Hearty Puff Pastry Meat Pie with Minced Meat

In my family, they love homemade pies very much, especially pies based on puff pastry turn out to be delicious, and if you also make a fragrant juicy filling, it is not a shame to put such a pie on the festive table. So, today I propose to cook a puff pastry meat pie with minced meat, we also add a little cottage cheese, herbs, spices - it will turn out simply incomparable! With us, such a pie flies away in one sitting, so if you have a large family, cook several pies at once or one large one. Minced meat, of course, is better to cook on your own by buying fresh meat - pork, beef, turkey, chicken - whichever you prefer, in my version pork and beef in the same proportion. Such a puff pastry meat pie with minced meat can be served simply with tea, or you can add it with fresh vegetables and serve as lunch. My detailed recipe with a photo will help you with it. - puff pastry - 400 gr.;
- minced meat - 500 gr.;
- cottage cheese - 200 gr.;
- onions - 1.5-2 pcs.;
- chicken yolk - 2 pcs.;
- salt, pepper, paprika, dry garlic - to taste;
- greens - 1 bunch;
- vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons

In a deep bowl, place the fresh minced meat that has just been cooked. Peel the onion, wash, chop into small cubes, add the onion to the minced meat.




Be sure to add fresh good cottage cheese to the minced meat, it should be grainy, and not creamy. Also season the minced meat with a generous pinch of paprika, ground pepper, garlic powder, salt.




Rinse your favorite fresh herbs - you can take dill, parsley, basil, cilantro, in general, any greens that you like. Chop the herbs finely and add to the minced meat bowl. Stir all ingredients.




Roll out one sheet of puff pastry, roll it out a little so that it does not turn out thin. Grease a dish for the oven with vegetable oil, cover the form with dough, lay out all the filling.






Cover the filling with a second sheet of dough, also slightly rolled out, make small holes in the dough. After beating a couple of yolks, grease the dough generously. Send the cake to the oven for 25-35 minutes, navigate by the oven and the cake - the top dough should brown well. Baking temperature 180 degrees. After removing it from the oven, let it cool slightly and immediately chop it, serve.
