I’ve been thinking about making it for a long time, but somehow there wasn’t the right opportunity. And then bam - it’s my husband’s birthday! I’ll tell you honestly, the holiday and good mood were ensured from the very moment when I turned off the lights in the hall (and it was still too early to take out the cake, the guests were heated with impatience) and brought out the “Vulcan” made from potatoes. Yes, yes, exactly a volcano! The fire, rising brightly and shimmering in the glare of the darkness, created a sensation. No one could have imagined what this dish was! And it tastes so amazing too!

Products for cooking:

- 200-300 grams of mashed potatoes,
- 1 chicken fillet,
- 1-2 eggs,

To prepare a potato volcano with filling, cut the chicken fillet into small pieces and fry in a frying pan until cooked, thoroughly salting and peppering it.




Boil the eggs for 10 minutes.
Boil the potatoes, then add all the water and mash them into a puree.








Then add mushrooms, eggs, chicken fillet.










Cover the meat part with the remaining puree. The shape of the dish should be like a pyramid.
Bake the potato volcano in the oven for 10-15 minutes.
Then we decorate it with herbs and make drips with ketchup. Insert a piece of foil into the center of the volcano, pour cognac or vodka and set it on fire.

I put foil on the pan and put a layer of mashed potatoes on it. Then a layer of meat. So I made 2 meat layers and 3 potato layers. Designed in the form of a slide. I coated the entire mound with mashed potatoes and brushed the mashed potatoes with sunflower oil.
