.

Or you can bake bread according to this recipe but in the LG HB 206CE bread maker

Ale, of course you can! Choose a mode close to 4 hours in duration.

Excellent bread! Delicate and airy!

I baked bread today. French bread function. 4 hours. It turned out to be airy and gentle.

And in what bread maker did you bake it?

3 days ago we bought a Lji 206 bakery baked white and French, it rises high as soon as the baking is turned on 50 minutes before the end, the top falls through, remains white, the bread is heavy, help, what to do?

Elena, if there is still a guarantee - immediately exchange it.

Was the flour sifted before baking?

my sister has such HP, I also have 1001 LG, I read that if the top of the bread settles at the beginning of baking, then there is a lot of yeast in the dough.

I began to put 1.5 tsp at once. if 2 tsp is indicated.

after that, the bread is always tall and with a beautiful high crust.

good luck to you Elena.

look at the booklet for HP - on the last pages there are just descriptions, if something is wrong.

Excellent bread, homemade and warm, and also with butter and milk, mm, just a song)))

the easiest bread to prepare, but the most delicious.

tell me, how is the water poured into the washing machine, have you looked?

Anyut - what is this?

I think you or you and I have a question 🙂

Or a man from a big hangover or a philosopher from Kukuev 🙂

And I baked oat bread today. It turned out very pretty, now it is standing, cooling down.

Almost everything is correct, but. Do not rush to take the bread out of the bakery after the beep "done". The machine heats the tens for another two hours and the bread is always hot at this time.

"And the taste of a French roll." We often find such an expression in poetry and literary works. So, in fact, this bread is special, since there is so much talk about it. Although baked according to the same recipe as ours.

Really appreciate you sharing this post. Thanks Again. Really Great. egcegeabcfaggddd

Here's a classic, simple recipe that's perfect for your daily baked goods. The main advantage of this option is a small set of necessary ingredients, as well as the fact that it is suitable for any family member and for any occasion!

French bread in the Moulinex bread maker is the recipe of the day.

Ingredients (calculated for a 500 g loaf):
- still drinking water, 200 ml
- table salt, 1 tsp.
- wheat flour, 350 gr
- dry fast-acting yeast, 1 tsp.

Recipe with photo step by step:

1. For the preparation of classic French bread, you will need regular drinking non-carbonated water, it is best to have it filtered.
In order for the dough to rise well and be sufficiently airy, it is necessary to use water with a temperature as close as possible to 35 degrees, since at lower temperatures dry yeast is less active, and in the case of using a liquid with a high temperature, it may stop acting altogether.

2. Remove the bowl from the tank of the bread maker so that the ingredients are not inside the device when loading, pour prepared water on the bottom.
Always follow the order in which you add food to the bowl to achieve the desired result.

3. Measure out exactly 1 tsp. table salt, it is very convenient to do this using a special measuring spoon that comes with the bread maker.
Add salt to the already poured water, do not stir.

4. Sift 350 grams of wheat flour into a deep bowl; a kitchen scale or a large measuring glass will help you measure the exact amount.
The better the flour is sifted, the more the dough will rise, which means that the bread will turn out to be more airy, in addition, I recommend using only premium flour for making French bread.

5. Pour flour gradually into the middle of the bowl with a small slide. Use your finger or a spoon to prepare a small depression at the very top of the flour slide, add 1 tsp there. dry fast-acting yeast.

6. Without stirring the ingredients, place the bowl in the oven reservoir, close the lid and set the desired program - for the Moulinex OW 3101Uno bread machine this is program number 3, in other ovens you can use the basic mode for baking white bread.

7. After the program has expired, carefully open the lid, use a potholder to remove the bowl of bread and place it on a towel or stand, leave for 1-2 hours for the pastries to reach.

8. Remove the finished bread from the bowl and cut, the rest must be packed in a bag or plastic wrap to avoid airing and drying out.

French bread is ready!

In the summer we live in a dacha, and every day I bake French bread for breakfast in a bread maker. By the method of various experiments for a weekday, I settled on French bread. Why French bread? Because there is nothing superfluous in it, the bread has a calm neutral taste that does not get boring and it is very important that you can stop with it. I have one killer recipe for bread with herbs in milk. The bright, pronounced taste of bread with herbs does not give any way to limit yourself. Very tasty bread, but I try to bake it for guests and picnics. And French bread is not so high in calories, it is kneaded in water. In addition, French bread does not stale for a long time, and even dried bread remains tasty.

For a long time I could not find my recipe for French bread. I tried different options, then the bread turned out to be dense, then it crumbled when cutting, then I did not like the taste. Finally I found my recipe for French bread, which I now use. The bread is consistently obtained, has a light white structure, an optimal balance of salt and sugar, and is cut well. The reason is simple. I use a little less flour in the recipe than in my usual French bread recipes and add milk powder.

For breakfast, I used to fill up the container in the evening and set the bread maker on the timer, and in the morning we were waiting for fragrant hot bread, which woke us up with its aroma better than any alarm clock. It's great to wake up to the smell of fresh bread, I tell you. Appetite roams still in bed. As a result, it was possible not to notice how the loaves after breakfast were gone. To maintain the weight and health of my own and those of my loved ones, now I put on bread after dinner. At night it is baked, I wrap it in a towel and leave it until morning. In the morning, the steamed French bread tastes great and is well cut.

As part of the recipe, the products are indicated in the order of their filling in the bread maker.

Time: 10 minutes
Complexity: simple
Ingredients for: 1 loaf

  • Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp. spoon
  • Water - 280 ml
  • Salt - 1 tsp. Spoon
  • Granulated sugar - 1 tsp. Spoon
  • Flour - 400 grams
  • Powdered milk - 1.5 tbsp. spoons
  • Dry yeast - 1 tsp

How to Make French Bread:

  • Pour vegetable oil on the screw in the bucket of the bread machine. Then the finished bread can be easily removed from the screw and the screw remains clean.
  • Pour in 280 ml. water. If you are going to bake bread right away, use warm water (about 30 degrees). If the bread maker is on the timer and the bread does not bake immediately, then the water can be at room temperature.
  • Add salt and granulated sugar.
  • Sift flour and pour into a bread maker. Make a hole in the flour and put milk powder and yeast in it. This is important when using a timer. The yeast should not come into contact with liquid. Otherwise, an unplanned fermentation process will begin.
  • Insert the container into the bread maker and turn on the baking mode for French bread (every bread machine must have it), set the weight of the loaf, in our case it is 750 grams, and select the crust (I choose the middle one). Press start and you can go about your business. In my bread maker, it takes 3.5 hours to bake French bread.
  • At the end of baking, open the lid, letting the bread cool slightly. After 10-15 minutes, remove the bucket from the bread machine (if you leave the bread in the bucket, it will freeze). Shake out the bread on a towel. If it doesn't shake out, then just put the bucket of bread upside down, after a few minutes it will come out completely calmly. Do not knock on the form, you ruin it so.
  • Wrap the bread freed from the bucket in a clean linen towel and let cool. In a thick linen towel, the bread will remain fresh, crisp and not wet.

I have recipes for delicious bread for different occasions with milk or kefir and all sorts of additives. But French bread is dear to me for every day more than others, although I bake it every day.

How I Make French Bread. Details and with Photos:

  • I pour vegetable oil into a bucket on the screw. This way, the finished bread can be easily removed from the screw and the screw remains clean.
  • I pour out 280 ml of water. I take warm water (about 30 degrees).
  • I add salt and granulated sugar.
  • I sift the flour and pour it into the bread maker. I make a hole in the flour and send milk powder and yeast into it. This is important when using a timer. The yeast should not come into contact with liquid. Otherwise, an unplanned fermentation process will begin.
  • I insert the container into the bread maker, turn on the French bread mode, set the weight of the loaf, in our case it is 750 grams, and choose the medium crust. I press start and go about my business. In my bread maker, it takes 3.5 hours to bake French bread.

  • At the end of baking, I open the lid, letting the bread cool slightly. After 10-15 minutes I take out the bucket from the bread machine, if you forget the bread in the bucket, it will freeze. I shake the bread out on a towel. I wrap it up and let it cool. A thick linen towel will keep the bread fresh and crisp.

Bon Appetit! If you have any questions, ask, I will definitely help.

There is nothing better than the aroma of freshly baked bread in the house. It is impossible to resist - you just want to pinch off a piece and eat it just like that, without anything, as if in childhood. Unfortunately, you rarely find fresh bread in the store. Therefore, the natural decision was to purchase a bread machine. In it you can cook whatever your heart desires - from rye bread to chocolate pastries and Easter. Tried many recipes but settled on one that became our favorite. This is a delicate and airy French bread. Try it too, because it is very easy to prepare it.

Ingredients

  • Flour - 690 g
  • Sugar - 45 g
  • Water - 260 ml
  • Dry yeast - 10 g
  • Salt - 1.5 tsp (7.5 g)

Step by step cooking process at home

  1. Required ingredients.
  2. First, we take out the form from the bread maker. You need to install a spatula in it, which will interfere with our dough. Now we fill in water there. Important! It is imperative that the first ingredient is water, so that all the components are well mixed. Take the water temperature somewhere around 25-27 degrees - it is optimal for activating the yeast.
  3. We sift the flour and pour it into the mold - I use a special glass that came with the bread maker. It is important to carefully follow the technology - to collect flour without tamping and exactly to the brim, without top.
  4. Next, put sugar - no more than 45 grams, otherwise you risk spoiling the bread. It can get tough due to the loss of yeast strength and poor leavening.
  5. Add salt according to the instructions - without it, our baked goods will be rough and uneven.
  6. The last step is to add dry baking yeast - 2 teaspoons.
  7. When all the ingredients are poured into the mold, we move it into the device.
  8. We select the "French bread" program we need and set the degree of baking. It can be light or, conversely, with a dark crust. By default, French bread is assumed to be at a medium level - this is what we choose.
  9. We press "start". Product preparation time - 4 hours. It is worth noting that during baking, you cannot open the lid of the bread machine (no matter how interesting it is to you to see). You can put on the bread and go out quietly on business. Or set the timer at a time convenient for you - and hot bread will be ready for the table on time.
