  2. Pour the prepared food with tomato juice. If the vegetables are not completely covered with it, then add half a glass of water.
  3. Bring the contents of the saucepan to a simmer and simmer for 10 minutes over medium-high heat.
  4. Place a lid on the pot and reduce heat to low. Boil the soup for another 10 minutes.
  5. Without opening the lid, remove the pan from the heat and wrap it with a blanket or newspaper. Keep the dish warm for another 10 minutes.
