This herring salad with potatoes and onions is really so simple that it can be prepared by a beginner in the culinary business, and consists of just a few ingredients: boiled potatoes in a peel, onions and lightly salted herring cut into slices. Oh, what a deliciousness it is, I'll tell you! And if you pour the appetizer with delicious oil, for example, pumpkin or sesame oil, and even add spices to taste, you will get an excellent simple dish.

Cut the peeled potatoes into strips or cubes.




Now we are engaged in fish. Cut off the head and tail, be sure to cut the tummy and select the insides. Then we remove the ridge from the carcass and carefully, and most importantly, carefully, take out all the bones.
Cut herring fillets into small slices.




Chop the peeled onion finely.




Finely chop the greens.

  • 0.5 kg of potatoes;
  • tomatoes - 3 pcs.;
  • onions - 2 pcs.;
  • cheese - 200 g;
  • 1-2 eggs;
  • sour cream - 1 tbsp. a spoon;
  • herring - 2 pcs. medium size;
  • 100 ml of water;
  • salt;
  • vegetable oil (in order to grease the baking dish).

Cooking time: 40 - 60 minutes.

The calorie content of the dish is 182 kcal per 100 g.

We clean the fish, remove the bones and cut the fillets into small portions. Cut the onion into large rings (as thin as possible so that it has time to cook). Chop the tomatoes into cubes or slices. Three cheese and potatoes on a coarse grater. We make a fill for the fish. In a separate container, mix the eggs, sour cream, pour in a little water, salt and pepper. Beat everything until a homogeneous mass is formed.

  • 2 large potatoes;

  • fresh herbs;
  • hard cheese - 50g;
  • salt, pepper to taste;

  • 300-400 g potatoes;
