The main condition for the correct preparation of the dish according to this recipe is the use of high quality sausages, as well as their addition to your choice with a slice of pickled cucumber, a pinch of grated cheese or a strip of bell pepper. A treat made from yeast dough with such a filling will turn out to be airy and very satisfying.

Ingredients:

  • sausages - 10-12 pcs.;
  • flour - 500 gr.;
  • egg - 1 pc.;
  • butter (butter) - 50 gr.;
  • yeast (dry) - 10 gr.;
  • milk - 270 ml;
  • salt - ½ tsp;
  • sugar - 1 tbsp. l.

For the dough, warm the milk to 40⁰C, stir in the yeast and sugar, then leave the mixture warm for 15 minutes. Beat the egg with salt, add softened butter and milk-sugar mixture with yeast to it. After thorough mixing, the composition is poured into the sifted flour and a thick, homogeneous and elastic dough is kneaded. If necessary, you can add more flour to the mass so that it does not stick to your hands. The lump of dough then needs to be placed in a container, covered and put in heat for 50 minutes to increase in size.

Advice! The dough according to this recipe can be prepared in large quantities and frozen, so that the preparation of the next portion of delicious sausages in a pan takes only 20-25 minutes.

Punch down the risen ball and roll it into a long “sausage” on a table sprinkled with flour, and then divide it into 10-12 identical pieces. Lubricate each piece with vegetable oil and leave again in a warm place for 20 minutes, then roll them into long flat strips. At the beginning of each, a sausage is laid out (optionally with the addition of grated cheese or thin slices of pickled cucumber and bell pepper), then the strips are twisted in a spiral so that the edges of the filling remain open.

Leave it in a bowl or saucepan and cover with a clean kitchen towel. Let the dough rise for 2 hours, while once an hour or 40 minutes, open it and knead it. Important: The dough will rise twice, so choose the right size dishes so that the mass does not “escape” from you.
