Food is an integral part of our life, you cannot argue with this statement. There was a time when I didn’t know how to cook anything except boiled potatoes and pasta, and, believe me, at that time it more than suited me. And what could be easier than to please your loved ones with delicious food? So that all the fingers were licked, and they asked for additives :) This is how my path of mastering home cooking began, which continues to this day and, I think, has no end.
Of course, everyone has different tastes, including food. But there are dishes that are tasty, if not for everyone, then for the majority. Such dishes have always been interesting to me. And I always thought it was important not to spend a lot of time preparing food. That is, to cook, and even tasty, but at the same time with minimal loss of time and effort. A classic omelet in the oven will turn out fluffy, porous, soft. This is prepared in kindergarten. And I will reveal the secrets of its preparation. Because there are certain rules for making an omelette high in the oven.

  • milk - 500 ml

How to bake an omelet:

1. I already mentioned proportions. For a fluffy omelet, you need to take 50 ml of milk for 1 egg. Take as many eggs as you like. Take milk in proportion to the number of eggs.

Whisk the eggs into a bowl and season with a little salt to taste. Use a whisk or fork to stir the eggs. But don't whisk like on.

No need to beat eggs for an omelet! This is very important for the omelet to have the right density and texture.

2.Pour milk into the eggs and whisk again until smooth. This will be the preparation for the omelet. Now take a shape of a suitable size.

Another secret of a fluffy omelet is that the shape should be with high sides of a small diameter.

In fact, the omelet will not rise as much as a biscuit. And what rises will fall off when you take it out of the oven. Therefore, the height of the finished omelet will be the same as the height of the liquid mass in the mold. Take a small form and fill out 2/3 of it.

Before filling the mold, brush it with a piece of butter. Lubricate both the bottom and sides.

3. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Bake the omelet for 30-40 minutes, depending on the number of eggs. Take out the omelet, cut into portions and serve with herbs, sour cream, vegetables. It turns out a tender, juicy, porous omelet in the oven.

Omelet in the oven with vegetables.

The previous recipe is an omelet, like in kindergarten: tall, fluffy, porous. This recipe will be different. Here vegetables are poured with an omelet, the height of the finished dish will be small, since a wider shape is taken. If you take a narrow shape, then the height of the omelet will be greater.

Ingredients:

  • eggs - 3 pcs.
  • zucchini - 0.5 pcs.
  • bell pepper - 1 pc.
  • hard cheese - 150 gr.
  • tomato - 0.5 pcs.
  • champignons - 3 pcs.
  • leeks - 30 gr.
  • fresh parsley for serving
  • sunflower oil for frying
  • salt, pepper, dried basil - to taste

Cooking method:

1. First you need to cook vegetables in a pan. Cut the mushrooms into slices. Tomatoes - in slices, zucchini and leek - in cubes, pepper - in rings.

2.Pour a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil into a frying pan, heat it up. Put sauteed leeks, zucchini, peppers, mushrooms. Stir and fry everything together until half cooked (5 minutes).

3. Grate the cheese on a fine grater. Beat eggs into a bowl and add cheese to them, but not all, but 100 grams. Stir until smooth. Season with salt and pepper, add dried basil and stir again.

4. At the end of cooking vegetables, add the tomato, salt and pepper. Cook for one more minute.

5. Take a baking dish and place the vegetables in it. Pour the egg and cheese mixture over the vegetables. Sprinkle the top of the omelet with the remaining cheese.

6.In an oven preheated to 180 degrees, put the omelet to bake for 10 minutes.

The omelet can be made in muffin tins. Then you get a portioned dish. The filling can be any, take what is in the refrigerator (sausage, cheese, vegetables, meat).

Ingredients:

  • eggs - 3 pcs. large
  • milk - 150 ml
  • boiled pork - 150 gr.
  • any vegetables (tomato, onion, broccoli)
  • salt, pepper, paprika, dried dill - to taste
  • vegetable oil for lubricating the mold

Making a cupcake omelet:

1.Wash the vegetables and cut them into small cubes. Chop the onion as small as possible. Cut the boiled pork or sausage into cubes too.

2. Whisk three eggs into a bowl and whisk to stir. Pour in milk and stir again with a whisk until smooth. Add spices to taste: salt, pepper, paprika, dried herbs. Stir everything well again to dissolve the salt.

3. Grease the muffin tins with vegetable oil. Place broccoli, boiled pork, some onion and tomatoes on top of the dish.

4.Pour the omelet over the filling. For this, it is convenient to use a ladle from a multicooker.

5. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees and bake the snack for 20 minutes.

6.Capcakes are easy to remove from the mold, look appetizing and very tasty. Prepare such an original omelet in the oven.

Italian omelet in the oven with chicken and vegetables.

You have never eaten such an omelet. It can also be cooked for dinner, as it is very satisfying.

Ingredients:

  • chicken fillet - 250-300 gr.
  • low-fat cream - 200 ml (can be replaced with milk)
  • hard cheese - 100 gr.
  • zucchini - 1 pc.
  • garlic - 1-2 cloves
  • tomatoes - 2-3 pcs.
  • bell pepper - 1 pc.
  • eggs - 5 pcs.
  • leeks, parsley
  • salt, pepper, nutmeg, thyme - to taste
  • vegetable oil for frying

Preparation:

1. Vegetables for this omelet-casserole can be taken any. There are no canons and rules here. It is desirable that the vegetables are of different colors, then the finished dish will look beautiful. The vegetables should be cut into medium slices so that they do not turn into porridge when fried. Cut the zucchini into semicircles, the leek into rings, the tomatoes into slices, the pepper into strips.

2. Wash the chicken and pat dry with a paper towel. Cut into small pieces.

  3. We coat a heat-resistant rectangular container with butter (it is better to observe the measure here, since excess oil can prevent the omelet from rising). Fill the mold with a mixture of eggs and milk. The whole secret of the splendor of the kindergarten omelet was simply the fact that in one baking sheet the chefs tried to cook as many portions as possible at once, filling the container as much as possible. Therefore, if you want to get a tall omelet at home, you need to give preference to a small form, for example, 23x13 cm in size, as in our example.
  4. We bake the omelet at 200 degrees for about 35-40 minutes, until golden brown on top appears. Times may vary depending on oven conditions and the thickness of the milk and egg layer. In the process of baking, the omelet will "grow" by about 1/3, but after being removed from the oven it will settle - it should be so! Also, some whey may remain at the bottom of the mold, this is normal and natural.
  5. Cool slightly, cut the omelet into portions and serve.
