  1. Make a marinade for meat. Mix lemon juice, water, olive oil and spices.
  2. Keep the chicken in the marinade for a quarter of an hour, after cutting it into thin strips.
  3. Chop the cabbage. Cut the tomato and cucumbers into small cubes.
  4. Make the sauce. To do this, mix sour cream with mayonnaise and add garlic. It is allowed to crush or just finely chop. Add a little cucumber to the sauce to let the juice go.
  5. When the chicken is ready, fry it in a practically dry and well-calcined pan.

  • pork pulp - 300 g;
  • cucumber - 1 large;

  • low-fat mayonnaise - 6 tbsp. l .;
  • dill, parsley, cilantro - a small bunch;
  • garlic - 3 cloves;
  • salt and pepper mixture to taste.

  1. First you need to know how to deliciously fry pork. First, it must be washed, dried and cut into small strips. Then the meat is pickled for two hours in 2 tbsp. l mayonnaise with salt and pepper. To make it even softer, you can add a few drops of lemon juice.
  2. Fry the marinated pork in a skillet in a minimum amount of oil over high heat.
  3. Prepare the sauce. Wash all greens, chop them thoroughly. Combine dill, parsley and cilantro with the remaining mayonnaise, sour cream, and crushed garlic. Add a little salt, beat everything with a blender and leave the sauce in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.

I tried to cook it with different meat, but the most popular was shawarma with chicken and lamb. The beef had to cook longer and turned out a bit dry, and the pork was probably a bit greasy, but this is an amateur and you can experiment. You can use meat of turkey, duck. I will say right away that I did not try this composition and will share with you recipes for cooking with lamb and chicken.

First, what is shawarma? Pancakes with meat ate? It remotely seems that only instead of pancake is Armenian lavash, and instead of minced meat, fried meat with fresh vegetables and sauce.

First, prepare the marinade for meat, for this we mix 2 - 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil with 4 - 5 tablespoons of soy sauce, add a little apple cider vinegar, and one tablespoon of pepper mixture

For the shawarma itself you will need -

  • Armenian (thin) pita bread - 6 pcs.
  • Lamb flesh - 600 g.
  • Fresh cucumbers and tomatoes - 3 each.
  • Cabbage 200 g
  • Sour cream, kefir and mayonnaise - 4 tbsp each. l
  • Garlic - 4 cloves
  • Dill, parsley and seasoning to taste - ground pepper, coriander, salt.

Cut the lamb pulp into steaks, pickle, smear and water the sauce. Allow him to stand for at least 1 hour. After that, fry it in a grill or in a frying pan in oil.

When ready, cut it into small pieces.

In a cup, cook vegetables, after cutting and mixing with seasonings and salt.

To grease pita bread, make a sauce by mixing kefir, mayonnaise, sour cream, squeeze garlic into it and add finely chopped greens.

Now the fun part. You need to roll pita bread.

Lay the pita bread on the table, grease it with a thin layer of the cooked sauce, put a layer of chopped vegetables, a layer of meat closer to one edge, add a little sauce between the layers and roll it into a tube, folding the edges inward (approximately, like pancakes with meat).

  • Armenian lavash - 4 pcs.
  • Chicken meat (breast) - 300 g.
  • Fresh tomatoes - 2 pcs.
