Chicken meat baked with pumpkin and potatoes in the oven is a delicious, hearty dish for a family dinner.

In this case, it is better to take a little more oil than recommended in the recipe. But the thighs, on the contrary, are high in fat. Here you can reduce the amount of vegetable oil.

  • Potatoes (large) - 6 pcs.;
  • Pumpkin - 400 g;
  • Chicken wings - 600 g;
  • Onion - 1 pc.;
  • Garlic - 2 cloves;
  • Sour cream - 70 g;

  • Salt;
  • Spices.

Cooking

First, prepare the chicken marinade by combining sour cream with minced garlic, salt and seasonings. Wash the wings thoroughly under cold running water, remove the feathers, if any. Lubricate the chicken with the resulting sour cream mixture and leave in a cold place for 30-40 minutes to marinate.


Prepare potatoes. Cut the peeled potatoes into cubes about 2 cm.


Remove the skin from the pumpkin, and cut the flesh into slices, like a potato.


Next, lay out the ingredients on a baking sheet. First, 3-4 tablespoons of vegetable oil, then potatoes.


Sprinkle the potato layer with spices and salt. Lay out the pumpkin.


Now it's the turn of the onion, cut into rings.


Put the pickled wings on top of the "vegetable pillow".


To prevent moisture from evaporating, and the dish remains juicy and fragrant, cover the baking sheet with the ingredients with food foil. Send the chicken with vegetables to an oven preheated to 200 degrees.


Bake the dish for 35 - 40 minutes. After the specified time, remove the foil and leave the dish in the oven for another 15-20 minutes to brown the meat.
