I make the dough for waffles in a waffle iron with margarine, but if you don't use it, replace it with a creamy one. There are many variations of the test, but I like this one the most. For cooking, you also need a mixer and any waffle iron, even a Soviet one, as believe me, this does not affect the quality and taste.

Cream for wafer rolls can be very different, someone loves protein, someone custard, cottage cheese, chocolate, cream or, as in the classic version, from boiled condensed milk. But you can also do without it, but just eat the waffles themselves for tea.

Next, I will show you in detail how to cook waffle rolls in an electric waffle iron so that they are ruddy, keep their shape and do not crack when folding, which is very important. Indeed, in any baking, its appearance and appetizing are quite important.

How to make waffles in a waffle iron

So, I drive 4 eggs into a deep bowl, add a glass of sugar and beat everything with a mixer until frothy, but not to such a state as for a biscuit, so three minutes will be enough here at maximum power. I measure sugar and flour in a glass in which exactly 200 ml. liquid, so be guided by this.

And at this time I set the margarine to melt. This can be done in the microwave, in a water bath, or simply on the stove. I choose the last option, but here it is important that the margarine does not start to boil, so do not heat the heat too much and when it melts by about half, remove it from the stove, then everything will happen on its own. Pour it over the beaten eggs and mix. Then I add 2 cups of flour and mix. Baking powder or soda is not needed at all in this recipe.

If you want to make them chocolate, then it's time to add a couple of tablespoons of cocoa powder, stir again and you're done, but this time I do without it. The dough is homogeneous and quite liquid, the consistency is similar to muffins or pancakes. Such a recipe for delicious waffles in a waffle iron, as in childhood, and when you try at least one of them, you will see for yourself.

Now I plug the electric waffle iron into an outlet and put it on a wooden board, as it will heat up. My waffle iron dates back to Soviet times, but nevertheless it copes with its task perfectly well. When it warms up, I do not grease it, since there is already margarine in the dough, but immediately put a couple of tablespoons of the dough on it. If you want to make them thin and crispy, one spoon is enough for you, and if a little thicker, then add two. Now I close it and press it by the handles so that the two parts are tightly pressed.

The waffles are baked quickly enough, and the longer it works, the more it heats up and bakes faster. To check the readiness, it is enough to open one half. If the color has become rosy, then you can shoot. To do this, use a wooden spatula, gently prying the wafer on one side and transferring it to a platter. Then you can leave them like that, but I still roll them up in tubes.

Immediately after you remove the waffle, do not pour the next dough, but roll this one, because they harden quickly. If you do this not immediately, but after 5 - 10 seconds, then when folding, they can crack and break. Now each of you can make waffles in an electric waffle iron at home, as you can see everything is simple and quick.

If you do not like crunchy wafer rolls, but prefer soft waffles, then this recipe is for you. Honestly, I never thought about the recipe for this dessert, I took everything "by eye", today I decided to correct this annoying mistake.
I prefer waffles with milk, with a low margarine content, because I bake a lot of them, and imagining how much margarine we can absorb at a time, I urgently replaced some of this ingredient with milk.
Let's start. First we need to melt the margarine or butter and then cool to room temperature. What is it for? We, as a rule, take milk from the refrigerator, and if you combine cold milk and hot margarine, then the latter will go in flakes.

Now pour milk into the melted margarine.


Drive eggs into the milk-oil mixture.


Add vanillin and sugar. The amount of sugar I indicated is the minimum limit. If you like sweeter, add 1.5 or even 2 times more.

Let's literally add a pinch of salt.

Finally, add flour.

Mix everything well. The dough should be the consistency of thick condensed milk. If during the kneading process it seems to you that there are lumps left in the dough, do not be alarmed, in the finished waffles you will not feel any clots of flour.


I inherited the waffle iron - an old Soviet one. The appearance is already so-so, but otherwise it is not demolished). So, we warm up the waffle iron. We spread 3 tablespoons of dough.


Slightly level the dough over the surface.

Cover the dough with a waffle iron lid and fry at maximum power until browning. I advise you to use a kitchen mitten, although the plastic handle does not heat up, steam comes from the inside - you can get burned!


If you fry the waffles at medium power, the cooking time is doubled, they will dry longer and become harder and crisper. But then be patient, because at the maximum, I fry waffles from this amount of dough for more than an hour.

Beat the margarine, add a little granulated sugar to it. Beat the eggs until foamy. Pour flour into whipped margarine in portions, alternating with portions of cream, gradually stirring. Beaten eggs are poured into a well-mixed dough and mixed well again.


4. FRESH WAFFLES
Flour - 1 glass
Egg - 1 pc.
Water - 1 glass
Mix egg yolk, salt and soda. Add half a glass of water, add all the flour and mix thoroughly, gradually adding the rest of the water. For sweet waffles, add 2 tablespoons of sugar.


5. SAND WAFFLES
Flour - 2 cups
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Egg - 1 pc.
Butter - 30 g.
Water - 0.5 l.
Salt, soda - on the tip of a teaspoon
Vanillin - to taste
Grind butter at room temperature with sugar, add egg, salt, baking soda, vanillin and beat well. Add half a serving of water, add flour and mix thoroughly. Then gradually top up the rest of the portion.


6. WAFFLES ON KEFIR (not sweet)
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp soda

2 glasses of kefir
1/3 cup vegetable oil

0.5 l milk
1/2 pack of margarine
1 egg
250 g of sugar (I take less - about 200 g)

Melt margarine.
Add egg, sugar, vanillin, mix with a mixer. Then there is a trick: to make the dough without lumps, I first add flour and stir, and then add milk a little bit.
If the dough becomes liquid - again flour, diluted with milk. And so, until about 0.5 liters of milk are consumed.
The dough should turn out like thick sour cream (but not rustic, where the spoon is).


8. Waffles on condensed milk
margarine 200 g;
condensed milk 1 can;
eggs 2 pcs;
starch 1 cup;
flour 1 cup;
soda (1/3 tsp), slaked with vinegar.
Mash the margarine, mix all the ingredients, the dough should not be liquid. Put a little dough on the base of the waffle iron, make sure that the waffles do not burn.
Before the first waffle, grease the waffle iron (both surfaces), then no butter is needed. So that the waffles are the same color, I follow the clock with a second hand. As soon as the waffle is ready, I roll it up with a tube. I tried different recipes, but I didn’t like it, if you don’t eat it at once, the waffles became soft, and these remained crispy for a long time.


9. WAFFLES WITH SOUR CREAM
Eggs - 5 pcs.
Sugar - 5 tbsp. l
Butter - 1 tbsp. l
Sour cream - 1/2 cup
Flour - 1 glass
Separate the whites from the yolks and refrigerate. Grind the yolks with sugar until they are white, add melted butter (not hot), sour cream to them; mix, add flour and stir well until smooth. Add chilled whites, whipped into a thick foam, and gently mix from top to bottom.


10. CREAM WAFFLES
butter - 125 g
sugar - 3-4 tbsp. spoons
flour - 1/2 cup
eggs - 4 pcs.
cream - 4 tbsp. spoons
water - 1 glass
vanilla sugar to taste
Cooking method
Mix softened butter with sugar and vanilla sugar.
Divide the eggs into whites and yolks.
Beat egg yolks with salt into a homogeneous mass and transfer to softened butter with sugar.
Beat the resulting mass with a mixer until foam forms.
Mix the sifted flour with baking soda and a little water. Then transfer to the egg-oil mixture and mix everything thoroughly.
Then pour in the remaining water, cream and mix until smooth.
Whisk the cooled egg whites into a fluffy foam, gently insert into the dough and mix gently with a wooden spatula.
Fry waffles in a preheated electric waffle iron for 2-5 minutes.


11. WAFFLES "MOTHER"
2 cups (250 g) flour
1 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp. l. Sahara
1 tsp salt
2 cups milk
2 eggs
2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil

1. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Add milk, eggs and vegetable oil, mix thoroughly.
2. Lightly grease the waffle iron or sprinkle with oil spray. Pour the required amount of dough onto the hot waffle iron. Bake until the waffles are golden brown.


12. WAFFLES "ROYAL"
200 g butter
75 g sugar (1/3 cup)
1 bag of vanilla sugar
a pinch of salt
6 eggs
300 g flour (2 cups)
2 tsp baking powder
200 ml cream
some sparkling water
waffle maker oil

1. Beat softened butter, sugar, vanilla powder until fluffy. Introduce the eggs one at a time while continuing to beat.
2. Mix flour and baking powder. Add to the egg-butter mixture alternately with cream, in small portions. At the end, add a little mineral water with gas to get a dough with the consistency of thick sour cream, a little thicker than for pancakes.


13. WAFFLES ON YOGHURT
3 eggs
1.5 cups (375 g) vanilla or fruit yogurt
1.25 cups (150 g) flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
100 g butter, melted
Cooking method
1. Preheat the waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions. Whisk the eggs in a large bowl, then add the yogurt, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, melted butter, mixing until smooth.
2. Pour a small amount of dough onto the hot waffle iron. The dough will disperse slightly under the lid. Bake until steam stops escaping, about 5 minutes.


14. GENTLE WAFFLES WITH CHEESE
3 eggs
0.5 cups milk
150 g cottage cheese
3 tbsp. l. Sahara
3 tbsp. l. butter
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
Cooking method
1. Separate the whites and yolks.
2. Beat the protein until firm peaks.
3. Mix flour with salt and baking powder.
4. Beat the yolk with sugar, add melted butter, milk and cottage cheese.
5. Mix the yolk mixture with flour.
6. Add whites gently, stirring from top to bottom

so that the mass does not fall off.

15. WAFFLES FOR BREAKFAST
2 1/2 cups flour
200 g butter
3 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
a pinch of salt
Cooking method
1. Mix flour with salt. Beat eggs lightly with sugar. Add vanilla extract to the eggs.
2. Melt the butter. Add eggs with sugar to the butter, knead well with a spoon.
3. Add flour little by little. Mix well until smooth.
4. Bake in an electric waffle iron or in a waffle iron on the stovetop.


16. BELGIAN WAFFLES
Soft margarine (butter) - 125 g
Granulated sugar - 75 g
Vanilla sugar - 1 packet.
Chicken egg - 3 pieces
Wheat flour - 250 g
Salt (pinch)
Milk - 250 ml
Mineral water - 125 ml
Baking powder for dough - 1/4 tsp.


Separate the whites from the yolks. Beat the whites well.
Beat butter, sugar, vanillin, yolks and salt until sugar dissolves.
Combine flour and baking powder. Pour milk into flour and add butter and sugar mass.
Then add mineral water and whipped egg whites.
Mix everything well
When serving, you can sprinkle with cinnamon and powdered sugar.


17. LIEU WAFFLES
Flour - 400 g
Egg - 2 pieces
Milk - 140 ml
Sugar (large) - 180 g
Butter - 200 g
Yeast (dry) - 1.5 tsp
Vanilla sugar - 1 packet.
Salt - 0.2 tsp
Heat half of the milk / in the microwave or on the stove /. Add yeast, cover and leave to rise for 10 minutes.
Break 2 eggs into the remaining milk, add salt, beat everything well with a whisk.
In a deep bowl, knead the flour and butter. Add sugar, milk with yeast and milk with eggs, stir well with a wooden spoon or mixer on low speed until sticky. Cover and leave to rise for 30 minutes.
On a well-floured work surface, divide the dough into 12 pieces.
Roll each part into a ball, roll in large lumps of sugar.


18. VIENNA WAFFLES.
Sugar (more if you want sweeter) - 100 g
Flour - 350 g
Milk - 1 stack.
Butter - 200 g
Egg - 3 pieces
Lemon juice - 1 tbsp. l.
Baking dough - 2 tsp
Rub butter and sugar, add milk and eggs, then add flour, baking powder and lemon juice, mix everything.
The dough is ready!
Gently spoon the dough onto the waffle iron and bake for 3-5 minutes until golden brown.


19. CHEESE WAFFLES "GOLDEN"
Cottage cheese (low-fat) - 125 g
Butter (melted) - 60 g
Sugar - 3 tbsp. l.
Lemon zest (grated, 1 lemon)
Flour - 150 g
Milk - 1/8 l
Egg - 3 pieces
Mix cottage cheese with melted butter, add sugar and lemon zest. Add flour and milk gradually. Separate the whites from the yolks and add the yolks to the dough.
Whisk the whites into a very strong foam and mix gently into the dough. Bake waffles until golden brown.


20. CORN WAFFLES
Corn flour - 150 g
Chicken egg - 2 pieces
Butter - 50 g
Milk - 200 ml
Liquid honey - 4 tbsp. l.
Chopped almonds (a little)
Baking dough - 1 tsp.
Rum (without it) - 1 tsp.
Knead the dough from corn flour, eggs, butter (melt), milk, baking powder, honey and rum (if you add) and let it brew for 10-15 minutes.
Add almonds and mix.
Heat the waffle iron (grease with oil if necessary) and pour in the dough.
Bake until golden yellow.


21. STARCH WAFFLES
Butter (melt) - 100 g
Granulated sugar - 150 g
Chicken egg - 3 pieces
Wheat flour - 100 g
Starch - 100 g
Baking powder for dough - 1 tsp.
Mix melted butter with sugar
Add eggs, beat with a mixer
Add flour, starch and baking powder. The dough is thick. Let it stand for 30 minutes
Put on a greased waffle iron 1 tbsp. l. test
Bake waffles until golden brown.
The yield is about 12 waffles.


22. COCONUT WAFFLES
Butter (margarine) - 150 g
Flour - 300 g
Coconut flakes - 100 g
Sugar - 100 g
Vanillin - 1 packet.
Egg - 3 pieces
Baking powder - 1.5 tsp.
Salt (pinch)
Melt the butter, add sugar and vanillin, mix with a mixer. Add eggs one at a time. We mix everything.
Add salt and coconut to our mixture. We mix.
Now add the flour mixed with baking powder. Mix everything thoroughly.
We heat up our electric waffle iron, spread the dough.


23. WAFFLES "LAKOMKA"
Egg - 4 pieces
Sour cream - 5 tbsp. l.
Flour - 4 tbsp. l.
Starch - 2 tbsp. l.
Sugar - 0.5 stack.
Salt (pinch)
Break the eggs into a bowl.
Add sugar and stir until sugar dissolves.
Add sour cream and stir with a whisk.
Pour in flour and starch, one by one, stirring with a whisk until smooth.
Heat the waffle iron (you can also bake in the oven on parchment, spreading 1 tablespoon each at a distance).
Pour 1 tbsp. l. into the mold and press down immediately with the lid.


24. CRISPY WAFFLES.
Chicken egg - 4 pieces
Margarine - 200 g
Sugar - 1 stack.
Powdered sugar - 1 stack.
Flour - 1.5 stack.
Vanillin
Melt margarine, cool a little, add sugar, powdered sugar, eggs, vanillin, flour. The dough should be like sour cream. Put it in a waffle iron with a tablespoon and bake to the desired color. Twist hot immediately, otherwise they will break.


25. RHINE WAFFLES.
Butter - 125 g
Sugar - 0.5 stack.
Flour - 1.5 stack.
Egg - 2 pieces
Cloves (ground) - 2 g
Cinnamon (ground) - 2 g
Lemon zest (grated, 1 lemon)
First, beat the butter (at room temperature), add sugar, yolks, ground cloves, cinnamon and lemon zest to it. Pour the sifted flour in portions into whipped butter and stir constantly. Pour separately whipped egg whites into a well-mixed dough and mix well again. We bake until tender.


26. LINGER WAFFLES
Granulated sugar - 0.5 stack.
Sunflower oil - 1 tbsp. l.
Wheat flour - 1 stack.
Water - 2/3 stack.
Baking soda (on the tip of a knife)
Mix flour with sugar and soda, pour in water and sunflower oil - you get a dough like on a pancake.
Bake like regular waffles.
The number of ingredients is given for 1 serving (about 10 thin wafers).
The waffles are sweet and tasty.


27. Waffles from puff pastry.
Puff pastry - 1 pack
Flour (a little)
Defrost the dough plates and cut into strips, roll them lightly in flour (so as not to stick to the rolling pin), roll them out a little.
Place one strip in a waffle iron, press with a lid and 2 minutes. fry.
Put on a dish or board (just prepare the rest of the layers).


28. CHOCOLATE WAFFLES.
1 tbsp. l. beat milk with 2 yolks,
2 tbsp. l. sugar, 1 tbsp. l. cocoa, 2 tbsp. l. sl. butter, vanilla
and 1.5 tbsp. flour. Add 2 whisk. yolk, mix. Bake the waffles.


29. WAFFLES IN MAYONESE.
250 g mayonnaise, 3 eggs, 200 gr. margarine,
1 cup starch, 1.5 cups sugar
1 tsp soda quenched with vinegar, 3 glasses of flour.
Mix everything and bake the waffles until golden brown.


30. WAFFLES WITH Cinnamon.
200g sl. beat butter with salt,
1/4 Art. sugar, cinnamon, add 1 tbsp. flour, mix.
Add 3 whisk. squirrel, put in a waffle iron, bake until golden brown.
