Porridge, and especially if it is rice made with milk, will be a great breakfast for children and adults. There is nothing complicated in its preparation, especially if there is a multicooker assistant in the kitchen, then you do not need to monitor the milk and be afraid that the breakfast will burn.

The existing versions of this dish can be easily adapted to any multicooker model. For cooking, the option "Milk porridge" is mainly used, but if it is not there, you can use others: "Rice", "Cooking" or "Stewing".

As for any dish in a multicooker, the unit of measurement for the main ingredients is the multi-glass that comes with the gadget, so regardless of the model of the electric pan, it will be difficult to make a mistake with the proportions.

Each model of a multicooker has its own characteristics, so the Polaris multicooker has an option "Milk porridge", which is ideal for this dish, but it is at the very end of the list of programs, so you have to press the "Menu" button for a long time.

The second feature of the miracle pots of this manufacturer is the automatic transition to the "Heating" mode. If you forget a little about the dish in this mode, then the rice may simply stick to the bottom.

To make a rice breakfast in milk, you need the following products:

  • 1 multi-glass of rice cereal;
  • 4 multi-glasses of milk;
  • 1 multi-glass of water;
  • 50 g granulated sugar;
  • 30 g butter;
  • 3 g table salt.

It will take 65 minutes to prepare the dish, of which 5 minutes to measure and pour the food into the bowl, and the rest of the time is the direct preparation in the electronic assistant.

The calorie content of the finished milk-rice treat is 107.5 kcal / 100 g.

Cooking algorithm:

Rice porridge in milk with dried fruits in a Panasonic multicooker

You can enrich the taste of a familiar dish by adding dried fruits to the porridge. Dried apricots and raisins are ideal, but it is better not to put prunes, since it will turn the color of the finished breakfast treat into an ugly gray shade.   • 500 ml of milk;
  • 50 g sugar;
  • 40 g butter;
  • 50 g raisins and dried apricots;

The calorie content of the dish is 152.0 kcal / 100 g.

Sequencing:

  1. Rinse the groats from litter and excess starch, do the same with dried fruits;
  2. Put all the ingredients in a slow cooker, mix and cook using the "Milk porridge" option. You do not need to set the cooking duration manually, it is automatically determined by the program parameters.

It is better to cook milk rice porridge from fatter milk (from 2.5% to 3.2%), so the dish will turn out to be more aromatic and tasty.

When preparing dairy dishes in a multicooker, it so happens that housewives are faced with such a problem as milk escaping through the valve. This situation can be avoided by diluting milk with water, taking one part water for three parts of milk. The taste of the finished dish will not be affected by this, and all the milk will remain in the multi-pan.

The second trick, which will prevent milk from escaping, is used by many housewives when preparing dishes from milk in an ordinary saucepan, when the walls of the pan (in this case, multicanters) are smeared with a piece of butter.

If you want to cook milk porridge for breakfast without waking up an hour earlier, but using the "Delayed start" option, you need to freeze the milk and put it in this form with the rest of the products in the multicooker bowl. Thus, even on a summer morning after the signal, you can have breakfast with delicious milk porridge, and not rice with sour milk.

Inexperienced housewives are often interested in the question: when to add butter to a dish? It can be put right with the rest of the ingredients, in a multican with ready-made porridge, or directly on a plate before serving. So the answer to the question when depends only on personal preference.

My kids are big lovers of all kinds of cereals. So mom prepares for all varieties and types. As I already wrote about Porridge "Friendship" - in a slow cooker with rice and millet Today we will talk about a very ordinary rice milk porridge, but cooked in a slow cooker. Genius, the person who came up with this device! Even just because of the preparation of porridge, this thing is worth buying. Well, okay, let's put the laudatory odes to the device aside, and let's talk about the porridge itself.
We need cow's milk. I take the whole cow, as I cook for children, I don't really like to use the store for these purposes. Pour it into the multicooker bowl
We take rice. If you want the porridge to be what is called rice to rice, take steamed rice, and if you want something more boiled, something like Krasnodar is better suited.

Put the rice in a multicooker bowl with milk and put sugar there. I start with a spoonful of sugar. I wrote it in recipe 2, since my daughter prefers a sweeter version, and I try to put less sugar for my son.

And add a little salt there too.

We turn on the multicooker in the "milk porridge" mode and wait. This was the end of our labors. The device will tell you when everything is ready. Let the porridge stand a little and swell. In my case, it was a little with milk, since the steam treated one does not really want to absorb excess liquid.

My children are very fond of such porridge.

You can add a piece of butter in portions to each plate; this is an excellent addition to milk porridge.

Enjoy your meal!

  • If you cook rice porridge with milk, always add water to the milk, in a ratio of about 1: 3. This will not affect the taste, but the milk will not escape through the valve;
  • There is another way to prevent milk from escaping from the bowl: take a piece of butter and grease the sides of the bowl;
  • If you decide to cook rice porridge on a delayed start (in the evening), freeze some of the water or milk and put it in the bowl along with the rest of the food. Even on the hottest night, milk will not turn sour, it's checked!
  • Rice porridge can be cooked without milk. In this case, add fruits and berries (fresh or dry), vegetables or meat to it. Note: rice porridge with meat is not pilaf! The technology for cooking pilaf, including in a multicooker, is completely different;
  • In different multicooker mode "Porridge", "Milk porridge" or "Groats" work differently. The more powerful the appliance, the less cooking time. In multi-cookers like "Panasonic" with a power of 500 W, the "Milk porridge" mode will be stretched for an hour, or even more. If you cook large amounts of porridge, the cereal may remain slightly undercooked. Set the mode again or leave the porridge in the heating mode for an hour and a half (of course, you need to take this into account when preparing the porridge in time, so as not to be left without breakfast). Powerful multicooker will easily handle any amount of food;
  • If your multicooker has automatic programs, there is usually no need to set a cooking time. However, there are units in which the possibility of adjusting the time is provided, regardless of the type of program.
